Super clear and practical lessons made driving so fun and easy. He was very flexible with timings and after just a few lessons I was able to pass the behind-the-wheel test first time! Would recommend to anyone. Reasonable pricing too!
Very fast with replies and has plenty of convenient time slots available for students with a variety of schedule needs! Andrew’s a very good teacher and has lots of good advice to give when you make mistakes so you’ll be better prepared for a DMV test and driving around Los Angeles.
Andrew is a great instructor. I got 4 lessons from him before practicing on my own. He is very thorough with his lesson plans. He makes sure you are calm and confident when you practice. Passed my test on first go. I highly recommend him for your training.
Mr. Andrew’s driving school very professional. He’s fee is fair, more far than most schools. I started using LA private driving almost a yr ago I fail back in Feb Andrew was more upset then me he a really support of person almost like your uncle or big brother i decided to take it again yesterday and I passed he makes the lessons less stressful and he do not make you feel uncomfortable and you can tell its not all about the money like other driving schools I been too he has a caring heart and that's why I decided to go back to him after I failed so I could retake my test 7 months later and he still remembered me his personality makes you wanna come back. ps when I told him I pass he jumped for joy before I took it he said your getting it today because you can drive he really spoke life into me and thank you and Andrew I wish I would of took pictures to post smh

easy to apply, really only $5, read through everything and took mini tests in between, final exam was 25 questions which were very common sense

I had a pleasant experience with Primo driving school. Staffs were very polite and friendly. But most importantly, I have nothing but praise for my driving instructor/teacher Eduardo Alvior. I can vouch for only him, but he is really a good teacher. He has the patience to work with the students. He doesn't mind explaining the same thing again until we get it. He even has a small whiteboard and toy cars to explain things! I think good instructors like him are not easy to find because I took one class with another driving school before going to Primo, and that was a bad experience. I'm glad I got Eduardo as my teacher. I cleared the test on my first attempt as well! If you are looking for a good driving instructor, I recommend Eduardo 100%.
I have passed my driving test at Santa Monica recently. I have taken classes with Brandon and Regis. They are the best!! I have become a safe and confident driver on following their tips and guidance. The staffs Jaylyn and Diamond have helped me a lot with scheduling the DMV appointments. I highly recommend Primo driving school to anyone who is determined in learning to drive.
My driving instructor Askari is the best instructor I have ever worked with hands down! Ever since I started driving, I have been a nervous driver. Askari was always reassuring, kind, and patient; even when I was unsure or feeling anxious. With the help of Askari, I was able to get my drivers license from the multitude of lessons that I took with him, that weren’t only educational but fun. He turned the stress of beginning to learn how to drive, into something you look forward to because of his fun and easy going personality. Askari was constantly boosting my confidence, encouraging me, and good at letting me know what adjustments I could make moving forward. Overall I could not recommend Askari more, definitely if you want to get your license fast and have an easygoing and understanding instructor, book with Askari!
Highly recommended for non-US drivers! Eddy was fantastic today. I have been driving for 30yrs but moved here from Australia and wanted a lesson before my test in a couple of weeks. Eddy has really given me a clear picture of what to expect, corrected many little mistakes I was making and given me the confidence I need that my test will go well. Money well spent (even though I've been driving for decades). Update: I passed first try!
My experience with Primo Driving school was wonderful! Their online driving course was quite comprehensive and I felt very prepared to take my permit test. After I passed my permit test I took my lessons with multiple people, all amazing and helpful, though Askari in particular stood out! I now have my license! Thank you Primo!

The best driving school I could’ve ever asked for. They helped me since the start and gain confidence behind the wheel. I was able to get both my drivers license and permit without having any trouble. Cathy is one of the driving instructor and to me, she’s the best. She helped me gain confidence quickly and you’d expect to be awkward when you first go for a class but it’s the complete opposite. Cathy makes you feel comfortable and she teaches you the best way possible. I highly recommend CNC driving school if you’re trying to get behind the wheel asap.

My son just passed his driving test I wasn’t expecting it to happen first try!! seeing how his always needed extra help in school with IEP but this place and the instructor Rafael was great and very patient with my son and the office person Cindy was great with the schedule she gave him and her customers service was awesome, they made it happen and I’m so proud he was able to keep up with the lesson and pass his driving test first try. I highly recommend this school for any parent needing that boost and confidence that our kids some times need.

