I was a student at Wheel to Drive and it was a wonderful experience. The driving instructors are super patient with the students and thoroughly explain the steps for a safe drive. The theoretical portion of the class was also very helpful for new coming drivers. The classroom teacher also helps students understand the rules of the road.
During the last three days of me driving and the week of learning more about the safety and tips to being a good driver, I would like to say I have learned a lot more then what i thought i already knew. I also think my driving has improved as in how smooth it is getting and being able to merge and adjust to different roads and places. I think it is a very good school and I am excited to learn more.
Ms. Hedwood is a great teacher and explains things very well. Topics we cover are also really informative. The actual driving sessions go very smoothly and our instructor is very calm and helpful when on the road.
I had a great experience with both Ms.Hedwood and Mr.D at Wheel To Drive. From the classroom to driving on the road they’re very helpful, understanding, patient, and informative. This is the best experience I have had learning to drive. I started with little to no experience driving and as I’m finishing out I have learned so many things about driving and the road. I highly recommend if you are looking for a driving school or drivers training this is the place to be.

Got my license today! I took my lessons with Nadia. She is amazing and helped me improve so much! The first time I took lessons with her we drove for 2 hours to see where I was at and then she came up with a very clear and detailed plan for how many hours I needed to be ready for the test. She was very kind throughout our lessons while still being firm and clear with her instructions. I learned a lot from Nadia and would definitely recommend A+ Driving School to anyone who needs help with improving their driving.
For some context, I’ve taken driver’s ed in the past, but never took my road test due to the 2020 lockdown. After years getting by without it, i decided I needed to get my license, but i wanted to derust first and get comfortable behind the wheel once more. Mr. Nimer is a great teacher, he’s very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. On our first session he offered immediate feedback and tips for my driving which helped me tremendously. He also emphasizes safety. I passed my test after about 8 hours of practice with him, including road test prep, standard on-road driving, and the highway. The cost is also reasonable considering the dedicated 1:1 coaching as well. If you are a student at the university especially , i really recommend A Plus for helping you prepare for your test. 👍

Mr. Walker is a really great instructor, extremely patient and chill. While driving they make sure you're in a stress free environment, and instructors like Mr. Player do really well at teaching students how to drive in roundabouts, sharp turns and more.

All of the teachers are nice and do good with not getting upset at your mistake which helps make it alot easier and less stressful while driving. And the class room experience was good it's all very structured and they make sure we learn everything you need to in a timely manner but you HAVE TO READ THE BOOK aswell not everything's gonna be on the slide shows. They also teach you alot more than driving, I've learned how to be more curtious and responsible and how to be more social with people. It was all around a good experience in general and I would recommend it.

Mr.abdul was a very good instructor. He was nice and very helpful. He never put any students down and kept everyone motivated. Mr. Abdul was a nice instructor because he was very calm and patient. Unlike other instructors he never yelled at us when we made mistakes, he just calmly adjusted us. This is a great place for taking drivers ed. I just finished segment 1 and I would say I improved a lot as a driver. My instructor Mr. Abdul was very patient with all of us even when we made mistakes while driving. The lessons that were taught in class were also very thorough but easy to understand so it was helpful when it came to the test because I had already learned mostly everything I needed to during class. This school also offered segment 1 at a way more affordable price compared to other schools I had called before. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

Very streamlined process to register for the test and a super responsive, considerate customer service. The highlight is the road test itself --i took it with Kyle and cannot praise him highly enough. He genuinely tried to calm my nerves as much as was humanely possible. I have 3 boys and 1 girl. I knew my daughter would not be going where any of her brothers went for Driver's Ed. It took a bit of research but I finally found Speed Limit Driving School. They had great reviews, so I decided to call. From that 1st conversation with Mr Sal, I was put at ease and comfortable with sending my daughter here. It was a great decision! Mr Sal and Ms Karen are both very kind and patient - my daughter says the same. They really helped her work through some anxious feelings about driving and the written test. We will for sure be back for Segment 2 and I highly recommend Speed Limit Driving School!

