Mike’s driving school helped me pass my exam on the first try. The instructor Johnny was very nice and patient. Both of them helped me park and do my turns smooth to make me prepared for my test. The packages are worth every penny and I recommend them highly.
Mike and Moses were the absolute best instructors! They were so patient and kind in their teaching, and they set up you up for success. I would definitely recommend them to anyone as they prioritize safety. I wouldn’t be able to pass my test without them. A big thanks to them for all of their help!

Great driving teacher! Really easy to work with and very thorough with everything. Learn the controls of the car and where they're located. Very good way of teaching parallel parking! I do it perfectly now after learning from him. Also passed my driver's test first try so definitely recommended!!
My son driving instructor was Kris. He help Logan so much learning the rules of the road. He taught Logan everything he needs to know. Had so much patience with him as also. My husband and I are so grateful that he had a great instructor. My husband and I didn’t have the time or patience to teach Logan everything he needs to know about driving. He took Logan down to his driving test and gave him a lesson before that. Logan really enjoyed learning from him. I definitely will be reaching out again with my other son gets his permit.
The McCracken Driving School is outstanding in both customer service and one-on-one, on-the-road driving lessons! Mr. Scott McCracken was my middle school earth sciences teacher, and I decided to avail of his services when the time was right. He is a highly trained and experienced professional who graduated from Westminster College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and from California University of Pennsylvania with a masters degree in education. In addition, he is certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education as a driver education instructor, elementary education teacher, and mid-level science teacher. He is the epitome of a good teacher in the way he combines expertise with patience. From his excellent ability to connect and communicate, you gain a better understanding of the driving concepts and what the next steps should be. Mr. McCracken takes his time to explain various maneuvers and rules. I highly recommend the McCracken Driving School to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and patient instructor!

Bob did a fabulous job teaching our daughter to drive. He taught her how to parallel park on her first lesson which was incredible. He was patient and taught her everything she needed to know to be a safe driver. Rogers had flexible hours which helped with our schedule. I would recommend to anyone.

I just passed my driving test here at Cindy Cohen School of driving and I have so many good things to share for prospective students.. First, all the staff members are highly professional. The driving course I took had regular charges and I was not aware of that but as I had completed a full driving course out of state they offered me a discount that I believe really shows how professional they are! Additionally during my pre test driving lesson, Ms. Rubin was empathetic and helped me significantly calm my anxiety/nerves and even went beyond alloted driving practice time to making sure I get a hold of the testing maneuvers. They driving examiner (I am sorry for having forgotten their name in the excitment of everything) was also super kind and professional. I highly recommend this institute to everyone thinking about it.
I highly recommend them. They're all very polite, patient, kind, and helpful. Besides teaching you every detail about the test, they also explain the reasons for each detail so you understand, not just memorize it. They also always remind you not to rush, which was the case in my day, asking if you needed to drink water, go to the bathroom, breathe, or take a break. They're incredibly compassionate and caring. We're not just clients, we're people who deserve the best treatment. Being able to take classes and the test on the same day and place is a huge advantage, and combined with this wonderful treatment, I can't help but recommend them. It was worth every penny.
Mr. Eric is an outstanding driving instructor. He’s a true expert who notices every small detail—mirror checks, lane positioning, speed control, signaling, and parking angles—and explains the “why” behind each correction. His lessons were structured, calm, and confidence-building, with mock tests that mirrored the real exam. He patiently fixed my bad habits, turned complex maneuvers into simple steps, and kept safety at the center of everything. Thanks to his guidance, I passed my driving test and feel ready for any road situation. If you want to pass with confidence and become a genuinely safe driver, choose Mr. Eric. 5/5—highly recommended!

My experience was quite disappointing. Their website claims, “We instruct with a smile on our faces,” but that was far from reality. Throughout my lesson, the instructor was consistently rude—frequently yelling at me and creating unnecessary pressure, which left me feeling extremely anxious before the test. During the driving test, I followed almost everything I had been taught, yet I lost a significant number of points for relatively minor mistakes. This led to a failing result and a recommendation to take additional lessons. Charging $200 for a single driving test is excessive, especially without offering a second chance to students who perform reasonably well. Overall, I do not recommend this school, particularly for international drivers.

