This is a wonderful experience with lots of knowledge and misty has a beautiful PowerPoint with lots of good and helpful information, we have cool guest speakers and they all have wonderful power points and really cool pictures of they’ve own, and I’ve learned a lot from this class and I gotta say that I will definitely miss this class and the people I met

Mesilla Driving academy is awesome! My teacher, Misty, was super nice and made the class really easy to follow. She explains everything in a way that’s simple to understand and always takes the time to answer questions. You can tell she really cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. I definitely recommend this school, and especially Misty, if you want a great learning experience!
I learned a lot with ms misty probably more than most teachers in normal school. I honestly do believe I can drive safely on the roads.

After spending an extended period of time at Best Price on 7/30/2025, it's very apparent to me that Erika is the glue that holds this business together. Her patience, skill and ability to go above and beyond are hard to come by in this day in age. BP was extremely busy yesterday and Erika handled everything and everyone with grace. Erika deserves a raise! She's incredible!
I picked up on everything really easily. I have yet to drive, but I have passed the test thus far.
Great classes and driving lessons, all of the staff were so helpful with any and all questions. I couldn't recommend a better place to learn to drive. Madison, Brenda, Ignacio, and Mr Freese were all a pleasure to work with and learn from! 10/10

Contacted Coach Al's for my 18 year old daughter to help with experience and confidence behind the wheel and everything from start to finish exceeded my expectations! From the first contact with Kay who was an incredible help with recommending the best thing for her to getting her scheduled and then the teaching from Coach Al and Gary directly. They were amazing; patient, informative and remarkable when it came to working with my daughter. They took the time and really invested in her and helped her so much in short period of time. If you are looking for a truly great customer service experience and instructors that are passionate about helping and teaching then this is the only place you need to contact!
I had a great experience with Coach Al’s driving school. Before I started the class which started February 17th. I had a search for driving schools in Albuquerque and I feel like I found the best place. Starting from answering my phone call and giving me class information until the end of the day it was a unique experience overall. Words are not enough to express my gratitude to Coach Eddie, Stacey, and everyone on the staff. Coach Eddie is a great person, teacher, and mentor. Being a teacher, I really loved his teaching skills, communication with students, handling the challenges, and passion for the job. I really appreciate everything they have taught us. It is definitely the best place to learn driving behind the wheel and in the curriculum. I definitely suggest here to everyone, including adults like me. Thank you so much for everything! You are the BEST!
This school has been absolutely outstanding. I'm incredibly thankful for how well they connect with the younger generation and their compassionate approach. They give the kids plenty of driving practice and put in real effort to earn the trust and respect of parents. I’ll keep recommending them again and again. My only regret is not knowing about them sooner, as I sent my first son to a different school, which was a terrible experience.
I was recently a student here and here's my experience. 1. Let's start with the good thing, the person who teaches the textbook part is pretty nice. Her name is Cindy. Also the people who do drive time with you are also very nice. Shout out to Bobby and Zachary, they helped me a lot with driving. 2. Coach Eddie, the main guy isn't so great. He seems sexist, and as a girl, he made me fairly uncomfortable. He calls every girl "babe", "girlfriend", or just "girl". Like we have names. I guess he does this with the boys in a way too calling them "son" or "bud", but it doesn't have the same implications as “babe” or “girlfriend". As an adult in a room full of teens this seems inappropriate, and as the main instructor, this seems very inappropriate. 3. Low key didn't learn a lot. I think the best thing in this class is the drive time with the instructor. Yes I understand that we have to go over a bunch of stuff that the state requires but the manner of teaching is ridiculously boring. Also, Coach Eddie goes on several long monologues about things unrelated to the class. 4. Now this one really gets me mad. They 100 percent let kids cheat on tests. Both on the permit test and the final exam one. Coach Eddie's way of justifying this is by telling you which ones are wrong by letting the student list out the answers(a b c or d) and either giving a look or outright telling them which is right. I'm sorry to be that snitch, but it's a permit test to let kids drive on the road, not some unnecessary exam. On top of that they score the final exam incorrectly so if you fail they'll turn that fail into an 80 for you so they can leave early. For example the girl sitting next to me got a 72, which they considered a fail but the teacher told me my math was wrong and said it was actually an 86. There were 50 questions and she got 16 wrong but got 2 extra credit questions, if you pull out your calculator you may notice that she scored 72. No shade to her, but like she should've taken it again. If you've read this far, thank you for reading and consider sending your kid somewhere else. And to Coach Eddie who will probably reply, be better.
Thank you coach Al's driving school. The best school in New Mexico. Not only are you great instructors but you make the learning fun. You made my daughter feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. Definitely will be sending my other daughter to Al' driving school next year. Thank you coach Al, Eddie, and Gary for being the best instructors in New Mexico. Definitely deserves more than 5 stars.

Mr. Eric is a 5 star instructor. Great person easy to talk to and made the whole process easy. 10 out of 10 highly recommended.
I have had my two oldest kids now graduate from Achievement driving school. They have learned and passed. I recommend this place, they will become strong confidence drivers.
As a parent and working mom, I can say I appreciate how they conduct business. The classes are at times that I can easily get my daughter to and the cost is more reasonable than others in the area. They have a good selection of cute cars and work well with teens. I'm pleased with the driver education my daughter is receiving here and recommend them to anyone looking.
Very engaging class! Instructor was kind and respectful of each individual in the class and overall made this a good learning experience. Hope to not have to take the class again but I will say I did not have a bad experience despite the reasoning I had to take this class.

