I highly recommend taking driving lessons from here , Jeff was able to take someone like me who had 0 driving experience and turn me into a licensed driver in a very short amount of time , If you are looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of all the rules of the road and for your driving test then you have found it , thank you again for helping me gain mobile freedom!
We hired Jeff for behind the wheel instruction for my daughter and he explained/showed her what to look out for and why. He was responsive to all of our questions and concerns, gave her and myself feedback, and followed her through until her driving test. He was also there for her during her online class to ensure she understood. Jeff’s constant support gave our daughter the confidence to go into her driving test with little anxiety and ended up passing near perfectly. We highly recommend Jeff and will be hiring him again for our next child’s driving instruction.
I highly recommend Nevada Drive Academy. Jeff is the best instructor you could have for driving no matter what driving skill level you're at. He helps you become a confident and safe driver. He's very patient and calm, which I think definitely helped me become less anxious while driving. Jeff is accommodating with scheduling. My driver Instructor, Art was fantastic! He totally put me at ease & gave me very clear instructions. He’s very calm & I found this really helpful since I’m brand new to driving. My confidence grew as time went by & I thoroughly enjoyed the lessons with him. He’s also a super kind & friendly guy!
Just passed my driving test today and thanks to my instructor Mr. Robert. I was lucky enough to have him as my instructor, he was so patient and knowledgeable about all the driving, to park and etc. Robert is highly recommended driving instructor! Very patient, calm and kind. I appreciate our chats on our drives and feel much more confident and competent as a driver thanks to his guidance. Would definitely recommend learning with Safe Driving School you will not only be taught how to get around in vehicle, you will be taught to drive with conscience, because they emphasize the importance of safety, respect for traffic laws and emphasize the commitment that driving represents. Rick was a grate and I really lernd alot would recommend to anyone who wants to get there drivers license at 16.
I passed my driving test the first time thanks to to Rick and Emily! Scheduling with Rick was easy. He responded quickly and was on time to each lesson. Before my test I was nervous, but both Emily and Rick gave me the confidence to pass! They drove me around the DMV area and gave me super helpful tips. The pricing may be a little pricy, but from the communication to the lessons itself, it was enjoyable and I totally recommend this Driving school! Drivers ED was also fun, the class got pizza on the last day!

George is a great and friendly instructor. Before we started to drive on the road, George spent about 30 minutes to explain important things to be aware of while driving. This showed me how professional he is. I practiced driving with him about 5 times, and I finally got my drivers license:) I highly recommend George if you are looking for a driving instructor!
All my driving skills are from George, he had the time an patience with me. I recommend safe ridge driving to anyone especially first time teen drivers. I passed my drivers test with a 100% score on the first try. Thanks to George and his driving lessons. Friendly and very professional service.
George taught me how to drive with patience. He had this sketches on the road and explained everything we might face on the road. He taught the road rules very well. He have a calm voice and will not make you nervous driving. I got 98/100. He always says it's easy and gave advises in a calm way.

Took multiple lessons with Pierre and Debbie, both incredible instructors. They were patient and taught me so much during each lesson! We recently used LV NV Driving School for our daughter’s private lessons. They were communicative and helpful in teaching her the rules of the road. Met Thierry a few years ago. He and Nancy helped me get their license. They are very kind, helpful, and fun to work with.
As soon as my son received his drivers permit, I knew that i needed to look into driving schools for him. My husband and I took him driving as long as we could, that’s when I called Thierry at Las Vegas Driving school, and I am happy I did! Thierry is amazing, patient and answered all my questions, explained to me the process of the driving lessons and also what to expect before the driving road test for my son. My son took a couple driving lessons, I did like that it was pay as you go, I wasn’t obligated to buy a package deal. I paid for each lesson. I made the appointment. So that was nice because it was on my time with my availability and affordability. My son also said the instructors were amazing, gave him pointers on what to look for on the driving test, Defensive driving, and rules of the road. My son was also very confident with his driving skills and also gave me peace of mind As a parent, And I am grateful for that. I overall liked this driving school. The customer service was quick and easy to talk to. They always sent me a reminder prior to each appointment. The instructor Ming was patient and professional during the lessons, also helped me to pass the test.
I had my first driving class today with instructor Ming and the experience was disappointing. As a beginner, I went there to learn—not to disobey or ignore the instructor. However, he told me right away that he had the right to cancel the class if I didn’t obey him, which felt more like a threat than guidance. His tone was rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I believe instructors should be patient and respectful, especially with new learners. I hope the school takes this seriously and ensures a better environment for students.
Favor Driving School gave me such a great learning experience. My instructor, Nexsan, was absolutely amazing. He was patient, professional, and made me feel comfortable behind the wheel from the very first lesson. Nexsan explained everything clearly and always encouraged me to stay confident. Three lessons took at least three years off of my learning curve! Monte is an amazing instructor and very based. I like to call him Based Monte. I took a few lessons over a couple of weeks and now have a much better mindset about driving, and much more confidence and improved driving skills. Feeling hyped about my DMV test!
I’ll admit it, I was terrified to drive with my teen son. ;) Monte was patient, tailored the lessons to focus on the skills he needed, and somehow transformed my nervous new driver into a confident one. Having the instructor’s brake control on the passenger side gave my teen the chance to progress faster and safer than I ever could have managed on my own. Now I can sit in the passenger seat without gripping the door handle for dear life. Highly recommend!
Took Monte’s drivers Ed course he was a great teacher making the class educational but still fun and interactive. I left everyday feeling more prepared and confident driving.
Monty is a phenomenal instructor! He is very thorough, making sure you know all the rules of the road to ensure that you are a safe and confident driver. He took me where the DMV is, and we practiced what the test would be like. I was super anxious previously, but he was very patient, undersanding, and funny! I feel so much less anxious driving, and I am so glad I went with Ace Driving School! I would absolutely recommend Monty to anyone driving, he knows his stuff and you will feel like a *much* better driver afterwards!