I did my 6 hours of driving practice with Daniel and he was absolutely the best. He was super easy to talk to and informed me about all the little ways the driving examiners try to mark you off. He improved my braking and decision making significantly in the short time we were together, and gave me so much more needed confidence for my driving test. If you go to Franshez trust me, ask for Daniel.

I wasn’t sure how I was going to get my license until I started researching driving schools and the answer was right there. I went with this school because of proximity to my place, and it was very easy to schedule. I knew if I didn’t like the instructor I would obviously try a different school. My instructor Daniel was able to ease the apprehension at being able to achieve the driving portion of the exam. And after three lessons I passed my driving exam. I would say that I learned how to make safe judgements on the road and never questioned what I needed to do. I’m very thankful to Daniel for his support and expertise in helping me overcome this hurdle.
Daniel’s the best! He’s super patient, explains things really clearly, and makes driving lessons way less stressful. Even when I messed up, he stayed calm and helped me figure it out without making me feel bad. He’s friendly, easy to talk to, and actually makes learning to drive fun. Definitely recommend him to anyone learning to drive!

I found Urban Traffic School on the DMV website. It was quite easy to sign up for and the process from start to finish was fairly easy. I was able to complete the course in one sitting. As for the course itself, it was a good amount of reading but it does prepare you for the quizzes and final exam. Overall it was a great experience. I will definitely reccomend Urban Traffic School to my friends and family.
Great Company. They provide very easy to follow instructions to guide you through the process. The courses are easy and questions on quizzes and final exam are common sense question that are easy to pass. It took me around 30 min to finish. I highly recommend this company.
Its was pretty smooth and hassle free. The course was nicely laid out and the instructions were pretty clear. There are a total of 5 chapters with 2 or 3 sections each. After finishing each chapter, there is a test which helps you review the content which you just read. The website itself is well made and to-the-point. In all I had a very nice experience and would totally recommend it to everyone.

Senait is a wonderful teacher who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Her tone is patient and kind, and she taught me defensive driving skills beyond what was being tested, i.e driving on the freeway. I just moved to the US, and decided to take classes with Senait to brush up on my driving skills before taking the test. After 3 lessons with her, I passed on my first try with only 1 demerit point! I can’t recommend Senait enough, especially if you’re based near Culver City DMV.

My overall experience of this establishment is a 10/10. The staff working here is more than friendly and more than capable of teaching you the proper protocols to driving in a safe manner. Very bad experience. The coach doesn't really want to teach you, but just wants to suppress you. He doesn't teach you the things that can really pass the test. He just wants you to pay more money.

We highly recommend this school for working with us and our 17 year old with disabilities. I called so many schools and they were the only ones who took the time to ask the questions and try using the paddle extenders to help our kid learn. We are proud to say she is now a licensed driver! I went to take my driving test and failed with 18 mistakes the first time. Went a second time and failed with 16. After my family convinced me, I came here and did the three day course. I had two instructors who were fantastic! Both super friendly and I truly felt like they wanted me to pass this test. Went over everything that could possibly be on the exam and even gave me tips specific to the area where I was taking my test. I always felt comfortable asking them questions and they were always super helpful. I took my test a few days after my final lesson and passed with only 6 mistakes! Strongly recommend if you're having trouble with passing the test!

Never in my life have I met somebody so knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Josh didn’t rush me at all and gave me reassuring advice. I previously went to a driving school that charged MORE and I basically learned nothing. My first lesson with Josh was amazing cant wait for the rest! I definitely recommend!

