This driving school is fantastic Mr. Sian is the best instructor, he is very patient and will definitely help you to pass your road test.

Tesfu DC Driving School is a wonderful choice. I was a relapsed driver, and decided to try this school. Got my learner's permit and signed up for 4 hours of road practice with them. Both Rasul and Isaiah were great instructors and helped me hone my parallel parking as well. Rasul even came to assist me during my actual road practice, which I passed on my first try. Definitely pick this school!
Today I passed my road test, because of the amazing driving instructor I had. He was patient with me, helped me so much and was confident in me that I could do it. I appreciate him so much. I really like the Tesfu Dc Driving school, they have patient and very polite driving instructor. If your looking for a teacher that will take their time and show you the way book at Tesfu Dc Driving, I couldn’t have done it without his help honestly. The picture is me and my instructor practicing at 7am in the morning before my road test to insure I was even more ready and confident, and that’s to show you how much he really care about you and your driving and passing your road test.
I highly recommend this driving school. I went to Tesfu driving school after a poor experience at another driving school in dc and wish I went here sooner. As an anxious driver, Tesfu was incredibly patient and provided expert driving advice. Through his kind help, I was able to pass my driving test and become a more confident driver. The price of lessons is well worth it.

I had a really amazing and great experience learning to drive from Gmel. Gilbert is a very great teacher and gave clear instructions to follow that made the process easy. This makes the session efficient and very productive. He’s very nice too, always picked me up and promptly responded whenever I contacted him. I had a smooth process to pass my road test working with Gmel and I’ll highly recommend signing up with them. Just don’t be in a rush and give yourself time to have a couple more lessons till you’re comfortable and you’d do great.
Gmel was absolutely amazing, very professional and a wonderful person. I took 2 refresher lessons with him and passed my road test yesterday. He thought me a lot a great tips to ace the parallel parking and gave me the boost of confidence I needed to overcome the fear of the test. Highly recommended!!
Gmel was an awesome instructor and did a phenomenal job providing advice and guidance on the road. Haven't driven much before meeting Gmel but I felt more at ease with driving the more sessions I had with him. He knew the city well and gave amazing recommendations for improvement every time! Additionally, what I liked the most was that he did not get annoyed or frustrated when mistakes were made, only gave constructive criticism. Passed the driver's exam!
My driving instructor, Gilbert, was absolutely amazing. I took lessons with him for about 2 weeks, and I just passed my road test today on the first try! I've never been behind the wheel before, but the instructor made me feel comfortable and more confident about being on the road. Also, the prices for the lessons are really good compared to other driving schools in DC. I highly recommend this driving school if you're looking for one.
Gilbert is a wonderful driving instructor. I decided to take his refresher course because after years of not having a car and mainly using public transit, I am planning to purchase one soon. Gilbert is much better than the driving instructors I had as a teenager. He provides great tips, clear instructions, and doesn't make you feel bad for making mistakes. He is able to expertly and calmly maneuver the car to avoid near accidents while you are learning. I had great driving sessions with him and highly recommend his classes.

The work that Mr. Ish and Mr. Teddy do is amazing! I took four 2-hour sessions with Mr. Teddy, and I saw an immediate shift in my confidence when it came to driving. I honestly could’ve taken my test after those 8 hours. Mr. Teddy was very patient, and he never yelled at me or made me feel like I was a bad driver or that the world was over after any mistake. I would (and do) recommend DC Stars Driving School to anyone who is learning how to drive!
This is the best driving school! I had a great experience with knowledgeable instructors. After failing a couple of times with another school, I finally passed my test easily here. My instructor, Tadiyos, was really chill and patient he teaches you everything you need and makes you feel much more confident behind the wheel. Highly recommend this driving school in DC!
Dc star driving school is the best. Great instructors, very professional in their teaching. vary helpful. I had great experience during my driving training. AMAZING!! I can't thank Mr. Ish enough! I only had 2 sessions and felt so confident. He was super informative and patient. I also want to thank Mr. Teddy for my hour before road test session and car usage. I felt so confident and they give so much praise when you are getting it! I'll recommend this school over and over. If you need to learn how to drive, don’t hesitate, pick DC Star. I was nervous about driving and booked a few lessons. Mr. Ish and Mr. Teddy were both amazing teachers, patient and kind. They get you to practice on the actual test route so that by the time the test happens you are already familiar with the roads. They also taught parallel parking with cones. I passed on my first try! I even got to do a 1 hour lesson before and use their car. 100% recommend!

