I just pass my exam this past Friday 26th on my first try👍, I wonna give a big thanks to Alex, Eric and Ron for taking their time to explain every question i had and their patience..I didnt know nothing at all and they took there time to show me how to drive stick shift, and how to learn the pre-trip, maneuvers and air-breaks... I highly recommend this trucking school to everyone here in bakersfield 💯%.. Si Se puede!!!👍👍

A very great school and a fantastic experience. Before signing up for the school, Alex was able to work around my schedule, having me come to the yard on Wednesdays and Thursdays (driving all the way from San Diego to Bakersfield, and then spending the night) every week. Alex and Erik were able to give me as much time as possible to practice my maneuvers due to the distance traveled to arrive at the yard. They will teach you the pre-trips but you will have homework and practice on your own time to memorize every detail and step of every inspection. Ron is the one who takes you out on the road to practice driving after you get your permit. He is a great instructor and an incredibly patient guy. All three of these instructors work a very good team, and I would highly recommend signing up for the school, especially the price you cannot beat it.

Definitely the best school if your looking to get the most out of your money. All three teachers (Alex, Ron, and Cee-Jay) are very knowledgeable in this industry and they help you the best they can, the rest is up to you to put in the time and work to be able to pass your test. Teachers here help you out 1 on 1 if your struggling on something and they don't get mad or irritated if you can't get it right they keep helping you. Classes take about 7-8 weeks, i passed on my first try. This school even tries to help you with finding a job after you get your license, because they care about you even after you graduate.

I recently got my class A license and I attended western truck school. It was a very interesting experience! I took the weekend class. Rannie and the instructors are very helpful and they all know what they are talking about. I recommend attending western truck school.
Greatest experience I have had in persuing a career choice . If I had to start over I would still choose western truck school . Rannie was the greatest and so hands on and made sure that I finished there with a class a license . Matt was so patient with teaching me all I needed to know to get my license as well . Hands down 2 of the greatest people I have ever had to learn from . I loved the motivation they gave me and never give up on me even when I was almost close on giving up on myself . Western Truck School was very friendly and informative on the material. We had an overall amazing experience with this driving school. We purchased the online course & the behind the wheel driving classes. My son’s driving instructor Ish was very accommodating, he was very knowledgeable and helped my son work on his weaknesses. He was really friendly which made my son feel very comfortable while taking his classes. I would highly recommend Akal driving school & Ish. My son passed his DMV test!
This person has ridiculous service for elders people. He used all my fathers info for the dmv . First, he got my driver permit Pic from me, and then he made four different appointments with dmv , those appointment he used for different people so they could take the behind the wheel test. He should not make those appointments without my fathers permission, which if you haven't met my father ,and he never gave my father any training on behind the wheel. Very Very Very Ridiculous servicer. He has a school for behind the wheel tests, but he doesn't want to train people if they are older than 30 years. I never heard any law from DMV that has required drivers license for people. From DMV any age people can get a license. I don't think Ravi is a good trainer to get a license.

One of the best trucking school in Bakersfield. I got my manual driving license within 2 weeks. All staff members are very good. They explained each and every thing in detail. I really appreciate chirag din Sir . The owner RANA did propper well maintained trucks and techniques .

Great school, great teachers, they got me ready within 2weeks and a half. Had zero experience and in those two weeks they taught me what I needed to learn to pass my exams: pretrip, air brakes, in cab inspection skills and road. Megan is a great instructor!! The first lesson is split in half with lecture and behind the wheel practice, but very informative in regards to what will be on the dmv test and emphasis on the rules of the road. She is incredibly patient and makes you feel safe and confident behind the wheel. I was very nervous during my first lesson, but I felt more at ease as the lesson went on. Highly recommend to others in Bakersfield!! They came to me in the southwest area :)
My experience for my first lesson was absolutely amazing, heavy thanks to Daniel for giving me a fun, entertaining, educational experience. I was very nervous about driving however I was able to find comfort due to Daniels tutelage. Thank you a1 driving, and my instructor for giving me such an enlightening experience on how I can drive safely.

Very Professional Driving school, Love the 2017 Dodge Chargers and Challengers they use. Great price especially for the experience of the Instructors.
Unprofessional. Never answer the phones, never available, and never return my phone calls even after leaving a message. Either hire more staff or close. Genuinely a waste of time calling them.
Extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior of one of this school's driving instructors. While walking my dogs in my quiet residential neighborhood (which has no sidewalks), I moved aside to let their car pass—only to be rudely yelled at by the instructor for "walking in the middle of the road." I’m attaching a photo of my street to show that it’s impossible not to be “in the middle of the road.” With no sidewalks and cars parked on either side, pedestrians have no other option but to walk in the street. Pedestrians have the right to use residential streets when sidewalks aren’t available (California Vehicle Code §21956), and drivers should know to share the road. Instead, this instructor set a terrible example for their student, teaching them that it’s okay to disregard pedestrian rights and behave aggressively. I’ve walked my dogs here for years and have seen other driving schools use my neighborhood to train new drivers—never have I experienced this kind of disrespect. I expected a driving instructor to teach patience and safe driving—not hostility. I hope this company takes steps to train their instructors better.

Brad is the coolest person ever
My experience with Kern Driving School was great. They always called me the day before my appointment. My instructor was AJ and he is the best! Make sure you ask for him. He is usually busy but he is worth your money. I took my DMV only once and passed!

I took drivers education and driving training both at Kern Driving and Traffic School. My experience with them was GREAT!!! They taught me the rules of the road, and I Passed my permit test the 1st time. They picked me up for my drivers training and even went on the freeway on my second lesson. I have recommended Kern Driving and Traffic School to all my friends.

Very paitent and experienced Tutors. Advice you to go to test when you really can pass. Sam was my driving tutor. Awsome man with very good experience and patience. Motivated me and pushed me to go to the test though I thought I need more time to get there. Passed test with great satisfaction
My son sat in their class for a week and still didn't pass the written test. Office staff is rude and incompetent. Brad is also quite rude. Read all the small print, they will hold you to it. Wasted our time. I had pay Shafter Driving School another $100 to complete his BTW training. Wish I had used them from the beginning.