I passed my test on 11/24/21 and I have to say this is a great school they literally give you everything you need and focus on what you need to pass your test and provide you with the skills needed to pass. I went in not knowing how to drive stick shift and they were more than happy to teach me. I am happy to say thanks to GSF truck driving school they have given me the opportunity to be a class A license driver. The staff and instructors are caring and very friendly they provide you with any help you may need and answer any questions you might have and are on top of things and your classes. Thank you very much! I highly recommend it if you are looking to get a class A or class B license.
This is one of the best school and it's guaranteed you'll pass! The instructors are very helpful especially Elias, so if you get Elias you're lucky! Elias techniques are really easy to remember, he gave me the 123 Mississippi and that stuck with me to pass my skills, Franky is really good on walk arounds he will tell every part of the trailer and you'll remember it, the people in the office are very nice and up-to-date and they are fast responders, GSF school is what I recommend for you guys to come and practice, they have patience, and will teach you really good
Great one on one learning experience. The instructors are determined to work with you individually to make sure you are ready for your DMV test. They also give plenty of tips from past experience themselves. GSF is very professional when it comes to scheduling and teaching. Their staff is very welcoming and know what they are doing. One of the best investments I ever did. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that would like to obtain their class A or B license.
GSF Trucking school is hands down the best trucking school in the SoCal region! I had been searching for the right trucking school for 5 months and out of 4 schools I came across, GSF stood out to me and I’m glad i decided to go with GSF! I had the pleasure of attending the Los Angeles location and i must say that after attending this school, i am glad i pulled through with GSF! Their material to teach their students is honestly very thorough. I passed my DMV test 1st attempt🙏. Of course it’s also about how much effort you put in for your CDL A, but out of the 4 schools i looked into, GSF took much greater care of me, the office staff are very friendly, the instructors taught me how to drive a manual 10-speed in a big Semi-Truck and are extremely patient, thorough, and give you their 100%!! If you are in the Los Angeles area shooting for your Class-A license, honestly don’t waste your time anywhere else. GSF will take great care of you and teach you the right way, explain to you why what they’re teaching you is important in the real world of truck driving, and more importantly will make you feel comfortable inside that truck! OUTSTANDING!! I highly recommend GSF Trucking for anyone looking to get their class a. This is coming from myself, a person who had absolutely no knowledge of being a truck driver. They taught me how to correct all my mistakes while doing my straight backing, offset, parallel and docking. I didn't know how to drive a manual transmission, let alone double clutching, but the instructors at GSF helped me grind it out and correct all my mistakes while I was out on the road training. It's best to make all your mistakes at school, and recognizing your mistakes so you'll know where to correct them at the DMV. Three weeks after I got my permit, and 30 hours on the program, I'm excited to say I am officially a CDL class A graduate from GSF. Courtney who answered all my questions from day one. Carlos who is responsible for guiding me into the right direction to obtain my permit. Sergio, Juan, Frank and another instructor which by the way, I forgot his name, gave me the last bit of advice I needed to pass my skills test at the DMV on 3/20/2019. Every instructor was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and had the upmost patience with me to guide me from day one up until the date of my exam to pass my test on my 1st try!! And to Angelina, who was the instructor at the DMV, gave me all the tips and advice I needed to help me compose myself and focus during my exam. She is so nice and your biggest fan cheering you on while you're performing your test. 1 on 1 training, money well invested into this school for a better future and career for myself and my family. Abel's driving school was great, called them when I booked an appointment for my driving test, and they set up driving sessions with instructors accordingly. Had a total of 2 sessions, with Instructors Luis and Antero. Both sessions were great, and the instructors were friendly. Learnt a lot very quickly. I also requested a vehicle and instructor to drive me to the actual test. Luis accompanied me. First guiding me through the test routes, then waiting at the DMV while the test was completed. Passed the test on the first try! Overall a very good experience. Would highly recommend.
Amazing driving school! I took a 2 hour lesson two days prior to my driving test and passed that test after multiple test fails in the past. Shoutout to Miguel Bautista for helping me prepare and being an awesome instructor.

The best driving school in Cali. I can say I really started nothing, I don't know how to drive at all. I am searching for good driving schools in Cali til I found Chase. I heard a lot of good things about Chase and I want to experience it on my own for me to believe with what they''re saying. When you inquire with Chase, you will have to talk to their secretary and her name is Maro, believe me, she's really friendly and helpful, she will assist you til you got your license. from scheduling until the day of your exam at DMV, she's really the best. And of course, our favorite teacher Soren! This guy is really superb! I remember my 1st day I was really nervous driving. But hey! this guy will not you let feel nervous! he will change and explain everything! He will not leave you til you get your license! You'll learn and explore if you enroll with them. I highly recommend this school and you'll not regret spending your money. but wait, their price is really not high compare to others. it's affordable to everyone! Suren is the best teacher I’ve encountered & I’ve had 2 instructors & a failed driving test before I came to Chase driving school. He explains everything in detail, shows you the best places & is good at helping you improve whatever you’re not confident at. 10/10. Highly recommend.