I drive with Ron Kato, very good driving instructor and I had lots of fun. He’s very straight forward and tells you the right things which is very useful. He’s also there to talk you threw it and help you.
I highly recommend Sharon M as a driving instructor in the Ann Arbor area! She provided excellent driving lessons to my daughter and went above and beyond to ensure she completed her lessons on time. Sharon was not only skilled and knowledgeable, but also incredibly helpful and accommodating with our schedule. She truly cares about her students' success and made the whole process stress-free. We're very grateful to her for all her support and for being such a great instructor and person!

Ron is an amazing instructor! He is patient and moves at the pace YOU need! I am 40 years old and never had my license before because of anxiety. After a few lessons (9), I passed my exam and have been driving by myself, safely for 5 months! I finally have my independence and freedom to drive my kids around without depending on my husband! If you're reading this, you're probably considering Ron. Seriously, give him a call! You won't regret it!!!!
Foreign driver that moved to Michigan. Driving for 10 years in home country however everything is opposite compared to driving in USA. I took two Road Test Preparation packages with Ron however I was expecting to be properly trained on methods to pass the road test. 1. Ron does not have cones to set up in the testing site where the parking test is administered. Due to my driving experience, I was able to make it work however his methods on how and when to make turns when backing or parallel parking were not acceptable. It was all arbitrary and left me confused. For example, he teaches his students by providing landmarks such as "start turning when you reach this tree or turn when you see this crack in the road" He does not actually teach a workable method to back up or parallel park. The parallel parking test is within a very small space and the only way to master it is to practice using cones. For a driving instructor of 30+ years, he should have cones as educational tools otherwise there's no way you can pass the parallel park test. 2. I passed my test because I watched youtube videos and I went to the testing site (on non-test times) and kept practicing with cones set up. I am certain I would have failed if I had shown up and used only Ron's methods. 3. I also showed up to the testing site one day and spoke to one of the instructors and asked them for some guidance. This helped tremendously. I would agree with other reviews that Ron is kind however I would not recommend his classes for any new or even experienced driver. I felt like I did not get my money's worth.
Excellent experience. Ron is a really good driving instructor. I was pretty scared of driving in Michigan at first, but Ron made my learning experience very comfortable. I asked him a lot of questions and he was patient with me. My husband and I both took classes from him and we both cleared our tests.
After a few lessons with Ron, I was able to pass my test on the first try. Ron was experienced, professional, accommodating, and friendly. I felt comfortable learning with him, and he gave me lots of extremely useful advice during pretty much every lesson. He was also very obviously extremely experienced with both the roads in the local area, as well as the testing routes and practices used by the nearby driving examiners. I would recommend his services to anyone and everyone.
Ron is the best driving instructor you could ask for! He is super patient , humorous, and also with over 50 years of driving experience. Even on a highway, he could make sure that you are safe by using only one hand to steer your wheel. Ron is the best. I passed my test today with his help!!

Alex and Ms. Powell are the absolute best! I had really bad anxiety for years about driving. They both were so patient with me, and super kind. Alex accommodated my work schedule, and was with me every step of step of the way. We literally practiced up until a few minutes before my driving test. Ms. Powell was super amazing, one of my lessons I was completely in tears. She gave me some words of encouragement and help me through the hard day I was having. 10/10 would recommend. They definitely went above and beyond for me!

Instructor Kendra Moon, My only Instructor for Segment 1, but also, has to be my most favorite, she was generous, and caring with her class, and didn't lash out at all! She also made all 6 of my drives less nerve racking, and if anything, a lot more fun.

UPDATE, (Customer reaction to owners reaction) I am absolutely sure this is the proper driving school. They lie in the reactions claimed my daughter did not go, to this school. Please read on. I will also add that they let class out at night, early and then kick the kids out in the cold and shut the lights off while they stand in the dark parking lot waiting for someone to pick them up. I saw them do this to a young lady, so I pounded on the door until they unlocked it and let her back in to wait. I have other horrible stories to tell about this place, just figure you only have to hear so much before you realize not to take you young adults here to learn. Many better places. Absolutely horrible, when they enroll you in the classes to basically twist your arm to pay in cash. When my daughter started class before they even started instruction, they persuaded her to write a Great Google review giving them five stars. The instruction they couldn't even understand, when they ask questions they refuse to answer. Once the driving started they were always on the phone and grabbing the steering wheel, and when it came to customer service they wanted to get paid extra money for anything that they were supposed to do in the first place. I normally don't write negative reviews. Because they force so many people to write good reviews before the class even starts. Their Google review rating is exceptionally high. They have even learned how to corrupt that side of the system as well as every thing else they do, Avoid this place like the plague. Go read the negative reviews, they will agree with me, and have details.