Very great instructor. Took his time with me and was very patient with me. I took a class with him on Monday, was supposed to take my test Monday but the school shut down and I had to wait a week and Mr. Ken took me to take it today and I passed on my first try and got my license , he gives you everything you need to get your license and get on the road. It was such an amazing and revolutionary experience to learn driving in the crazy place like allentown from some one who is so dedicated and composed towards developing and conditioning drivers for smooth and healthy driving with complete comprehension of safety and road sense under the auspices of driving manuals. I think AW school and its trainers are brilliant and very friendly towards learners but my trainers Sasha is one of a very special kind , she made me feel literally very friendly during all my driving lessons though she is very tough and objective towards teaching us how to drive and because of that sweet and blossoming lessons in summer finally I got my license .
I had a great experience with AW trucking school. My instructor AJ was a great guy and made my experience better with his patience and encouragement to push me to be a better, safer driver. I am very happy I chose AW Trucking School to get my training from. Through this school I was able to have the confidence to land a job driving truck before I even graduated. Tom was SO amazing to work with! I only took a 2 hour course but afterwards I noticed a huge difference and felt so much more confident! He taught me so much and put me in a perfect position to pass my test with a perfect score! Patrick was also a super nice test instructor! Definitely worth the money.

Very impressed with Transportation Solutions. We’ve had a very busy, overwhelming summer and they were very accommodating when scheduling for my daughter. Her permit was close to expiring and they caught it and called with alternate dates. All employees we encountered were very kind and my daughter learned so much(way better than I could have taught her!).
It’s important to note that the driving experts here are able to provide additional perspective and therefore, quicker assistance in pinpointing issues for a learning driver. For instance, my son was struggling with making turns. He seemed to be doing everything correctly for the process, and I had no more advice to offer other than to go slow, at his own pace. After his first lesson, the instructor notified me they worked on his steering wheel control--something I hadn’t thought of! I am grateful for the instructor’s ability to identify the setback and help my son fine-tune his driving skills!
Both of my daughters went through the program at Transportation Solutions - we did the 6 hours of instruction and then the drivers test. We are completely satisfied, and highly recommend them! The instructors were all kind and knowledgeable, and provided valuable feedback. Having someone impartial to reinforce safety concepts is invaluable. Thank you, Transportation Solutions!

I had a great experience at Global CDL Driver training school! The instructors are very knowledgeable, patient, and always willing to help. I can not thank Global enough for assisting me in obtaining my Class A license. I upgraded from a class B with P and S endorsements so l was challenged mentally switching my mind from my box truck to the semi. Each instructor took their time to assist me and not only that Mr Dave went above and beyond to help me achieve my goal. Everyone was so encouraging even when l failed Davie would say “ Dawn l believe in you” daily and uplifted me. Every staff member went out their way to make sure l was prepared and on my final attempt l basically had a perfect score in my air brake /pretrip and basic skills sections on my test. I had a great experience with Cantor’s Driving School, and I highly recommend them to anyone learning to drive. The entire process—from scheduling lessons to getting ready for the driving test—was smooth and professional. A special shout-out to my instructor, Dan, who was absolutely fantastic. My son got so much from his driving lessons. He learned the basics of how to drive and received hands on training that made him feel more confident when he was driving. During the test, the examiner immediately put him at ease which was a blessing considering the typical jitters a teen gets when they take the test. They taught me the quickest and easiest way to parallel park... I had only practiced like ten time and got it perfect on my test! They also were super flexible with their lessons when finding out I had driving experience and geared the lesson more towards what I wanted to go over!
I was able to learn the basics through a great instructor (Shout out Mark) who taught everything i needed to know for the driving test. I also ran my test through Johns Driving School where my instructor was amazing and the people gave a great experience.
After having 3 kids go through John's for the driving test and all 3 passing, I must say it well worth the $150.00 bucks, the staff was very professional and patient with each child. They answered all questions and since we used their car they went over all the controls and made sure they were comfortable with them. They stated that the camera card would arrive in 2 to 3 weeks, it arrived in about a week. Highly recommend using them instead of going to the DMV.

