J&R Trucking School is the best. Great place to go to get your CDL. They have a good team. I would like to thank Rafa, Frank, Memo, and Juan for all the help they gave me. I’m so glad I went with J&R trucking school to get my CDL A. The staff and instructors are so nice and really care. The instructors give you individual attention and work with you every step of the way. They make the course easy to understand and their system makes it easy to remember everything you need to know for your big day at the DMV as well what you’re going to use though out your driving career. The Equipment is some of the best that I’ve seen compared to the other schools I’ve seen driving around Modesto. I highly recommend J&R trucking school if you’re looking to be a commercial driver. My instructor was really patient and also helped me feel less nervous about driving. Also very friendly and made me feel safe while I was driving.
Driving test is a big hassle in California and the traffic. thanks god we have option to choose to take the test and drive safe, If anyone in California wanna pass driving test and drive safe without hassle I highly recommend this driving school with high trained trainers and polite. Price match is better competitor compare to other schools. Five star to owner and I am happy to choose this place.

I had a wonderful experience with VIP Driving School. The instructor was very patient, explained everything about the test, and overall helped me to become a confident driver. I would recommend this school to anyone!
I thankfully received Naweed as my driving instructor and he had been a big help I wouldn’t have passed the driving test without his help. Please if you decide to up for a driving school choose vip driving and try to schedule with Naweed.

My instructor, Naweed, was the best instructor I could have asked for! He was very nice, professional, thorough, and timely. He did his best to make sure the student was comfortable and understood the things he explained before moving on. All the credit goes to him for me passing my exam with flying colors!
I’d like to bring recognition to one of the instructors, Naweed. The experience with this instructor was fairly enjoyable given that he had a friendly yet calm personality. He implied guidance and tips on how to improve driving errors and provide preparation for the driving exam. Overall, great service !

I was recommended by a friend, Safi is one of the best instructors in town and quite affordable. He explains things quite well to make things easier, he draws stuff on notepad and has little toy cars to explain any scenarios!!! He was also super excited when I passed my test :)

Today was my very first driving lesson and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor than Chelo! She made me feel so calm and confident behind the wheel, even when I was nervous at first. Her patience, clear guidance, and encouraging words truly made the experience enjoyable. I’m so grateful to be learning with someone as kind and supportive as her — can’t wait for the next lesson!

Best truck school in the valley. Great environment, best of the best instructors and staff, top of the line equipment. Recommended to everyone looking to get their class A. I have attended another school in the area and it was nothing like this one. Everyone sets you up for success and will do whatever it takes to help you. I’d give it 100 stars if I could.
This has to be the best school in Modesto in my opinion. I’m writing this review an hour after passing my DMV test the first try. I can’t be anymore grateful and happy with my experience as a student at Western Pacific. I want to thank the wonderful instructors Ismael, Jesse, Robert and Mohammad. Each of them has their way of teaching but their main goal is to set you up for success. I had the pleasure of learning from them and gaining the abilities to be a confident driver. Jose, the admission rep is also very helpful and informative with any questions or concerns I had enrolling and leading up to dmv day. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their Class A license. Lots of happy drivers that graduated from this school that wave hi whenever the truck is spotted out on the road. I’m glad to be one of them now and will forever remember my positive experience with Western Pacific.
This was a very good truck school. There was definitely times of frustration of learning how to drive the truck. However the staff, in particular, Melissa, Jonathon, and Bob all gave great advice and allowed me to learn my way. Stacy was always good with giving me the time I needed to practice before my test. I passed on my first try and I'm glad I went to them.
The school was good all the way till they got paid, then they didn't care if ya pass the dmv skills or not. I've heard of many students, my brother went to another school in Modesto, maby of the students were also victims of the same service I encountered. If ya have the $$ to throw away an don't care if ya get the full support needed to successfully obtain ur CDL not just the school certificate, I would look elsewhere. They gladly take ur $$ and will leave you at the DMV finish line and keep on going to the next student. Even of you tell them u need more skills practice, they'll allow you one "2 hour window" only a few days b4 ur dmv test once they schedule ur 1st test, regardless if you tell them ur not ready & you have to share 2 hours with a dozen others waiting for their test. It's a scam operation of services that will rush you through the end and most important part of the process. Be careful with WPTS
My experience started off well, I stayed up with the class and got my permit and quickly learned to drive. I loved it, problem was when you come in using a state voucher to be retrained, there is noone for them to be accountable to. They have so many students waiting to drive, they have to keep up their process to get you in and get you out, regardless how many times you tell them you need to work on your skills and not ready. I would have paid extra for an extra Saturday to have the instructor all morning guide me on skills. They do offer Saturday for extra help, but there is like 20 other students waiting to practice on 2 trucks in a 4 hour window like anyother day. My brother just got his Class A from a different school in Modesto and there were about 8 other students all saying the same thing of Western Pacific. They get paid and want to rush you right out whether you are ready or not. I didn't want to complain and felt burned this whole time, wasn't until my brother discovered so many other students that had the same issue happen to them. Yes, there are tons of students in their pics smiling and all happy that we got certificates that we finished the hours, but that doesn't reflect how many they send to DMV and are not ready. They have such a steady flow that they have to make you go regardless. Then when you don't pass, instead of having you come more, they stop you until right before your next DMV test and allow you to practice the Saturday before and the morning of IF there is time and a truck. Please do your research and find a different trainer, they make tooo much money off each student to not ensure their success.

Literally the best people to have a drive with. I was driving with both of the Michelle’s and they were extremely wonderful and kind. I loved talking to them both and were so attentive. I was a bad driver…. REALLY BAD…. and they never once made me feel like they were annoyed. Very gently and helpful in their teaching. The owner - Stuart - the best guy to talk to and learn from. Took me to and from my test in Manteca and passed first try after doing all my guided driving with Code 4. Stuart was so funny and honestly i’m so happy I could learn from him right before my test.
Shelly is such a great instructor she made a stressful situation into an easy one i thought it would be the worst experience ever thanks to her it wasn't we need more people like her in the world.
We used this Code 4 for our two kids. It was a great experience. Both of our kids had Joe as an instructor. They both liked him. The pricing was good and best of all the both passed their driving tests on the first try. I highly recommend this driving school.
The receptionist is rude and has an attitude almost every time I call. The quality of lessons was not good either, the instructor yelled at me multiple times during the first lesson and redundantly went over the same things for 2 lessons. Don't waste your time and money here, there are much better local driving schools.
