Just want to give a big shout out to, Branch manager miss crystal and yard manager miss Kim for an awesome journey. During my time with this team they made my journey an absolute dream come true. Miss crystal is so very passionate about my future and fellow students I remember failing my written test and I wanted to give up but she let me know with confidence that I will pass and sure enough I went in the following day and breeze through all three phases with ease. Miss Kim and her staff is very much invested in you getting your CDL and bringing dreams and goals to life. Things got hard for me figuring out how to do my offset forward and offset backing and I just got frustrated but here comes miss Kim encouraging me and guiding me every turn and when I finally got my offset backing I will never forgot the smile and two hands in the air saying yes yes you did it, that just brought me to a place where I know this career is for me. Two months later I have successfully got my CDL A and I’m very proud to be a 160 driving academy student. I recommend if you want a career in truck driving this place will surely get you there. The learning process and overall atmosphere at the yard was excellent! I had so much help, no matter what I needed no matter what questions I had everyone was there to help! Most importantly the person who helped and pushed me to my goal was Kim Kraft. She is such an excellent and amazing instructor, if it wasn’t for her tips and advice I wouldn’t have been able to pass it first try!! With that, I would love to give thanks to Eliot, Skid, chuck, black beard, Tony, and Jared and of course mike!! Thank you so much 160!!!!
160 Driving Academy is the best choice I made, the instructors are awesome, they really do care if you are doing well, they want you to pass with the knowledge to be successful. With that being said you have to put in the effort! I can honestly say I'm happy with my experience at 160, and the knowledge and skills I acquired during my time there. Special thanks to the branch manager Shayna, she will work with you every step of the way to assure your success.