Just took a lesson to improve my parking. And let me tell you, I feel so much more comfortable. The instructor was patient, pointed out small mistakes and how to improve on them. Good school, got over my fear of driving after the first day
I took driving lessons here last year, just realized I never left a review! The only reason I got my license is because of my instructor. I'm an adult who has always had very bad anxiety when it comes to driving. And the instructor that I got made me feel extremely comfortable and was beyond patient with me. I wish I could remember his name. He gave me all the tools I needed to pass my road test. Thanks to him I have been driving for a year now !! Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Ammar is as good or even better of a driving instructor than I can imagine. Even though I wasn't extremely nervous going in, he always made me feel comfortable going in, and by the end of my sessions as I got more practice, I could feel how much his help and advice smoothed out my driving. He offers very good advice and help while still being encouraging if you're not perfect. I definitely feel I made the right choice coming here for lessons.

Coach Ammar is a dedicated and responsible instructor. I still remember during my first lesson, I was so nervous that my hands were sweating profusely, even making the steering wheel slippery. It was Coach Ammar who encouraged me, telling me not to worry about it and explaining that it was just due to nervousness. He assured me that as my driving skills improved, this would fade away. Indeed, over time, my excessive hand sweating greatly diminished. My learning progress was slow, and I often made mistakes, but Coach Ammar always encouraged me not to feel sorry for my errors, reminding me that we all grow from our mistakes. Ammar is an amazing instructor. I'm not just saying this because I passed my road test on my first try. He is a genuine person, truly cares about his students and helping people get better with driving. If you just follow his instructions, you will pass your road test with no issue. LC is a master at taking a complicated task and breaking it down into its meticulous elements! Thanks LC! I don’t even know where to start. I came in around January and graduated February. All the instructors were so helpful and fun to be around making this one of the best learning experiences I’ve had in my life and will carry with me for the rest of it. I met so many cool people and made so many friends, the 4 week class felt like 4 days. I’m extremely grateful for this school and their way of teaching; the hospitality was one of a kind. Major Driving School exceeded my expectations! I am a 24 year old adult whos always been super anxious about driving, but Byron and his wife, Anna, helped ease my anxiety and lead me on the right path to achieving my goal of getting my license. I took private lessons with Byron and then my actual test with Anna and let me just say how kind and gentle Anna is! Byron is super knowledgeable, funny and laid back and taught me valuable skills to succeed in my driving career. Anna was very clear, patient and helped me greatly! Highly recommend.

Byron was very very rude to me I do not recommend him as I passed the test all he could do after was sit there and tell me I’m not mentally in the game over a couple mistakes witch we all make and after I told him I was nervous he said no your not … like how rude and if I wasn’t mentally in the game I shouldn’t of got my license. I really think he could of been a lot nicer about the way he was saying things 10/10 do not recommend 😕

Zach is an excellent instructor and a very easy to get along with, you won't regret learning to drive from him. He is highly competent, patient, and calm - I particularly appreciate how open he is about the learning process, making an initial assessment on the first lesson and then tailoring future lessons to how quickly you're advancing. He makes it clear at the end of each session what you'll be working on next. Learning as an adult, and being quite nervous about it initially, he did a great job making me more confident, and less worried about driving!

Mr. W was a wonderful instructor for my daughter. He was kind, friendly and talkative along their rides , which she enjoyed. He gave good pointers/advice in a empathetic way, never harsh or demeaning. Good teaching skills, always on time and used time wisely while giving lessons.
Highly recommended driving school for adult learners! I had the pleasure of learning from Mr Benbow, Mr Hampton, and Mr Pruitt who were all so patient, kind, and understanding. I’m extremely anxious and they helped me build my confidence and feel more comfortable behind the wheel. They all had the most comforting and calming demeanors that really helped me ease into driving even if I was just with them for a few days. Words cannot express how much I appreciate all three of them!
Doing a BTW lesson with Mr. Clarence W. was a good experience. He is an amazing instructor who is knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. He teaches effectively, tells you what you need to know and what you might not even realize you need to know, and does it reasonably and helpfully.