I highly recommend Ethio Star Driving School! After failing my first road test with another driving school, I decided to give Ethio Star a try after seeing their students consistently pass at the Deanwood testing center. Their instructors are incredibly patient, kind, and professional, which made all the difference in my confidence and skills. I took two lessons with them, and their teaching style was so effective that I passed my test with ease. I especially recommend booking a one-hour or two-hour lesson right before your road test—it’s a great deal, especially when bundled with their car rental. Renting their car for the test makes a huge difference! The setup for parallel parking is much more manageable compared to using the DMV’s tightly parked cars, which is a big reason I struggled the first time. Even the security guard at the parking lot recommended Ethio Star to me after my first failed attempt—he’s seen so many test takers and had nothing but great things to say about them, and now I see why! If you’re looking for a driving school that truly sets you up for success, Ethio Star is the way to go.

I was having trouble with parallel parking & hand placement when turning . On Jan 1st I booked a 2 hour session . He gave me excellent pointers by the end of the session I finally got the parallel parking and my hand placement when turning .My road test was Jan 2 because of Mr.Hailu I was confident and passed it !! Mr. Hailu is the best instructor.
I highly recommend Hailu T. Argaw from Integration Driving School. My son recently completed his driving lessons with Hailu, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Hailu is patient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. His calm demeanor helped my son feel at ease behind the wheel, and his clear, constructive feedback greatly improved my son's driving skills. We live in the Brightwood area, and setting up appointments was very easy. I suggest opting for the 12-hour session. Two weeks ago, I took the driving test with Dr. Smith and he is the BEST!!! I forgot my permit 20 minutes before my test and he was so understanding. My mom and I went home to get it and he was still willing to give me the test. I was really nervous, but he made it easier for me by just making the car a comfortable environment. I am so happy that I passed and that Dr. Smith was the person who gave me the test. If you want a GREAT driving test and experience, then PLEASE go to CAS Driving School.
Best ever third party I took my road test with CAS Driving School, and it was a great experience. I was nervous because I failed previously. But he made me feel comfortable. I greatly appreciate his ability to put me at ease during my Road test. I passed Highly recommend
Took driving lessons and road skills test with CAS, it’s easy to book time via the app. Don’t hesitate to call them if you need to move an appointment or would like to find a possible late booking and they sometimes can accommodate. I’d like to particularly call out and thank MM. Morrison and Smith for helping me with the lessons, and Ms. Arica for finding me bookings in a busy calendar!
My experience with CAS was seamless and yielded the intended result! Michael, my instructor, was so patient, taught me clean driving habits from the get-go, and offered words of encouragement all throughout. Ms. Elaine Butler is an AMAZING driving instructor!!! My daughter had lessons with Ms. Elaine from January to May 2021. My daughter passed her road test on the first try. Dexterity driving school is the best driving school ever! I passed my road test on the first try. Idriss is really helpful and patient. He gives great tips and will help you learn with ease. I would recommend this to anyone learning to drive for the first time or to those with experience. Overall, the service was phenomenal!
I had a blast learning with Mr. Jules! He appeases to all learning styles. He isn't aggressive, the atmosphere in the car is perfect for anyone who is nervous about driving. I can parrell park into any space thanks to him! He's a great instructor, I can't wait to learn how to drive clutch!
extremely unprofessional. cancelled my behind the wheel appointment and didn’t even contact me to inform me of this I had to call myself to see what was going on. I have yet to recieve a refund because the guy in the office (doesn’t want to be bothered). Do not go to this driving school.

Horribly disgusted! I scheduled an appointment FOR MY BIRTHDAY! via online and on that day i was angry that they stood me up. I had called them 20 times since their "opening time" which was 9'o clock and they not did answer me until it was 30 mins over my supposed pick up time which was 10 o clock. They said i was not on the schedule and basically told me that they didnt check there online schedules and that they were sorry. This busy is horrible whats the point in having an online website that takes appointments when they do not check it