I would 10/10 recommend taking these lessons without the help of my instructors, Debra and Valeria. I wouldn’t have become the driver I am to do, I’m not so scared of the road, I had my drivers test yesterday. I passed it on my first try. Also I loved having the guidance from both of my instructors!
Debra was quite literally amazing! It’s all thanks to her and this driving school that I got my license. She took me everywhere to get a feel of driving to new places giving me new experiences and insights into what I’ll encounter driving. Thanks to Ms. Debra Settle I was able to pass my driver's test and feel more comfortable on the road after battling years of driving anxiety. I had Stephani Loffredo as my driving instructor! She got rid of my fear of driving completely! I had different instructors in the past but Stephani definitely changed my mind that driving is easy! She was very calm and patient with me whenever I asked her questions and she taught me all her hacks. She taught me so much and we even went on the freeway multiple times! She even talked to my mom and reassured her that I was doing well and now my mom trusts me completely because she knew Stephani was a good instructor!
I had James Goddard as my driving instructor. He is very courteous and highly professional. He clearly explained all the automatic fails and the best ways to pass my driving test. During our lessons, he made me feel comfortable and calm.I gained a lot of knowledge about both DMV rules and real-world driving. Cantor's Driving School is truly the best in Las Vegas. My instructor, James, started with the basics and gradually built up my confidence, allowing me to progress and learn quickly. She remains calm and composed, even in challenging situations, and knows exactly how to guide students without adding pressure or stress—unlike the experience many of us have when learning from a well-meaning but untrained family member. After completing my initial lesson package, I even booked an extra session with her just to get in some additional practice—she’s that great to learn with. This school was the best choice! From the staff at the front desk, we’re very professional. They hook you up with T-shirts beanies sweat rags cups all the gear.. They gave me great advice to be successful. Moving on forward to the yard it can seem like tough love at first with some of the trainers, but they really want you to do your best and pass. It’s really up to you with your progress and showing up. I just want to think Holly George. Tony John John Michael everyone out there on the yard. The school is patient with you. And will give you a chance As long as you’re putting in the work. I 100% recommend the school and I’ll never forget my wonderful experience.
I attended this school to get my manual restriction removed (driving 3+ years). The girls in the office were friendly and kept in contact with me while I was over the road. They had the best prices in town for getting it removed and offered an up front payment or financing. Took a week off from work and came here, Uncle George was a great instructor and literally had me driving a manual and shifting gears all within a week. He may seem like he’s mean and cranky but he means well and is just trying to get you to learn and pass! Tony was also a good instructor not to mention he’s hilarious. Holly was my tester and she was awesome! Thank you to the staff here for helping me pass my test and getting my manual restriction removed

I had an awesome time going to this school. They made provisions for my needs as they had everyone else's. Roberto and Bob were my instructors on the weekend classes. They both were amazing fun to learn from and both became dear friends through this experience. If you're looking for a top notch driving school to getbyour CDL through this school is it! Rich, one of the proctors, administered my final tests and he is an outstanding proctor as well! Absolutely everyone from the front office, Jenna and Lina, are super helpful and always a pleasure to deal with. Over all this school was one of the best experiences of my life I'm so glad I decided to come here.

