Ana, Elsa, and the entire North Ave Driving School team are truly amazing! My son felt much more confident after we switched to them following an unsuccessful road test with another driving school. Leo was very patient, calm, knowledgeable and encouraging. He really knows what he’s doing. His method of teaching was very clear, easy to learn and beginner friendly. Would 100% recommend!
I'm rewriting a review from when I first got my license in 2022, being more aware of my experience. My experience with Ron was awful. He has little to no patience, insulted me during lessons, and his overall attitude made driving more stressful than it needed to be. To make things worse, he blasted obnoxious music while I was behind the wheel, which only heightened my anxiety. The only reason I passed my driving test was because it was a short ride around the block, not because of anything I learned from Ron. His lack of proper instruction actually made me less prepared. Unfortunately, I stuck with him only because I had already paid, but looking back, I wish I hadn’t. Ron is unprofessional, rude, and clearly in the wrong line of work. If you’re considering driving lessons, do yourself a favor and avoid him at all costs. I can't speak for the other employees here but I wouldn't be surprised if they all have the same attitude.
If I could relive this experience with my daughter, I would! I signed my daughter up for driving lessons and we were blessed to get Mr. Ron as her driving instructor. From day one she felt comfortable with him which in turn made me feel comfortable. Communication and professionalism were on point!! We did the usual 6 hours but did a few more lessons months later leading up to her road test. Did a lesson right before her road test and used Mr. Ron’s car for the exam. He prepped her, walked her through what to expect and guess what? She passed her road test!!! He and I were watching from the sidelines. She was so excited to pass her road test and she couldn’t have done it without Mr. Ron! I’ll be forever grateful to have had Mr. Ron as the instructor and would highly recommend Braga’s Driving School. If you get the opportunity, have Mr. Ron as the instructor…you won’t regret it!
Leo is the epitome of professionalism. He was able to teach my daughter parallel parking in just one session, Even after I attempted multiple times. He is very calm and punctual. My daughter went in to take her road test feeling extremely confident. He was with us throughout the entire process and I plan on using Braga’s again for my other children.
I took lessons here with Leo and he was absolutely amazing! I was extremely nervous but he was very patient and made me feel very prepared for my road test which I passed on my first try. His car is a great size to drive in, not too big, not too small. I felt safe the entire time. I'm so grateful and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable driving school in New Jersey.

This driving school was amazing. The receptionist had great customer service and scheduling for classes was very easy. The prices are so affordable compared to other driving schools. The instructors I experienced Eddie, Leo, and Joshua were all awesome. I learned everything I needed to know for my road test and passed. It is a great driving school. I enrolled with them for 4hrs class. The instructor (Chris) was awesome. They designed a well planned course for me based on the initial class. Chris helped me to master the skills( turning, parking, and other) to pass the road test. They were also professional in managing the classes and informing before the day of class and road test for slot confirmation. Highly recommendable for driving class.

Chokri is a great driving teacher. He is patient and encouraging, which helped me as a first time driver. Chokri taught me everything I needed to know for the road test and some practical exercises for everyday driving. Office staff were very communicative and polite. Great experience.
I had a very concerning experience during a driving lesson with Instructor Chokri in Jersey City, NJ on October 9, 2025, from 10:20 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Throughout the lesson, the instructor was distracted, using his cellphone to watch videos and not paying attention to my driving. As a learner’s permit holder with no prior experience, I felt unsafe and unsupported. The instructor also gave unclear directions while driving in traffic, which caused confusion and increased risk. This behavior was unprofessional and unsafe, and I do not feel it reflects the standards one should expect from a driving school. I hope the school takes this complaint seriously and addresses these issues to ensure the safety of future students.
I was a previous driver . I took one class with Safe Roads and the instructor - Mr. Chokri was a great teacher and he showed me everything I needed for the road test . He is a very funny and jolly person. I passed the test with easy using his taught technique and tips.
Took 2-3 lessons and passed the road test on the first try! Moses & Chokri are both amazing instructors! They’re patient and knowledgeable. Chokri took me to the Lodi testing center and on the way there he spoke and made jokes which put my nerves to ease! The communication from the safe roads driving team is overall transparent & the prices are fair. If you want to pass your road test on the first try this team is your to go to!
I was very happy with the service. The instructor( Chokri) picked me and dropped me off at my place after the road test. He made sure that he told me all the tips I needed for me to pass the test. I recommend this driving school as they put in everything to make you pass. I went through the test in confidence and passed at once.