Affordable to say the least, teacher's are experienced and reasonable. They acutely prepare beginners for the dangers, law, and safety precautions of driving. Even though they are excellent teachers organization seems to not be a priority. Waiting for several hours in an empty waiting room to take a test on a computer that isn't being used, and then being told to come back tomorrow is a time waster and incredibly inconvenient for students and their parents.
Very professional and they give you options on how to pay.

Turners is awesome I went today to get all three tests done and got my license all in the same day! For a reasonable price and they make the process way more easier and faster then the mvd i totally recommend going to turners for sure!
It was awesome! It was really short notice I wasnt expecting to be able to walk in and get my tests done in a matter of literally less than 45 min. For the road and written tests. I feel like they really did everything in their power to help me pass too

This place is a scam do not bring your kids here you will be ripped off. The owner likes to harass you if you question anything especially all the hidden fees. The owner Alfred is a rude and made my child feel uncomfortable. There were hidden fees after hidden fees. We will Definitely be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
The school has a very comfortable and welcoming feel to it. I have learned a lot about driving and improved techniques. The instructors are very nice and supportive. There's a lot of help when its needed and the instructors always worked with me. I am happy i attended this amazing school!!

I was afraid to learn how to drive, but this driver's ed program made it very easy and confrontable. The instructors there were great, and my driving improved greatly, at a speed I was comfortable with. I got my license yesterday and there was no hassle or problem.
Spent a lot of money and time enrolling my son in this course and then they ghosted us before completing the in car training. At this point it’s been almost a year since we completed the in class instruction and David assured us we could text him and get the in car training arranged. Since then nobody at LTD driving school has responded to ANY form of communication. The best you’ll get out of them is an automatic reply out of a full voicemail. 2024 and still no word from these guys. Light your money on fire, you’ll have a better outcome.
I do not recommend this place they don’t care about teaching the kids anything or helping them they just care about the money, they are so rude to the kids have no respect and when I was there this one teacher was so childish talking about someone’s parent. I do not recommend
I will never recommend LTD to anyone! When I was in High School, LTD was the only place to go. As an adult who now has a teenage driver, I chose LTD as they have been around the longest. I wish I would have known better. David is extremely rude, unprofessional, and does not know how to run a business. Thankfully, there are a couple of instructors here that made our experience a little less miserable. Who I will recommend however, is New Start Driving School. They are friendly, helpful, AND they answer their phone! Extremely disappointed with our overall experience with LTD.
There's a guy there named David. Kinda intolerant and rude. Teachers need to be patient. Honestly, they're lacking professionalism. It doesn't matter what it is... Maybe I don't know where something is, or something silly like that. I'm sorry einstein but I dont know everything right off the bat! You wouldn't like it if rolled my eyes at you! So childish.

Jose has SEVERE anger issues, he is always so rude to my daughter for no reason and even rolls his eyes at us whenever I come to schedule a drive time since they don’t answer the phone they tell you to call. Yes I understand you’re on a time crunch, but there is no need to be so rude to your customers who are keeping you in business. Thank you, next.
Owners have anger issues and do not know how to work with kids. Every former student I’ve talked to has shared awful experiences. They will probably reply to this review with some made up excuse to try and defend themselves.
They have been wonderful at teaching our girls to be Road ready. I feel my girls are in safe hands and hearing great tips as they drive. The vehicles have brakes on the passenger side for safety. 4 stars because response time to messages and email needs to be better. I find it easier to go in and talk in person. Overall, I am so glad I took my new drivers to Duke City Driver Education. Thanks, guys!
I try to refrain from leaving 1 star reviews. Especially when there are already so many... Alas, I believe that this review is necessary. Very poorly run business. It was nearly impossible to schedule driving times. The school cancelled 3 driving times and never rescheduled them. They will not answer the phone, texts or e-mail. When they finally did respond to us, it was only to tell us that we would have to pay another $180, cause the hours were not completed in a certain time frame. My daughter told me about how rude the staff was, but I thought she was just "being dramatic", but their responses to other reviews show how horribly this company conducts business. I can't wait to see the response to this review and see how this whole situation was mine and my daughters fault. I will never do business with Duke City Driving School again.
We had a great experience with Duke City. My kids enjoyed learning to drive with Lisa and Jose! They are instructors who know how to capture their students attention through.the showing of videos as well as classroom activities. Lisa and Jose really care about what they teach and I saw how important it was to them that the students learned the material well. Learning to drive is not only a privilege but a serious life skill that requires serious learning and attention. I felt that my kids received quality driving instruction here that will carry them throughout their lives. I would highly recommend Duke City Driving.

I would not give this place not even ONE star! I took my daughter there for her road test and Mr. Mcginnis literally made her cry. He is rude and condescending. He questioned my ability as well in teaching our daughter how to drive and my ability to correct her. Parents do NOT take your kids there! Go somewhere that actually cares about our young new drivers! I am shocked and horrified that MVD actually sent us to these horrible, creepy, unprofessional people!
Believe all the bad reviews. If you suffer from test anxiety definitely avoid this place. Owner and his wife are extremely rude and condescending. I would really appreciate it if the owner doesnt reply to my review. If you read the other replys he has left to reviews you can see that he likes to disclose peoples private information and argue with them rather than providing good customer service. I am grateful for this experience because it reminded me to check reviews before trying someplace new.

McGinnis was very inappropriate and awful i don't recommend anyone going here to learn to drive because he is disgusting and disrespectful to people.
McGinnis is the only place for anyone to take classes to prepare to get their driver's license. I took classes in 1976 when I was a teenager. I was 14 and 9 months when I completed my program and got my driver's license. Still remember what I was taught.