We had a very good experience with Petaccio's Driving school. The instructors were all very friendly and encouraging for our son. The goals were clear and followed as stated. Every lesson was on time and my son had nothing but great things to say after each lesson. He passed his driving test with no problems and we really feel the lessons have and will continue to pay off as he is now set to drive on his own. We're so glad we went to Blue Bell Driving School to finish up our son's driving education. We really wanted an experienced instructor and the safety features of their cars to introduce driving on highways and major roadways. I had a really great experience with Brad’s Driving School. Brad is great with helping you build confidence on the road and making you feel comfortable. He has great teaching techniques that are helpful and easy to understand and he is also patient, funny and understanding which helps with a student’s nervousness on the road. I highly recommend!
Brad was great. I needed to get a US license fast and I was able to schedule a lesson with Brad super quickly, other schools weren't available for weeks. Plus his prices were much better than the others. He gave me super useful tips for the test and he had a great trick for perfect parallel parking. I passed my test on the first try.
Brad is an absolute gem! He gives clear instructions explaining complex concepts in an understandable manner. I have never had such a calm and fun learning experience ever before! Hello everyone! Today I got my CDL from the first try! I attended school 13 times it took me around 17 calendar days and today I got my CDL. School had unlimited learning time so I was there from the morning to like 4:30pm. Their pre trip inspection is just 2 sheets (4 pages) Trainers are good people and are not rude. I especially recommend the school for Russian-speaking people. Wish ya all success on the exam😁

We have used Sean twice now… once for our son and recently for our daughter. We wouldn’t trust anyone else to give them lessons. He is so calming, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He was reliable and worked with us to make the lessons fit into our schedule. I would recommend him to everyone who has a teenager learning to drive!
Sean was an amazing instructor. He was patient and went over all the particulars of the final exam with our daughter. They had three, two hour lessons and she came home more confident each time. The day of her test Sean gave us all the information we required and arranged for the exam. It was all very effortless. Needless to say she passed with no difficulties. I had the best time learning with this driving school and passed my test on my first try. I worked with Angel for the most part but also Angelo for one of my lessons and they were both great. My experience with A-Plus driving was nothing but positive. I came in unsure of my driving ability, but Mr. Sterkenberg reinforced good habits and helped me break bad habits I had formed. I had never driven on the highway before our first lesson, but thanks to Mr. Sterkenberg's guidance I am now very confident in this area. We also practiced the driver's test multiple times before I actually took it, so I was well-equipped and passed without an issue. I now feel confident driving, and still draw on principles that we discussed and practiced in my lessons. Mr. Sterkenberg was awesome to work with, and I always looked forward to our lessons because I knew we would have great conversations. I would recommend A-Plus Driving to anyone.

I had a great experience with Mr.Iqbal. I failed my driving test twice so I decided to go to a driving school. This is one of the best decisions I have made. He had patience as well as reasonable prices. I was able to get my license within the same month that he became my driving instructor.

I took 6-7 lessons with Mr. Iqbal over the course of two months and got my license on my first try. They charged significantly less than other driving schools and still take their time to make you a good driver and ensure you pass your license test. Great school, highly recommend!

Neil is such a nice man. Focoused on all aspects of driving and not ones you just need to work on. Takes his time with teaching and will not rush anything if your not ready. My instructor was Marc J. Richman. He was super sweet, personable, and calm when I was behind the wheel making many mistakes as a new driver. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor. With only 3 lessons, each 2 hours, I went from a nervous driver to one with MUCH more confidence and skill. Marc went out of his way by spending more than 2 hours during our last lesson teaching me how to parallel park. And of course, because of him, I passed. This is a great driving school! You can tell the people truly believe in you and want you to succeed.
I took my driver's license test using John's Car. As soon as I reached I was greeted very nicely and shown me to the car I will be using. The lady showed me all the controls. The instructor was amazing and very clear with directions and very nice guy. The compound for the testing was really good with good routes and proper testing. Overall my experience was great. I have recommended John's Driving School to my friends as well and not just for test but for lessons too.