I just passed my drivers test the other day and I can confidently say it was because of SJDS. Every one of my instructors was kind and friendly. Through each 2 hour session, with 3 different instructors, I had friendly conversation and kind guidance. They offered lots of helpful advice and I learned things that drivers ed in school did not teach. Minutes before my road test the instructor who drove with me helped me incredibly by giving me some last minute (very helpful) information and tips for parallel parking, which was what I was nervous about. I would recommend South Jersey Driving School to anyone looking for a quality driving school for their teens.

I just passed my road test because of Pepe Driving School. They teach everything you have to do for the test and more. They answer all your questions clearly and really work with you. I had 4-5 lessons and in a span of 3 straight lessons I learned how to parallel park and how to do a K turn. I had two instructors, Hector and Alexis, who taught me everything I needed to know and more. I could t have passed my test without them. Great school and instructors. Highly recommend!

Kabhy is literally the best instructor yet. I learnt how to parallel park within 20mins and i never did it before. That same day i had my drivers test and i passed with flying colors. My driving inspector said it was perfect and that he didn't have to take me out to the road. I am forever thankful for kabhy she really is the best. Anyone who gets here is most guaranteed to pass.

I practiced driving for the first time with an actual instructor the morning of my test. I passed! Vanessa is calm and so nice at all times. Divinci my guy, he had helped me prepare for my test. Also handled and carried himself professionally. He taught me how to be patient and without him I definitely wouldn’t be driving with the caution and confidence i have today.

We are extremely happy with the service we received from All Jersey. My daughter did her six hours with Instructor Mark in March and he was so professional and patient. She was very confident by the third day . When it was her road test, we met Kristen already waiting for her with the car .She really boosted her confidence before the test. We have one happy new driver on the road .Our almost 16 year old son will definitely be using them . Thank you .

All Jersey Driving School is an amazing place. They were patient and kind. I had David as my instructor he was a great, told me everything I needed to know in a kind fashion and I caught on quickly. He’s very knowledgeable, the lessons were informative and he has given me the confidence to drive, and drive well. Check out Yelp reviews before making a decision If it was possible to give negative stars i would. They start out so nice and seem like a great place to be. I paid half up front the other half due at the second lesson. I didn't remember her telling me it had to be in cash, so she sent me an email saying she tried to call me. My number was put in wrong, so i sent an email back saying i was at work, can i please have whichever number you need me to call to make the payment, also sent my correct phone number. No response. She did have my son's correct number they could have called. That was on a Friday. Sunday comes i get an email saying his Monday lesson was cancelled. I sent an email, telling her i had the cash and would give it to them when they came. She told me when it was paid my son would be rescheduled and oh by the way we are scheduling into end of April. She was very rude with me the whole time, told me to stop messaging them, that when i paid it she would schedule him. (But over a month away) I contacted another school, to go there. She then refused to give me my son's birth certificate saying she can hold it until i pay everything in full. When i tried to explain my emails were not answered on Friday, she said "Google it's a wonderful concept" telling me i could have found the number there. I asked about what specific number she wanted me to call because i had multiple different numbers i was contacted from, and being at work didn't have time to call them all. All in all Lori is the most rude person I ever had to deal with, which is sad because she started out so sweet and i had high hopes. Only positive is my son said his instructor was very nice and he liked him, but that's no way for an owner of a company to talk to someone. Picture below is only part of how nasty she was. I'm just reapplying for a new birth certificate. Whatever you do find a different driving school.
I just want to say how Collette made me and my son’s day!! Today was his birthday and his test was scheduled for 8:20. The driving school that we dealt with was supposed to pick him up at 7:30 to take him out prior to his test. Well they never showed!! My son was devastated. We decided to just drive to the DMV and I approached Collette and asked about their services. She offered to take him for a refresher and let him use her car for the test. He passed!!! I’ve never seen my son so excited! Thank you All Jersey Driving School and thank you Collette for saving the day!