I am noticing some mixed reviews here. I had instructor LEON! He is the absolute best! He is such a lovely person. So patient and professional. Really knows how to explain. things well. I took 3 sessions with him and ended up driving from Henderson to LA! Something really clicked for me on our 3rd session. When we did freeway and highway lesson, I stopped fearing speed and that allowed me to become ok on the road and be a driver! He did for me in 3 sessions what other instructors could not do in 12 lessons! I'm so grateful to him because being able to drive makes me feel so free, independent and happy!
Daryn is a knowledgeable, patient and absolutely wonderful instructor. In familiarizing myself on the Las Vegas roads, I am getting to expand my knowledge and experiences relating to being in the driver's seat in the USA, even after 30 years of driving in another country.
They are absolutely amazing! I had Leon, Tina and Donny. I went from driving within a 5 miles radius to cruising the strip and doing 70 mph on the freeway. The prices are good if you buy a package. I totally recommend them. Sometimes they arrived a little bit early and gave me an extra 10-15 minutes!

The instructors here are fantastic. Skid, Elliot, Blackbeard, Kyle, Tony, and Kim really do a great job and they’re patient and knowledgeable. The only issue is that the trucks aren’t in the best condition and break down a lot, and because of that it took a really long time to be able to take my test after I finished the school. The corporate office should really either upgrade these trucks, or do better with maintaining them. As many trucks as they have at the yard, there shouldn’t be any situation where all of them or almost all of them are not running. But, overall it’s a good school and I would recommend it if you’re looking to get your CDL.
All of their driving Instructor did a phenomenal job I got my A license on my first driving test. I’m very much recommended 160 Driving Academy of Las Vegas.
I had an amazing time with the instructors and they answered all of my questions and concerns. Kim was amazing and I would recommend 160 driving academy for anyone wanting to get their CDL.

I contacted Nevada Driving Schools to ask if I could schedule multiple driving sessions before scheduling a DMV test. I was told instead to schedule a DMV test in advance, and after jerking me around for two months refusing to give me a straight answer to my follow-ups (if any answers at all), they finally agreed to give me ONE driving session right before my scheduled DMV test. Then after the driving session, the driver refused the car for the DMV test and said I should have scheduled multiple driving sessions (AKA: the very thing I wanted to do in the first place and they said no for two months). I am fully confident that this was a deliberate ploy to try to squeeze me for more money than I would have otherwise have to spend, given that I have tried everything short of a note signed in blood tied to a rock flying through their window to tell them I am NOT giving them any more of my time or money and yet they continue to hound me. Do not give these worthless stool-bags your money.
I had a warrant out for my arrest because there was no follow up from this driving school. Ben is by far the most rude man I've ever spoken to. He hung up on me and talked down to me as if he's never been in a two way conversation. Dean on the other hand was an angel, sorry for the poor review Dean (you were awesome!). Don't waste your money.!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best driving school. My instructor Mr. Larry Semore is the best. He was very helpful I had a real fear of driving. I had my mom trying to teach me how to drive but all she did was yell. Mr. Larry took his time showed me what to do and how to do it correctly . He told me now what did you do wrong and I answered it and I corrected my mistakes without him telling me the answer. He had me driving on the streets my second day. Excellent excellent instructor
I would highly recommend Nevada Driving Schools, they helped me get my driver's license and I am 100% satisfied. I especially appreciate my instructor, Ms. Perez, who is extremely patient and will always make sure that you understand what she is teaching you. She taught me how to be a defensive and safe driver and I couldn't have gotten my driver's license without her. If you are looking for an affordable and effective way for you yourself or your teenager to learn to drive, this is most definitely the school to choose.

They literally let me go taking $2000 from my money then refuse to continue with the process, I wasted 6 months and $2000 and I don’t have a truck for my last test. 👎🏼
Obtuve la CDL en esta escuela, la verdad que apoyan mucho para sacar la licencia enseñan bien y pues ami me fue bien en todos los test. Lo unico que tengo que lamentar hasta este momento es que cuando pregunte si el no saber un ingles fluido era un problema para que las compañias los contraten a uno, se me indico que no pero aplique para Werner Enterprises, realice el viaje a California, hice gastos y ya estando alla me dijero que no podian contratarme porque no habla suficiente ingles, sigo intentando obetener trabajo en otras compañias pero en las que he consultado para no invertir tiempo y dinero me han dicho que no. Espero que esta opinión ayude a que otros no gasten tanto dinero en sacar su licencia CDL si no hablan bien ingles ya que tendran problemas para agarrar trabajo en compañias grandes.