I am so happy I came to John’s Driving School to do my driving test! Before coming, I had failed 3 road test at PennDot, I was very upset because I knew I could drive, I was just unlucky I did my test with an examiner (at PennDot) that wasn’t friendly and was really bad at giving directions… I didn’t want to wait another month to schedule an appointment with PennDot, so I decided to explore options and I’m so grateful I found John’s DS! I was able to schedule an appointment in just 2 days!! BEST DECISION EVER! and let me tell you, what a difference, the location very convenient, my examiner was extremely nice and very professional, I did my first road test and passed! the examiner was very clear with instructions from the very beginning, also he made me feel very secure while I was driving, something that never happened at PennDot. For anyone who’s thinking or looking for options to do driving test or even taking driving classes, I 100% recommend John’s Driving School, they are the best and once again I feel so happy and satisfied with the full experience they provided.

Triple A school helped me understand how to drive a manual truck so I could get my E restriction removed from my CDL license. Yves helped me with the concept of shifting which gave me the confidence I needed to pass my test.
This school works well with anyone’s schedule. The people here actually go above and beyond to make sure you pass and know everything to move on. It was an amazing experience to be here and I enjoyed the process. Thnx AAA SoT.
My husband went to this school. He said that the classroom doesn’t fully prepare you for your test and you should print the manual from penndot because you can learn just as much and more. When it was time to go to the yard, which was supposed to be 4 weeks and ending up being 3 months, you waste so much time sitting in your car. They prioritize the water department on the trucks. You wait weeks to get a turn to drive the truck because they bring new people every week and new water department workers every week. There is not enough instructors. They have 2 working trucks and 1 stays in the lanes for the water department so you have 20 people trying to learn on 1 truck. When they do get around to showing you something, the instructors seem to work against each other and you get different feedback each time. I expected to be in training for 8 weeks as stated but was there for over 4 months. There are only 2 reviews on yelp but they are much more accurate then google review.
Wow!!! Had a great experience and journey in this school. Am glad that I decided to switch from Smith&Solomom to AAA. From the classroom to when you actually in the yard, to drive, the location changes. However, Mike the teacher is cool, open, and willing to help you. The driving coaches Khalif, Mike, Paul are always willing to show you different ways to drive, park, or couple the trucks… at your pace. Thanks to them taking there time I learn how to shift & drive a manual vehicle . Even the ladies in the office Katie & Jessica are always so available to answer any questions or concerns. My driving Instructor was great. I felt really comfortable in the car with him. For the first couple of minutes i was a little nervous but then i wasn't so nervous. My first 2 hours with Al was really good. He's an excellent driving instructor.
I started taking lessons with Chris never having been behind the wheel. He taught me how to drive and I was able to get my license in just 6 weeks. He was very patient and calm so it made it easier for me to learn. Highly recommend!

I just got my license. I did the 2 hour lesson with an instructor before taking the driver test with a different examiner. This process was very smooth. The instructor was very helpful, patient, kind, and informative while providing lesson. Afterwards, my examiner was also very nice. I am now licensed thanks to Driven 2 Drive!!
I recently got my driver’s license and I want to sincerely thank the entire team at Drive to Drive Driving School! My instructor was incredibly patient, calm, and explained everything clearly and simply. Thanks to the way I was taught, I felt confident, comfortable, and never stressed during my lessons. I signed my daughter up for the same day two hour refresher driving lesson and drivers test. On the day of the lesson and test, I was surprised when my daughter came back after 40 minutes. She reported that her lesson instructor said her skills were good and she was ready. However, she subsequently failed the drivers test. While I recognize that the lesson is not a guarantee for passing the test , it seems disingenuous to advertise an “up to two hour lesson,” assess that a student is ready after 20 minutes but then have her fail the exam right afterwards. She clearly needed the full time for refresher and practice. If felt like a giant waste of money.
I came in not knowing much on how to drive and Dan thought me all the mechanics and procedures to be a safe and responsible driver. Great experience with respectful staff that teach you all you need to know even if you are a complete beginner.
Did the quick driving refresher+driving test at the Bala Cynwad location. Great experience. Waiting for my turn, I overheard some of the conversations between the instructors. They really want you to pass. The refresher is great, as it acts as a bit of a practice test. Pass on first attempt.