Signed my son up for Matrix driving school so that he could get his 6 hours behind the wheel for his permit. Guy was his instructor and he was very friendly, flexible with schedule, and knowledgeable about the whole process. My son said he was very patient and made him feel at ease while driving and that he taught him a lot. Price was more than reasonable too. I have and would recommend this school to anyone who needs a good, thorough driving instructor for whatever the reason.

I took one driving lesson and also took my road test exam with Zachary’s Driving School and even in the short amount of time that I spent with Zach, it was great experience. Zach is a great driving teacher. My wife and I took driving lessons with him and we are both very satisfied with his lessons. He really cares about his students and he provides honest feedback to us. He will assess your driving skill at the start and from there, he will estimate how long it will take you to be ready for the road test. If you follow his guidance carefully and use his car for your road test, you should have no problem passing the test at first attempt. Both my wife and I passed at 1st try. Zachary driving school is one of the best driving schools in NJ. I was very nervous when I took my first driving lesson with the instructor Zach but I must say that he genuinely great. He helped me to slowly pick up and also boosted my confidence while on road. He shared special tricks and many safety tips required to be a good driver. He could understand my weaknesses/mistakes and offered targeted practice to improve them. With two lessons, I saw a massive improvement in my driving skills. He is friendly, patient and polite. The car was nice and clean. The price was fine too. Thus, it was a very good experience in all. I strongly recommend this driving school looking to practice driving :)

Absolutely loved the whole process with setting my son up with Lenny's driving school. Victoria and Lenny were great to work with and were great with communication. The best!!!!! Both of my daughters used Lenny’s Driving School for practice and road test. One passed on the first try about 2 years ago and the other took her test and passed on the first try just a couple of months ago. If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. My first class went fine, but everything after that was an absolute disaster. When I booked my second class, I told the staff — an Indian woman — clearly and repeatedly that I was only available between 1PM and 3PM. She kept pushing 11AM to 1PM despite me saying NO multiple times. She eventually seemed to agree to 1–3PM, but never sent a confirmation, so I called again later that day. This time, a young man answered — and again asked if I could do 11–1. I repeated myself: NO. Then the day of the appointment comes… and what happens? The instructor shows up at 11AM anyway. I told him there was clearly a mistake and that my class was supposed to be at 1PM. Then the same woman called me and had the audacity to yell at me, trying to bully me into accepting the 11AM slot that I had already rejected multiple times. Out of respect for the instructor, I went through with the class — but my whole day was thrown off because of their incompetence. This place clearly doesn’t respect your time, doesn’t listen, and has no clue how to communicate professionally. AVOID THIS SCHOOL AT ALL COST.
I passed my road test thanks to JIMMY very quickly. Has has been great, friendly and patient during all my lessons. He is a great instructor. I recommend this driving school a lot. All the staff is friendly and made it easy for me.
Don’t think twice and go with Falcon, and ask for Jimmy! I’m so glad I followed the reviews and went with him. He is on time, super thorough with instructions, and his 3-step to parallel parking will let you nail it every single time. He’s also not just focused on making you pass, but also want to make sure you can drive safely after you pass - so he will also give you tips on how to drive in town, which was super helpful. On my day of the test, I was picked up by another instructor Dino - he was great too! On time, and he gave me a lot of valuable tips on the DMV venue, the test itself. You can’t go wrong with either of these guys! I did the package deal (3 classes and pick up on day of test- this was reasonable price, and each class is 1hr 45mins I think. I suggest doing early in the mornings so there’s less cars out)
Just passed my road test in Lodi. I had specifically asked for Jimmy when scheduling my classes as this centre, based on all the reviews I saw. And I was glad I did. He explained the "why" behind all his instructions. And mainly, he not just taught me how to park but also made me practise fixing it. We simulated different scenarios of incorrect parking and learnt how to fix it. This practise is what helped me pass my test. I took class with some other instructor as well, who was not good. But I can vouch for Jimmy! :)