The price was reasonable and the communication with the owner was fairly good, sadly it didn’t turn out well. My daughter had a different instructor for each of her 3 lessons. Each instructor contradicted what the other one had said. After repeatedly requesting if they would drive the test area for her last class and go over what was on the test. And repeatedly being told that was no problem, on the day of the class, the instructor told her that area was ‘too busy’ to drive and showed her how to ‘back up’ and they drove around for 2 hours. This after my daughter has over 200 hours behind the wheel and was trying to prepare for the test as promised. Very disappointing. Also after asking to switch her lesson time the day before and my daughter replying she couldn’t because she had somewhere to go, he proceeded to pick up his next lesson and drop her home 30minutes late
Jorge is an incredible instructor!! He helped me pass my driving test in my first attempt! He is very patient, encouraging, attentive and kind; I was very nervous and he helped me gain confidence behind the wheel. So, I flunked my first driving test but then stumbled upon this driving school where Mr.Donovan was my Instructor. After just two sessions with him, I felt way more confident behind the wheel. He totally got that I'm a quiet person and really helped me shake off my nerves. Today, I nailed my driving test! Huge shoutout to Mr. Donovan for all his awesome support and guidance.

As for the prospective clients of this school/program, if you're taking driving lessons, I would recommend Donovan because he's such a loose, laid-back type of guy. I never felt he was overbearing on me when I went driving around the city, and I feel that's important when you drive (no pressure). Choosing to go with 1st Choice was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I met with Donovan three times and I learned so much from him. First thing he did was make sure I had a behind the wheel test appointment all set up and I was so positive that I wouldn’t show up because I felt it was too soon for me to fully grasp and understand driving. I started off as a terrified first time driver and now almost a month later, I surely ended up showing up to my appointment and passed my exam yesterday first try and am now licensed! Donovan was very patient and made you feel comfortable even when you were terrified and not so confident with driving. By the time our third lesson came my confidence increased tremendously. Absolutely the best option to learn how to drive in LA. It's a daunting task to learn how to drive but they are ready to teach you no matter what it takes. What you need to do is trust in the process and do your own homework on youtube as well. Sophia, as many people may have already mentioned, is a gem. She is there for you and wants you to do well. She's strict when she has to be and will do whatever she can to help you learn what you need to. Harry is an amazing instructor to go to the test with as well. Prices may seem a little steep for some things like the test but it is well worth it. If you needed a review to help you choose a driving school, this is the one. Good luck! Drive Safe! P.S. I'd recommend going to Glendale for the test.
Isaac was an awesome teacher, he was super friendly and made the driving experience so much more fun. He gave me a lot of very useful tips about the ways of the road that only comes from having experience of driving, and he was very patient and not judgmental at all. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to gain more confidence in driving, especially for the affordable price that they offer.
I had a a great time and experience with this driving school. I had Juan, Ray and Sophia as instructors. They are all very knowledgeable and teach you what you need to know for the driving test. With the lessons I took with Beverly Driving School, I was able to pass the driving test on my first try! I highly recommend this driving school for anyone considering taking driving lessons.

Beverly Driving school is an excellent choice for individuals who are beginners. All the staff here are great and professional. Juan was my instructor for all my lessons and was very patient and polite. The lessons helped me tremendously and were a stress-free experience. Great organization. Great instructors. I first started riding motorcycles in March of 2020. Now in May of 2021, after 4 school (2-3 day) events with CSS, I am able to place mid pack in the Advanced Group on track days with guys that have been riding their whole lives!!
Hands down the best money spent on improving my riding. I've been stuck in the "B" group. Wasn't really slow, but not fast enough to join Advanced. I attended a 2 day camp and by the end of the second day I managed to shave 10 seconds off my lap times. Great school. If you apply what you've learned in class and on track, you will be a better, faster rider when you leave. Thanks, Lonnie! You helped me big time!!!!
I was relatively new to road biking but I really wanted to learn to ride well. This school is a really professional operation. The bikes were incredible. In October 2019 we road the 2020 BMW S1000RR M. They have a very serious and well planned curriculum that teaches riding skills in the class room and on the track. There were some incredible riders but there were some that were just learning. The program works for everyone. This program does not necessarily focus on going fast. You can go fast for sure, but they don’t push lap times. They focus on track riding skills and let the speed come at an individual rate. Most people in my class were enthusiastically ready to attend the next level. They also really listen to student feedback.