Eli in Horsham and Bill from northeast branch were some of the best instructors you can come across. My experience with many instructors made me realize Some of the instructors really lack basics in teaching new drivers. If you think your not getting any where with one particular instructor make the possible change asap before you exhaust all your paid lessons. One of the mistakes I made and nearly failed me.
I had a great teacher! He taught me how to parallel park, which was really easy because he made it really easy to learn. I went from driving in an empty parking lot to driving on the road at 45 mph. And he was there, guiding me! I recommend this place!

Instructor was fair. I failed the test the first time, It’s important not to take it so personal, no one there is out to get you. Instructor was very clear in what I did wrong and when I came back to retake it 3 days later he reiterated it. Passed it the second time easily, no tricks or games, same test just without the mistakes from the first time. They give you a schedule within a few days when you ring them up. So far I believe they have the best price point in Philly at $90 for taking the test which also includes the car. If you fail it retakes are priced at $70. Overall, a solid experience. 👍🏿

Stop looking for driving schools. This is the one!! Just walk in and ask for Gordon. This was by far the best driving school I’ve been to. They were pleasant, polite and most importantly patient. Gordon is an amazing teacher. He’ll give you all the tips and tricks to help you become a great driver. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking to get driving lessons.

Was a student there from Nov 2024 to March 2024. Graduated. They were understanding with a family issue that took me away from class for a few weeks. The staff is amazing. I shall say coming in today to schedule my CDL test I was confused if I was testing in a Manuel truck or automatic. While talking to Ms.Chardonee she knew I was indecisive I have explained why to her and she took me out on the road personally in a Manuel truck and I must say I have became more confident in taking my test in the upcoming days. Tom has also been a great instructor he has taught me everything I needed to know for the in cab,outside of the truck, and under the hood I wouldn't take my evalve with no one but him. Joe has also been phenomenal in teaching me how to drive the truck and to properly shift. I would definitely recommend Smith and Solomon to anyone.

First I would like to thank smith& Solomon for the opportunity to acquire my CDL. This school was great the class instructor Tom was whiling to answer and explain whatever questions I had even though we had a tight schedule to keep he was ready and whiling to pause to take time out to make sure I understood. The yard instructors were also very kind but also to the point. Pre-trip inspection was explained and we were walked through as many times as we needed to get familiar and comfortable. The only down side to the yard was not getting as much assistance on the parking maneuvers. I really had to lean on my classmates to get the jist of how to reverse offset and forward offset. I was never actually shown by an instructor due to a lot of students and not enough instructors. My road training went like a breeze. Miss Chardonee made it very easy for me to get comfortable and familiar with shifting the truck as well as turning it. She has a way with her students with her sense of humor and kindness as long as you do what she says not what she does your good to go 😭. I also went out with Thomas he really helped me with my downshifting. I mean I was ruff with that until he broke it down for me. He also took me out extra times to make sure I was ready for test day. Thank you miss Lydia for putting up with my Jokes and childish sense of humor. Mrs Sade and miss kiki your both wonderful woman and helpful even though your behind those office doors you mad a way to make yourselves available and your presence felt.
Chardonee Baker (Asst. Campus Business Manager) is an excellent trainer/instructor. Very pleasant, answers questions and gives direction and help that one may need. I received a wonderful and informative training experience with her. When it comes to a Smith & Solomon student she is very attentive to help get you through training. I thank her greatly along with the rest of the Smith & Solomon staff. If it was up to me there should be more than a five star rating.

I would definitely recommend cantors driving school for everyone. The trainers make you comfortable and you don’t feel nervousness at all. After failing twice in Penndot I took a small prep with Cantors. I was not getting slot available for road test. They helped me schedule my road test. During prep they gave me a constructive feedback for things I should remember and I performed so well in my road test. After passing the road test the status got updated in DMV automatically and I went to get my Camcard that day itself. I got camcard,photo clicked and within few minutes I got my License from DMV. I’m very happy with my experience with this school. I made the reckless decision of booking my appointment as soon as I got my permit, no experience in driving….only hope. Safe Driving School helped me get my license after completing 6 hours and I couldn’t be more grateful for the patience and sincerity of the instructors. One month later, I had my license and confidence on the road. I had Mohamed & Adam, and both were great.