I just finished my 6 hours and got my permit. My driving instructor was Celeste and I absolutely loved her. She taught me so much in only 6 hours. Parallel parking, K turns, and driving on faster and tougher roads. And while she did that she made me feel super comfortable by walking me through everything and giving me a hand of assistance when I needed it , I had an amazing experience here, and I would recommend to everyone!!
I passed my road test after lessons with Celeste. What's unique about her, is that she taught me how to parallel park in just a few steps. She simplifies parts of driving that can seem intimidating. She gets to know her students and seems to tailor the driving lessons to meet the students' unique challenges around driving. I felt calm and confident with Celeste as my instructor, and I learned later in life. It's never too late.
My daughter experienced the 10 hour driver’s course and she was glad the decision was made to have a professional instructor to facilitate this experience. Celeste was the Instructor and a Great Instructor, by the way. My daughter would have liked more time as she was comfortable and looked forward to Celeste as her co-driver. She also received good lessons from Scott on one of the sessions. Now we are just awaiting the road test!

Well for starters if your looking to pass your road test then ideal driving school located in Elizabeth New Jersey is the right place to go. With only 3 classes , 2 hours long , and priced roughly about $320 was well worth it. When I first arrived at the school I was greeted with open arms and the lady at the desk gave me the best options and suggestions to me to make the classes go smoothly. My driver instructor was very friendly to the point were I was comfortable with him and I could trust him. He helped me with everything I needed and for that I thank him. Overall I passed my road test earlier today and I thank ideal driving school for that.
HAIRO is the best driving instructor!!!!!!!!! I passed my road test on the third try thanks to him. He makes you feel very confident behind the wheel. This is a great school for beginners.

Sorry for late review but I'm here. Ok so I've been to every bus companies..name it I've been there and I would always walk away. Instuctors talk down on you or way too cocky or not PROFESSIONAL. Then I decided to PAY for my lessons and get my 1 on 1 lessons. Every penny was will worth it! I finally received my airbrakes endorsement on 5/6/22. I couldn't have done it without "Jay" aka Harlem. Then a woman instructor Margarita ..1 of a kind nothing but patience and being a woman I felt so comfortable with her. Thank you Ideal!!

My son had his second appt scheduled for1030. The instructor Robert never showed up. At 2PM I called him and asked what happened, he said he called and no one answered, he called from an unknown number so didn't answer the call, but my son called his number 3 times and he never answered. He said he calls first before coming, i said what the point of scheduling an appointment then. ROBERT was ignorant saying he just doesn't show up because what if people have a stick up guy waiting for him.
My son was nervous about driving but as soon as he met his instructor he absolutely loved the patience he had w/ my son After just 3 lessons my son passed the test & got his license We loved his Teaching Abilities We would recommend him forever & always to any new driver !!

I typically don’t post reviews BUT….this man has been nothing short of amazing to my son. For starters DMV messed up on his permit he told us how to go about getting it fixed. Soon as it was fixed he came right out and took my son driving, gave him extra time, and took made him feel comfortable behind the wheel. It didn’t stop there…he came the next day worked with us and encouraged my son prior to taking the driven test. Needless to say I been working with my son for months and was so frustrated. 5 stars still don’t do justice to and his teaching style! He is literally the best teacher you can trust with teaching you driving. I have been to many schools in India to learn and one here before as well with no success but in one class with Magdy, I could drive! The way he teaches you parallel parking, real life road driving and makes you feel accountable and comfortable at the wheel is extraordinary! In addition to being one of the best teachers I have come across, he also is a great human being! Amazing to talk to, extremely professional, patient and gives you customized lessons based on what you are lacking in. Do yourself a favor and if you want to learn how to drive, just call Magdy! :D
I would give zero stars if I had the option. They don't know what they are doing. My son has been calling for two months to schedule to take him to his road test; Mina the man that answers the phone kept telling him it's too early call back. He told him three times. Now my son called this weekend; mind you his test is on the 17th and now says they are booked. I asked to speak to his manager but he didn't want to hear me out and hung up and then stopped taking my call. Very unprofessional. Will never use them again or let anyone close to me use them.
Amazing guy to learn driving from. He is very very patient and will not yell. Just will tell you what you did wrong, and practice your weak points (mine was turning). He charges a little extra than most places ($40/h) but most places you get horrible instructors that yell their head off at you so he is worth the money. Will give you the full time, so if you got picked up at 1:15 he will give you exactly to 2:15.
I scheduled a lesson for my daughter and what I was told from my daughter really left me feeling upset. The instructor had a really bad attitude from the moment he picked up my daughter. He was very unprofessional & I am so extremely disappointed & dissatisfied with the lesson my daughter received today. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
I took 5 classes as I was starting from scratch. But he really taught me well. He told me exactly how the test at Wayne is going to be. The way he teaches parallel parking is really good. He makes it easy and I was able to park perfectly in one shot at the test. All in all worth it.

