AGAPE is great place to get your CDL. My instructor was Mr Rudolph, he was very patient with everyone , very profesional and always available to answer questions . The behind the wheel training was awesome, they will teach you skills that take time to learn like backing a 53 foot trailer, how to shift and double clutch . I got to practice driving in different conditions, which helped me feel confident and prepared for my CDL license test. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed my training experience at AGAPE and I highly recommend to anyone in Montgomery area looking to be a CDL driver.

I attended the class for dispatching and it is life changing! My instructor Mrs. Rudolph was so informative. This is my second dispatch class and this class offered by Agape was much more knowledgeable. She didn’t leave a stone unturned. I highly recommend those interested in pursuing a career in dispatching learn from the best.
I registered for AGAPE CDL TRAINING in the middle of November last year, passed on December 16th, and now I am driving a trailer truck, The passionate teaching and help of the academy director was a great help to me, I am korean, so my English is not good, but he taught me with patience, I am so thankful, I highly recommend AGAPE CDL TRAINING academy. They will give you a gift of acceptance.

Great classroom very educational , outside training time was ok would definitely recommend finding someplace with actual pavement to train on beforehand.Lots of new drivers dig ruts on the alley dock and there’s no way to smooth out the 3 foots ruts.instructors teaching maneuvers are great and teach multiple different ways to do the maneuvers and are very helpful and patient .
Best school in my opinion every instructor make sure you know what you doing before they pass you on and will work with you individually if your still having trouble highly recommend going to Roadmaster in Birmingham
Everything I learned here is paying off in a big way! Standing outside in the heat or cold can be rough, but everything I learned at roadmaster has paid off immensely. I was hired by a company after graduating, and the company has been thoroughly impressed with my driving as well as knowledge. My trainer at this company has stated that he's never had someone start driving that knew as much as I know. In speaking with multiple companies, trainers, and safety personnel, most students come into the truck with extremely crude knowledge of the basics, such as only being able to back the truck in a straight line. Roadmaster makes you proficient in straight line backing, angled (offset) backing, and alley docking (90 degree backing). If you're not familiar with trucks, all drivers have to inspect their trucks at the beginning of their shift, known as a "pre-trip inspection." The level of pre-trip taught at Roadmaster goes above and beyond what most companies and trainers require, meaning you'll know if something is wrong with your truck almost immediately. This is a life-saving skill to have. Finally, the on-the-road instruction is also above and beyond. In my short time being employed and on the road, this instruction has saved me from multiple potential issues. (Steve, I haven't hit a single curb yet. You'd be proud). In conclusion, if you want to get started in this industry with an extremely impressive education, I'd recommend roadmaster 1000%!!!

Where do I begin, I have had the best experience with RoadMaster Driving School. They have the best instructors I want to thank Zee for all her help and encouraging me to keep pushing and not giving up. She is an amazing instructor she patient and very professional. I could not have asked for a better instructor. I also want to thank Doug this man is the GOAT He never gave up on me even when I wanted to give up on myself. I remember when I told him that I was quitting because I could not get the 90, he let me vent and when I was done he said now get your butt back out there and knock that 90 out. I can't forget Matt he was very informative with everything that we needed to know prior to going out on the paid with Zee and Doug. I will always remember what he said in regards to getting our CDL's... When you get them they don't have any test scores on them, so don't get all in a pickle if your scores are not perfect just do your best and you will be fine. James I thank you as well for not listening to me when I stormed in your office and said that's it I'm done and I'm not coming back. You just sat there and when I was finished you said Bev you got this, just get out your head and do what you know to do. I also that you for taking out the time to come out to help me with that 90. Scott I can't forget about you, you were an awesome road instructor, very patient and calm. Thank you for all your help. Last but certainly not least Crystal even though I didn't have the pleasure of having you as a PTI instructor you gave me some very good pointers about being a lady trucker. Anthony was my instructor and it was an amazing time. They way he teaches is down to earth, and he will keep it real with you. He will also try to keep you calm by talking to you and giving you a one to one conversation while instructing. I believe that I have gained a better ability in driving without be nervous because of him. I would highly recommend this program to anyone else who is in need of wanting to drive.

I started my lessons in February and got my license by early March. This is a great school. My driving instructor was a amazing and was very open my learning style. I’ll never forget this experience. My experience at 160 was great. There were other students there who complained all day but when quizzed on their pre trips they didn’t do well. Every morning my instructors had us doing pretrips before maneuvers. When I was struggling with learning anything my instructors broke it down to a way I could learn better. I comprehended everything I learned and so did my group that started with me, and on July 30, 2022 myself and 5 other individuals were One and Done. Thanks to all my instructors: Isaiah, Kevin, Casey, Mrs.Diane, Foo, and Greg.
Got my License with this school. The instructors were amazing (especially James) and they know their stuff. Definitely recommend this school for anyone who wants there CDL.
The classroom experience during the first week was great and they got me ready for our permit tests no problem. Once I got out to the yard to prepare for the license test, there were a host of problems, including my testing date getting pushed back, even though I did everything in power to be ready for my test, I was not receiving the instruction that I needed to be prepared, until Mrs. Diane took over the yard. She had the yard turned around within a week and made sure that I received the training I needed to succeed and get my CDL-A. She deserves fives stars, and as long as she is there, I'd recommend anyone to 160 Driving Academy.
I went to 160 Driving Academy to get my CDL and passed the test on the first try. 160 gives you all the tools necessary to be successful if you just put the time in to study and practice your skills. Shout out to Mrs. Diane who really went the extra mile and came in early and stayed late to ensure I was prepared for my test date. Also the yard lead Casey, as he went out of his way on several occasions to help me better understand my maneuvers. Check out 160 if you are interested in acquiring a commercial drivers license. The teacher is very good he can come to pick up me in Prattville! We were driving the car around on neighborhoods and go on highway two-lane. and come back for about 2 hours..... Thank you.
Very knowledgeable and helpful. If you have a difficult time getting it together, instructor will be really patient with you. Helped my confidence and I passed the driving exam. They will not let you take driving exam until you are ready.

If the name ALABAMA, is in it, just know it's a downright disgrace. They're just so behind the time's.. can we have a zero for the state? But, I suppose it's WHO keeps getting elected in. You know, the good ole boy mentality.
I don't write reviews too often, but I feel like I should give credit where credit is due. I had to take the driving school course for a traffic ticket, and my instructor (I cannot for the life remember his last name as hard as I tried to remember...Mr. Delentos??) was amazing. It was an early Saturday morning and the room was so heavy at first, but he made us laugh and he made us so comfortable. I don't know about anyone else, but I learned a lot. I did not expect to. He was very helpful and patient and kind with all of us too.
Before arriving i was dreading this class... boy was i wrong. George Hunter was my instructor. He made the class so much fun. It was educational and engaging. If only George could have been ALL of my school teachers. I'd prob be an astrophysicist today.