If I’m being completely honest I see why people choose to drive with Mohammed. I had only 1 lesson with him and my energy with him felt very calm and I performed well that day. Every other time I had Adam and it was a hit or miss. Adam is more strict and less comfortable to drive with. It seems he’s just there for a paycheck meanwhile Mohammad actually takes his time to teach you and makes sure you feel comfortable behind the wheel. Adam is a little condescending and passive aggressive at times. Always ask for Mohammed. The lessons are good, but when you’re first learning to drive it’s important to have an instructor that has patience and actually likes his job. Adam likes to act confused when suddenly after he makes discouraging commentary why all of a sudden you start driving bad, but it’s obvious that’s a theme for him based on these reviews. I’m upset I’ve taken about 5 lessons and only had a few good ones. People are spending their hard earned money to learn to drive just to be given an attitude by someone that seems to hate their job. Book with Mohammed or someone else. That’s all I’ll say

Mr Tee was very professional and funny. We did highway driving and I love the door to door self. Super affordable. I appreciate that he was patience and I appreciate that he went over the knowledge portion of the test, like where everything is at. He also taught me that you have to breathe and never let anything get you out of rhythm. I’m going to apply that to life, as well as driving.I would definitely recommend.

I have got my driver license through success driving school. Gordon is my instructor and he was awesome. I took seven lessons with him, he explain me well and give me all the feed back whenever at the end of the lesson. Especially he corrected me immediately then explain me for what I have make mistake during the lesson. He is really nice, friendly and had a good communication skill. I was turned on too success driving simply because of the reviews! I am 30 years old and have been driving for the longest, and not too mention I suffer from anxiety!!! I decided to get my license for the first and last time.. success was the perfect place, I recommend you do a warm up before the test it’s worth the money since all cars are different you don’t want to fail for not knowing where controls are.. Yong was my instructor and she was was amazing.. my anxiety went away almost I’m sad because of how comfortable she made me feel!!! I came here because it’s advertised as a “tag & title” place, but they told me my paperwork wasn’t enough, and couldn’t explain any further why not. I went to the other title place a block east and it was done in 25 minutes. Not trying to be rude but don’t come here if you need that kind of thing, they’re extremely unhelpful.

This place is horrible! I took my son here for a driver’s test and they berated him during the test, and again afterwards. Not even to mention the fact that his tester (the owner) wrote everything he supposedly did wrong (all very picky stuff) on the back of his ACTUAL driver’s permit. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE who has not taken their driver’s course, as I’m sure that’s the reason that he was failed so harshly.

Had the privilege of taking my Cdl exam with the owner. Very professional and patient in my own opinion. Alerted me of mistakes that i had no idea i made which help me improve.
I came in today to take my test, and when my mom and I walked in there was one woman sitting there saying that they weren’t a testing school. We got a confirmation text saying to meet Paula at their exact address and we arrived ten minutes earlier. Sandy the woman in the store (mind you the only one in the store) called the front desk lady I’m assuming her name was Danny/Dani/something along those lines and had to look up our last name. What’s important to this story is my mom called two weeks before to make sure that I would be taking the test at DTS and she was reassured everything was good and set, but when we came in she said it must have “fallen through the cracks to tell us that they aren’t testing. It’s was a confusing 20 minutes for everyone. I’m just so disappointed because I’ve been practicing and my parents paid good money for people to schedule it for me and they get screwed. I loved my instructor Larry, but right now everything is too messy and not fair to everyone who wants their liscense and now I have to wait days to reschedule it because it takes two days to be put on the schedule and then I’m going to be out of the country so this whole situation is so unfair I wouldn’t recommend if you want to get your liscense ON TIME!! But thank you to sandy for professionals dealing with the problem while you had a lesson and Larry for training me. Wouldn’t recommend and I’m just disappointed that I can’t get it after waiting for so long.
My experience was pretty good. I think the main reason it was a good experience is because the driver that I selected for all of my son's lessons was a totally awesome person. I selected Gary R. I could not have picked a better person!! Gary R. was so nice, so laid back and my son says a super great instructor and made him feel comfortable and at ease from the start. Each lesson was better and better. After the very last lesson Gary and my son were totally prepared to finally take the road test. The company and Gary R. provided an excellent experience for my son. I was extremely happy with the final outcome!! Request Gary!!!