If you don't want to lose your job, money and will to ever obtain CDL license and drive a truck then stay away from this company! I had a deal with them to take classes and be done in 4/5 weeks but after more than 4/5 weeks I haven't even gotten a chance to turn on the truck nor many other things. Don't go to this driving school for your CDL!

Where do I start? 160 was a heck of a school. It took me a little bit longer to get my Cdl than expected but that was out of everyone’s control. Mother Nature had other plans. I joined the one and done club. I appreciate everything Rick and Randy and Tony and Gretchen did to help me achieve me goal.
My experience at 160 Drive was amazing. The instructors are very knowledgeable, helpful and personable. If I could, I would take the class again, but since I don’t have to because They provided the tools and the knowledge necessary for me to pass and be a one and done. I am thankful that they were my trainers and future drivers will share the same experience as I did if you choose to drive at 160.

Absolutely horrible experience. Adult daughter registered and provided availability, was told they could accommodate. Immediately the driver assigned wasn't available, driver tried to schedule appointments at times daughter wasn't available, driver would try to schedule last minute appointments, canceled appointments/repeatedly gave excuses for rescheduling, no one would return emails, no response to requests for different driver and tried to blame daughter for lack of availability despite daughter being consistently available for original time given. Few sessions she did have were few and far between.. not beneficial at all. FINALLY gave her half a refund. So very disappointing as we deliberately choose a local, minority represented business. If I could have chosen zero stars I would have.
My daughter and I highly recommend this driving training academy. My teen took her segment 1 here and well definitely be back for segment 2 and road test. The environment is comfortable and safe. The staff is very nice, professional, and on point with communication and teaching, especially Ms. Leslie. She is awesome in every way a person should be. Oh and the price is cheaper than the rest 🚗👍👍🚗

Mr brown and mr Otto are good instructors. Mr Brown can also spit absolute BARS. But on god . They are really good instructors in and out of the classroom.
Mr Brown is a very good instructor and I had a really good time learning to drive with him. He did great. He did good making sure the class wasn't too boring and was always very supportive on our drives with him.
Mr Brown is a great classroom instructor. Everything you learn in class is helpful for when you begin to drive on the roads. Mr Otto has made me very comfortable on the roads and parallel parking is easy. Edit: I am now being spammed by car insurance emails after giving allstar my email address. I still think the instructors in East are great, but the company is pretty rough.
Dorinda restored my faith in All Star Driving. She was very helpful in getting my son registered for the Segment 2 session.

Rite Way Driving School was excellent-we did Segment 1 for my teen daughter. She said classroom instruction was informative, clear and provided great test preparation. Driving was safe with calm, patient instruction on a variety of road settings. The owner made her feel comfortable from day one. Since the class, she has confidently and safely practiced with us--we clearly see that great instruction shine through. I am so glad we found it and we will be returning for Segment 2.
My daughter needed a little more extra help to learn parallel parking for the road test. Mr. Bragg was professional to work with and encouraging to my daughter. She shared she enjoyed the time and felt it was very helpful for her to have this time with him.
I want to express my immense gratitude to Mr. Sidney for helping me pass my driver's test after couple of failed attempts. As an adult with minimal driving knowledge, my experience at The Rite Way Driving School was truly exceptional. Mr. Sidney Bragg, the instructor, was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and thorough in his teaching. I took my road test here and had a great experience. The examiner, Mike, was very kind and professional, which made the whole process much less stressful. He knows a lot about Chinese culture and even speaks some Chinese! I highly recommend this place for students from China. Although online booking is not available like at some other locations, scheduling over the phone was smooth and easy. Just make sure to confirm the payment method in advance to avoid any inconvenience. I came all the way from Ann Arbor—it's a bit far, but totally worth it. If you're also a Chinese student and had a good experience here, please consider recommending this test site on Xiaohongshu or other Chinese platforms to help more students in the area. Overall, a very positive experience—big thanks to Mike and the team!
Claudia was so nice and friendly and gave the best advice for future incidents if they were to occur! She was super supportive and helpful the whole course! I will be referring her to other family members to take the test with her! She got in me in within 24 hours as well and was absolutely amazing. This is not biased and you may ask her about me. Dean is a great instructor with a calm demeanor. I was not confident about driving in city or freeway but with only four classes with Dean, I have made significant progress and can drive confidently. Took the driving lessons with the lady and passed their road test on the first try. She picked me up at my home/work and she was always punctual. She was an excellent teacher and I trusted her in keeping myself safe operating the car as an inexperienced driver. The examiner was professional, gave clear instructions and kept the examination process smooth and pleasant.