Highly recommend for any new driver. Brian did an amazing job with our 15 year old who just acquired her permit. This helped her so much with getting more comfortable behind the wheel for a full 2 hours. Having an experienced instructor like Brian made her comfortable and more confident. And the guidance is always better received from someone other than from a parent in our experience. We will be scheduling a 2nd driving session with Brian before she goes for her license as well. She learned a lot, and the safety factor is something that you just can't put a price on, and the price is very reasonable. Thank you, Brian. We will be scheduling again soon.
I have not written any reviews, but NV Drivers Ed deserves one. The free online 30 Hour Driver's Ed on their website was very helpful. Kay - easy to talk to and accommodating/flexible with setting up my appointments. Brian - very professional and calm. Also very accommodating with my never ending (and sometimes repeating) questions. Highly knowledgeable with driving techniques, safety and traffic rules. Provides encouraging feedback and room for improvement. Tanya - only had a day of driving with Tanya. She is chill yet straight forward with the feedback. Super cool and equally knowledgeable. Overall, the experience was very positive. It elevated my confidence with driving. Their encouragement certainly did help me. I highly recommend NV Drivers ED to anyone who wants to learn how to drive.

160 Driving Academy has to be the best, period. I couldn't possibly fathom another school in this area with the skills, experience, dedication and execution as this school. The instructors, Damon, Pete and Ray go above and beyond to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to safely prepare for and drive a combination vehicle, not just pass the CDL Test. In addition, Damon mixes things up in the skills yard and on the road on a daily basis creating teamwork and engagement, which in turn alleviates complacency. In other words, it's damn fun! If you put in the desire to learn, you will definitely love this school. If you want to sit on your butt and drag around, find another school. Thank you Damon, Pete, and Ray for your wisdom, patience, and dedication. It reflects great upon 160. I hope I made 3 new friends as I journey onward in my new career. Go Navy!

My experience at the 160 Driving Academy has been really extravagant with one of the most patient, knowledged teachers and students. Best experience I’ve ever had that will never be forgotten. This is a great Truck Driving School. You are granted the opportunity to drive the truck on your very first day at school. The instructors are really good and very patient with the students , where students are encouraged to work hard on every aspects of truck driving. The administrators of the school consider the difficult financial situations that some students are trying to cope with ; hence the school administrative staff go out of their way to accommodate the student's need. A wonderful training environment where we have BBQ every Thursdays and even on weekends too. You really get your money's worth when you study at this school , they will continue to train you until you get your CDL at no extra cost. Isn't that cool??
I absolutely enjoyed everything about NDTDS Randy , Patty ,Pete & Michelle were great. I’m guessing that from the students that joined from the other schools around that I chose the right one. They get you behind the wheel on day one! You can go sat your own pace so if you’re motivated it fly’s by.
Teachers are phenomenal- I learned a lot of skills there that I could of never learned without years of experience- thank you 🙏🏻
When i called to enroll, i said "Hey i had some questions about the school." They said What. It sounded like i had the wrong number so i asked if it was the Desert Driving school. The person rudely responded again saying yes! What were your questions?! Can't tell you enough just how angry the person sounded that i was calling.
Great people they are definitely willing to help when you ask for it, and they let you work at your own pace. Listen to other students that may have been there a little longer everyone is there for the same reason and may have picked up the lesson your having trouble with. Also take it seriously because if your not then you have no reason behind the wheel of a rig where your decisions effect the other lives on the road. It is a rewarding experience and career in the long term and can help you see the country while you get paid

The trucks are constantly breaking down. They have too many students in one call so theres no real one on one time with the instructor. 5 out of 8 students continue to fail the dmv test which i think is directly linked to the instructos competence to teach. I constantly hear rants about politics instead of learning to properly drive. I dont recommend going to school here.
I would like to Thank Desert Knight CDL School and it's Driving instructors for their patience and understanding and helping me succeed in achieving my class A CDL. I work full time overnight and it was very difficult To focus on my skills. Desert Knight let me work on my own schedule until I achieved my goal. They made sure I perfected my pre trip and driving skills and once I was ready, I took my state test and passed. I highly recommend Desert Knight CDL school for anyone who has a busy work schedule or life and needs to work at their own pace. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. Thank you. Shay

I pass the driving test and got my first driver license with the help of All America driving school and my instructor Adela. I am totally a beginner driver and before coming here I haven’t pass the driving test for 2 times and finally I booked 10 hours behind the wheel courses. My instructor Adela is patient, processional and reliable. She would clarify all your question and very helpful. We worked on my weakness and then I passed the driving test just after one week practice. And in this driving school I feel everyone is very polite and respectful even when answering your phone call. Amazing experience!
I want to share the experience I had yesterday with an instructor at this driving school, he is called Christopher, he is a man of about 40 years old. He shouted at me, he treated me badly, hedid not have patience, and he made me feel bad and made me cry. It is an animal. I don’t recommend take clases with him.
Great driving school! The instructor really instilled my 18 year old son with knowledge and confidence. Instructor/student dynamic is better than the parent child one! My son passed his DMV driving test on the first try. He is a great driver now. We are grateful.