My experience with this driving school has been great!! I just completed the first 6 hrs and can confidently say that I owe my driving instructor, Perla, a huge thanks. She always had a great attitude and her corrections while driving were calm, collected, and most importantly helpful. You can tell she really cares about all her students and loves her job. She really helped me build my confidence behind the wheel. I highly recommend her if you choose to get lessons here.
I bought the 18 hour training course with the driver's test and am so glad I did. My daughter drove with one instructor, Jose, and she thought he was the best. I appreciated that students are assigned to one instructor instead of having to acclimate to several. Jose was very kind and patient. I appreciated how they handle the DMV visit from start to finish. WOW. I found Route 66 driving school online and am glad that I did. Customer Service A+, Cars (Mini-Cooper) A+, Instructor A+, Overall Experience A+++. Excellent instructor and was very patient in helping me learn and get over my fear of driving. J.P was great instructor...class was both informative and entertaining. Considering the serious topic of traffic violation subject, the class was not boring. The only inconvenience was the lack of desks (or tables) in the classroom.
Never got to drive because this company would not answer the phone at all. I really feel like I got scammed. I paid for three lessons and didn't get an email confirmation, their website is outdated, and they would answer the phone during business hours. This is my second day trying to get in contact with them. I will be demanding a refund :/
I was completely new to driving and had Geo as my instructor. He was a great teacher and extremely patient with me. He goes over driving rules and techniques pretty meticulously and also understands very well that each person has his/her own unique driving style. I took five classes and could feel the difference between how I started and finished. I got my license at my first attempt too! Thanks, Geo and A1!! :)
Thank you Geo! Received my Cali DL first go at the Santa Monica DMV. I recently moved to LA from Australia - I have been driving for 30 years but wanted a single lesson a few days before my test to brush up and understand what the testers would be looking for. I had my own car and Geo took me around the area where the test would be. He was really clear, and concise in his instruction. He picked up on my strengths and weaknesses straight away, and at the same time instilled me with confidence in my ability. It was interesting that just driving around so many scenarios came up that were pertinent to passing my test. Geo knows many of the DMV testers and has great local knowledge of SM and also many other areas on the west side. Geo is really easy and fun to be with and the two hour lesson just flew by. I loved my experience at A1! My driver was Christi, and she taught me everything I needed to know before taking the test. She answered all of my questions, and was super patient with me. I purchased three lessons, and took my behind the wheel test the day after my last lesson, and I passed. Definitely a great choice!

People are Unfriendly and very uncomfortable to be around. I signed up for the regular 6 hours behind the wheel training (witch is $240)when I first signed up I asked if there was lessons that taught how to drive a manual transmission I was told no over the phone but during my first actual lesson in an automatic car the instructor told me I could. After my lesson they said it would be an additional $78 for the manual lessons. Then during the manual lesson the car breaks down and it's been 2 months and they continue to tell me that they are still working on the car. Please take your business elsewhere these people do not know what they are doing.
I needed to take the CA driving test after moving from a foreign country. Gustavo was a great instructor for the one hour test prep and I easily passed with his help. Reasonable price, I’d highly recommend Community Driving School!
If I could give 10 's i would the receptionist is amazing she is professional thoughtful and will find a way. My 16 yr old has dyslexia and they accommodated her needs and was very patient. Now first let me tell you I called every place where I live in LA they either don't speak English enough to communicate or to lazy to drive to your house but still want full money these places near my home were way cheaper but remember you get what you pay for. So I called Community Driving school in Whittier and they drove to my home in L.A. I'm not gonna lie they cost a bit more but you get what you pay for and as parents we want a company we can trust with our kids. The instructor is amazing my daughter said he was very informative and instructions were easy and helpful on all aspects of driving.At the end he communicated with my husband and I on what she needed to work on, at the same time very encouraging on her strengths.They also took her to take her driving test. Save your child stress come here.. UPDATE!! My daughter passed her Driving Test on the first try with Community Driving School. She set a goal for Driving by 16yrs old when she was 7years old. They helped her execute it. They are amazing!!