What do you expect for the price 🤷🏽♀️smh ask all the questions don't miss any classes and pay more when u start then what they tell you or u don't get to drive a car!....wait I thought this was drivers training ????35 doller if your ride is late or miss a class smh. Very rude staff and very unprofessional behaviors.
Would not recommend paid 450 for segment 1 and 2. But when time for road test it would be an additional 350. Try other driving school before this one!!!

I took my drivers test with Al A. He was exceptional, patient and understanding. He was an exceptional instructor! Very much loved! I recommend him to any new drivers!
I had a very nice experience and was told very clearly on what to do. I passed and had a great time. My dad liked the entire process and the advice given.
Mugabo was very nice and welcoming, compared to others that I’ve had for previous testing. Others have always made my anxiety very bad but Mugabo did not at all!
Went to go take my road test, got there 5 minutes before my appointment I went inside to go check in and the sign said to go wait in the back of goodwill. We went to the red cones and waited there for an extra 10 minutes before I had to get out of the car to ask what I was supposed to be doing cause NOTHING said anything about approaching anyone. I was supposed to be with Denise P she was EXTREMELY rude the minute I walked up to her I was very nice I said hi in a very sweet tone despite being irritated because I didn’t know what I was supposed to be doing. She then proceeded to tell me that she called my name 3 times when she in fact did not and said that she talked to the others that were there before me which she also did not do. She was extremely unprofessional and handled it with such disrespect. I have called at least 7 different times since to try and talk to someone about rescheduling or a refund and absolutely no response. This place is a complete scam I would NOT take your kids here.
This place is a scam, they literally fail you over anything very bad service and rude most examiners are very rude they try to rush over the test when I’m trying to ask a question and say I got people waiting in line that is so rude, they want no mistake to pass on the road otherwise they fail you over small stuff so they can rob your money and ask you to schedule again those examiners are not nice we are already nervous and they talk to us not in a friendly way if we make one mistake they make stupid faces and talk to us in a rude way to make us nervous. I was with Jenice she got so angry when I made one mistake and talk in a rude way. Please take your money somewhere else if you want to pass they need to be nice on the new drivers and talk in a polite way. They make you feel nervous during the test by not being nice to you and put pressure on you during the test. They notice how nervous you are and test your intelligence by not giving clear directions they don’t tell me where to make a turn all they say is turn left in a place where you can’t make a left turn and they don’t answer you when you ask questions like where do you want me to make a turn they mindfully test your brain so you can fail the test and ask you to schedule again. Honestly should have went somewhere else before failing 3 times.

I came to Jamie with no previous driving experience and had bad anxiety at 30 years old. The Instructor has a lot of patience and is very knowledgeable about driving. He made it very easy to learn and answered any questions I had. Even picks you up from your house at no extra charge. Very chill and friendly dude. Highly recommend!

Mr Derrick is the worst teacher he can’t hold a decent sentence without making it utterly impossible to understand what he is saying or he will slur his words. He was extremely rude and unprofessional in class. I will NEVER recommend Allstar to anyone at all.

The WORST customer service. They have no one available to answer the phone EVER and they do not respond to email inquiries. My son just finished the course (Segment 1) and had 3 makeup classes. He took those at the next in person course per his instructor. Now, we keep getting email saying he is enrolled in online makeup sessions that he should not have to take, but cannot get a hold of anyone to clear this up. He isn't able to get his certificate and we can't get any help.