My instructor was Lorna. She was great and super patient to a beginner driver like me. Yesterday I passed my driving test at DMV with 93points out of 100! Thank you Lorna and Safeway driving!
The owner called me all rude and condescending over her billing error. She accused me of being someone else that had been rude to her office and driver and told me I was 'yappy'. She said she was sick in bed and could not 'deal' with her business error. Furthermore she stated she didn't have to talk to me about the billing error since my son was 18 even though he's not the one that paid. She told him When she first called on his phone to not put anyone else on the phone and sounded threatening to him. She's a total psycho and Soo unprofessional! The driver was 2 hours late the first session because of her error not his then the second session the driver was instructed to ask my son for $100 which is a surprise as we were advised BOTH sessions have already been paid for. She has zero customer service skills and blamed the customer for everything. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!
Kathy— the owner, doesnt show up till 11 for her 9am class. Your kids arent even getting ehat you pay for. Then she debates about why cops are justified killing people. She is SO RUDE. My daughter had a cough(wearing a mask, covid negative/flu negative, no fever) and suffers from seasonal allergies and asthma and its spring!!. Kathy sent her home, and in front of the class said she didnt know why a mother would send their kid to class coughing. She later denied that she forced my daughter to go home, but the entire class witnessed this. I believe she is a racist too. After forcing my daughter to leave, insulting us, and being rude, she wont refund us. I would look elsewhere. Your kids wont even learn. She just talks for 5 mins about cops killing people and leaves them in self study for an hour. Buyer beware!!
I agree with joe 100%. I took one behind-the-wheel "lesson" there and I will never go back. What a waste of money. I don't know how these people don't have complaints against them with the DMV and BBB. I didn't even get what I asked for. In addition, the instructor belittled me, told me I was a terrible driver and I would never pass my road test, and was very patronizing to me - and I am a 31 y.o. woman. Also, the only reason I made this appt was so that I could gain their permission to use their car for my road test, 2 days later. That didn't happen because the "instructor" told me I was a terrible driver and there was no way I could pass. He tried coerce me into buying more appts. I just borrowed someone else's car instead. I passed with 93/100. When I spoke to them on the phone a week later, I said I was dissatisfied with what I had received and that I was supposed to have the instructor observe that I was a safe driver, not treat me like a beginning teen driver who didn't know anything. First they told me that he needed to treat me that way because according to his "notes", I lacked any skill and need to buy more "lessons" before they would let me use the car for my test because I was not ready for my test. When I revealed that I had gone ahead with my test anyway, despite what their instructor had told me, and I passed with 93/100, their story changed completely and they told me that was because of the instructor, because he was SUCH a good "teacher", that he had taught me soo much in my one hour with him, that is why I passed. Then why did I need to buy more lessons if, at the end, I was prepared for my test? When I tried to raise a complaint, they told me I was a bad driver with no experience - they have all the experience. That is why I needed to buy more before they would let me use their car for my road test. I took my road test with someone elses car instead, and I passed because the instructor is SOO gifted that I started out terrible and learned EVERYTHING I knew from that one hour with this special guy. Does that make any sense to you? It just sounds like circular logic to me. They also told me, when I made a complaint about what I had (not) received, that they know what they are talking about, and that I don't know what I am talking about. Bottom line : the instructor was demeaning, patronizing, and belittled me. The owner acted like a bully towards me, and the other staff I spoke to(Kathy?), were rude, coercive, and manipulative. I got the impression that they are just out to get as much money out of their customers as they can. Terrible service. I WANT A REFUND. I seriously want my money back.
Not sure why so many of the comments are negative. I used the school three times—8 hour lessons, 10 hour lesson, and road test. Kathy is very nice and flexible with scheduling lessons. Sam was an excellent teacher. He was very patient and actively worked with me to improve the areas I was struggling with (mainly turning). He brought his own small pillow for me to sit on in order to improve my visibility, and we spent a whole day working on turns. The school adequately prepared me to pass the road test. I earned a perfect score on the parallel parking.