Mr. Raul (the owner) was a great! Very calm and thorough in his instruction, but also kept the lesson lighthearted and fun. Had a very good experience.
This was the second school I tried after the other first school stood me up and rescheduled my appointment with someone who didn't speak the same language, must say I'm glad that happened or I wouldn't have found Raul, he's a character possibly, by what some other reviews have said but my experience was 5 Star and he was strictly buisness, not chatty and showed me everything I needed to pass my test. Really wouldn't have done so without him!
If I could leave a zero-star rating, I would. Raul is a TERRIBLE instructor. He is very unprofessional and needs to get his anger issues in check. I had been scheduled an appointment at the DMV for my driver's exam and had contacted him a few days beforehand about the arrangement. However, on the day of my exam, I had to call him to remind him of my appointment. He arrived late, as if he had forgotten all about the arrangement. I was supposed to be able to practice driving in the car an hour before my exam. However, I only had less than an hour to do so. During that time he was very rude, consistently yelling, and OVERSTEPPED my boundaries by touching the back of my head. Under no circumstances should an instructor ever have to do that. He acted as if I had been the one at fault for his tardiness. Not only that, but his junk car is ridiculously frustrating to drive in. As a result, I was extremely uncomfortable and ended up failing my exam. Would not recommend this school to anyone.
I overall had a great experience with this driving school. My driving instructor was Juan and he was really nice, he helped me learn and helped me build my confidence. He help me warm up an hour before my drive test and I passed it first try!
Kinda torn about this one. On one hand I had a great teacher, Paul, who unfortunately just retired. He was patient and understanding and made me feel safe. I passed my road test on the second try because of him. On the other hand, my first road test was completely ruined when Raul sent another instructor who I had never worked with in a car I had never driven. I believe his name was Juan. On the way to the best he became impatient and completely psyched me out. He also decided today was the day he would choose to say racist and homophobic things aloud I guess. He called me the F slur twice while on the phone with Raul and didn’t know that I could understand Spanish. He absolutely SUCKED so if you get him as a teacher, SWITCH. I wish I could recommend this place but I would say if you are part of any minority group be it LGBTQIA+, a POC…stay away from this school at all cost.

Took classes in 2019 and literally never drive again because of the way the instructor made me feel so nervous and insulted me. I still don’t want to learn to drive. But the pandemic isn’t getting better and had to get my permit again and remembered this place. It’s also just as expensive as the better places. Save ur money and go elsewhere.

100% recommend melrose driving school !! I had Aaron for my instructor for all 3 classes & learned everything i needed to know for the behind the wheel exam. After all the lessons I felt confident and ready for my exam & I passed on the first try :)
BEWARE!! They have a 24 hour cancelation policy, but don't answer the phones so you can adhere to the policy. However, you are still penalized. You would be better suited to find another driving school!!

Es una estafa no te entrenan pagas las horas de entrenamiento y te hacen esperar y solo puedes usar 20 minutos o menos “el truck” que en realidad es un junk no importa cuánto tiempo esperes para poder usar el truck 15 o 20 minutos si espera 2 o 3 horas las toman de tu tiempo de entrenamiento que pagaste aunque no estés usando el truck no merece ni siquiera una estrella que es la calificación mas baja es toy seguro que si las autoridades tomaran cartas en el asunto cerrarían esa burla de escuela y nos regresarían nuestro dinero

Aztlan Trucking is a great school. The owner is nice and tries to help you if he can. The best thing about this school is that you can learn and practice at your own pace. You can go to the school when ever you want, and practice the maneuvers as many times as you need. Only thing is you have to wait your turn to drive the truck to do the maneuver. They also teach Pre-Trip inspection and air brakes every day from 12- 3 pm. I got my CDL class A license after 3 weeks, and I only went to the school 5 times. I was able to pass my DMV test on the first try. That's all thanks to Aztlan and the great team!