Great experience , Dave is a really good instructor (very patient) . Well worth the money - my daughter passed with no issues whatsoever . Highly recommend.
My friend wanted to do her first driving class here and was forcibly removed from their schedule literal minutes before her class, because this company failed to tell her that they only accept cash. what is this? the 1800s?? she gave plenty of options such as zelle or even stopping at the atm and just pushing the class back a few minutes since she would have to uber to both places. i would think they’d understand the struggle since they obviously knows she can’t drive just yet, but all understanding and compassion were thrown out the window, as they only served as a bigger hurdle in her dream of getting her license. I will NEVER recommend this place to any of my family members or friends, as we are apart of a large youthful community with many driving prospects. i hope your business withers to nothing. God bless you, cuz He’s better than me.

I had an appointment scheduled for Friday and the instructor Bob came to my home three days early on Tuesday. The instructor Bob had an attitude towards me over the phone. It was completely unacceptable and unprofessional, considering it was the company’s mistake.
My family's experience with this school was pretty bad. With my three 16-year-olds, the (different) instructors always cut the lessons short, so we only got at best 4.5-5 hours out of 6 paid. When we were getting ready for our trip to Europe, my husband took manual shift lessons with the school. Upon renting a car in Europe, it became clear that the only thing the instructor cared about was the car not being abused by a novice manual shift driver, so he didn't teach my husband pretty much anything. For example, they only drove where there wasn't any need to stop or change gears, which are essential skills for manual shift driving, and my husband didn't have a chance to practice them.
My mom used Echelon Driving School for me, and I just used them fo my daughter. Joan was super nice, and patient with my daughter. She showed up at all the agreed days and times. I definitely would use them again if I had more children, and I'll definitely refer them to friends and family.
My son had a scheduled pick up for 7-8 no show. No one called at all. This is bad busy my son was so excited to be finally going out to learn. I had to let him know it wasn't happening. Why be in business if you don't want to do your job. I won't recommend this company to anyone. DON'T DO IT. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Watched an instructor almost hit my car because they weren’t paying attention merging into rt 38 from 295 without LOOKING no signal nothing, holding their phone driving on a call used 0 turn signals from rt 38 into the centerton plaza the entire time driving incredibly reckless Thank god nobody was in the car but the instructor but they absolutely should NOT be teaching children drive if this is how you act without anyone in the car in a company car no less!

Instructors are nasty and late. They don’t treat the students with respect and they yell at the students. Garbage
Would not recommend trust me. You pay for practice and they basically want to tell you what to do.. get some instructors with sense.

Best decision I could have made. It is very affordable and works with you about times and days, very flexible. Hossam, the instructor was professional, patient, taught me each step and made sure I understood what he was saying. And that made feel more confident about my driving. I only took one class & he covered everything I needed. I passed at the first time. Great experience, I highly recommend it.
the teacher hassan badawy was so amazing I recommend everyone who needs a teacher to be taught by him. he is a very very sweet person who will sit there and explain throughly how to do certain things and help you pass your drivers test on first try. he makes sure to take time and make you feel comfortable driving and get used to being on the street.
