Steve did an excellent job teaching my 16yo daughter. She took and passed the driving test at DMV yesterday with flying colors!! He was always on time, friendly and Emily was very comfortable with him. He was available for all her lessons which was important to me.
My daughter felt very comfortable driving with the instructor. She stated he gave quality feedback and a professional direction. We definitely will be using the company and instructor again.

Steve is an AMAZING driving instructor! He gave me the confidence, knowledge and experience I needed to be a good freeway driver. I highly recommend him as a driving instructor and Bond Driving School!

Steve was a very great instructor, was slow on the instruction and gave clear instructions, and was very nice didn’t scold me too hard whenever I messed something up. Overall a great experience and didn’t make me nervous on the wheel at all, allowed me to be very comfortable.
steve was an okay instructor instruction-wise, but he does NOT deserve five stars like he himself had said. he takes way too long to get a point across and expects you to stay silent during his lecture-like chats even if you’re trying to respectfully interject. even as i do this willingly—since this instructor often aggravates me to the point i see no reason to talk to him—i get extremely annoyed whenever he blatantly rejects my occasional interjection. there is no need to wait until someone is finished talking to ask a question, especially if the goal is to create a comfortable environment between student and instructor. because this instructor happened to be a chatterbox who wanted to “dominate” every conversation, i often refrain from asking questions. on the first day, i asked him a simple question and expected him to answer with a yes or no and maybe a small one-minute explanation. unbeknownst to me, this was not the case. he decided to go overboard, complicate my question as if it had transformed into a multifaceted theory out of thin air, and blame me for making him work overtime when it was ultimately his fault for saying the same exact thing somehow over the span of 15 minutes. this is what almost every conversation i had with him looked like. while his yapping was bearable, i could NOT stand his overly complicated and laced-with-condescension tone—not very befitting of a driving instructor. whenever he pointed out an error i made, he always made sure to guilt-trip me into fixing my error instead of appropriately tackling the root cause. this kind of tactic doesn’t build skill and confidence, it creates anxiety and self-doubt. we don’t want that if we want the student and instructor to be safe do we? we tend to focus on the physical aspects of safety, but never the mental. you have dual brake pedals for instructor control in case the student is unable to navigate away from danger, but you don’t seem to consider the psychological aspects. i’m not saying that every driving instructor should have a phd in educational psychology; all i’m asking is that you treat your students with respect and make the effort to understand where they are coming from. unfortunately for me, i was not welcomed with any of the sorts. on multiple occasions, i was met with sexist comments and crude assumptions. when i asked a question about the engine and his response was “you don’t need to worry about that. just have your dad, brother, or boyfriend (i never spoke a word about my love life) do it for you.” when making comments about my braking, he said something along the lines of “you shouldn’t keep your foot on the brake until you’ve come to a complete stop unless you want to play $1800 every few years for new brakes installed by the men from autozone (or some other auto repair shop). or you can just learn to install them yourself, but that’s never going to happen, right?” the condescension here was palpable. when making comments about my speeding, he said something along the lines of “you’re going very fast—i sense some testosterone on you. did you develop speeding habits from your brother?” and further yapped about how i shouldn’t develop the “manly” habits my brother has. lastly, he always misinterpreted my anxiety for fear during our sessions, frequently commenting on how he could see that i was “scared.” god forbid a girl be anything other than the stereotypical woman. these comments and many others were unwanted, unwarranted, and utterly unacceptable. if you can’t tell, there is a clear pattern of gender stereotyping and sexist assumptions coming from him. at some point it felt like he was a random old white man paid to insult me, worse than the dmv examiners he always paints as “scary” and “apathetic”, rather than a driving instructor guiding me to success. regardless of his intent, he still needs to look back and reflect on his actions. steve has an abundance of positive, often five-star, reviews from previous students, and it makes me wonder if we even had the same instructor.

Aj is one of the best driving instructors. He is very professional and very patient in teaching. I have never been able to drive comfortably with any other instructors but with AJ I have always been very comfortable and able to drive without any worries. He is very punctual. I've never had to wait an extra minute for him to arrive. Within 3 classes he helped me get my license, which I had not been able to do for years. I am very grateful to AJ for his efforts and helping me pass my driving test. Thank you.

Honestly, this is one of the best driving schools you can find in Sacramento. My teacher was amazing. He taught me all the tricks on how to pass my driving test while also teaching me some side skills like parking. What was important about this driving school is that he was always calm and collected, even if I made some unintentional dangerous maneuvers due to my inexperience. Another important aspect was that he taught me what would be considered a loss of points or a critical error and practiced actions that may lead to these losses of points and critical errors to ensure both the safety and success of the driving test. Overall, I highly recommend this driving school to both younger and older people. As a bonus, the price is great compared to other driving schools!

I started off as a fresh new driver to a fully experienced All around good driver. I learned everything I needed to pass the DMV drivers test first try! i Finally got my license at 20 years old! Brad is a really good and calm instructor . I highly recommend this place if you’re not experienced at all/have little to know experience. I took the 10 day course,Which taught me everything, including parking. Invest into yourself these skills will stick with your forever. Highly recommend This place!
Brad is a very good teacher and helped me become the driver I am today. I did have some driving experience prior to my three lessons with Brad but he taught me many new rules and tips that are very useful to becoming a safe and defensive driver. At times I did get frustrated but I knew Brad was just trying to teach me the best to his abilities. He is a hard working man who works all day and all week and is booked ahead months so he rarely gets breaks. He is the only driving instructor currently so you are not his only student as he has hundred of others so please be respectful and understanding to him. Sometimes Brad may need to use the bathroom as his lessons with his students are back to back but he will make sure you get a full 2 hours for your driving lesson. Finally, Brad has the best deal and his prices are the best you can find in the Sacramento area, I highly recommend you to buy all 3 lessons they are 2 hours each and will get you the 6 hours you need. The appointments are usually not too far apart and he will prepare you to become the best driver that you can.
Had my first lesson today with Brad. He showed attention to what I was doing and gave advice. Didn't yell at me or raise his voice at me. My first time actually driving on big roads and Brad made sure that I knew what I was doing. Now I'm not nervous anymore to sit in the driver seat. He explained everything very clearly and multiple times so I would know what to do in what situations and he would give me a heads up on things. Amazing instructor. Looking forward to the other 2 classes I will be taking with him.

it was a waste of money for me. The instructor kept saying “English, English,English…..” as if I was talking in French. Total waste of money and time. Instructor did not teach me a thing, did not provide any guidance nor explained any of the rules. I managed to find another instructor from a different driving school in time to help me pass the test."

I was in my early 20s without a license or anyone who would let me take the test in their car, so I signed up for Capital Driving School's package that included the road test. Miciah was extremely knowledgeable and professional and though I already had a good amount of behind-the-wheel experience, she helped me build up my confidence and know exactly what to expect on the test. I passed on my first try and it was a completely painless experience
Maciah at Capital Driving School was an excellent instructor. She was very organized and responsive any time of day or night to answer any questions. I also appreciated how she would always text what needed to be practiced on in between lessons as well as confirmation of when the next lesson was scheduled. To those interested in Capital Driving School LLC.: As a complete novice, I was extremely nervous to operate a vehicle; however, through Miciah Calhoun's guidance I was able to pass my DMV behind-the-wheel-test on my first attempt. So, I believe Capital Driving School LLC. provides excellent service and accommodates its client's needs and would highly recommend their instructors. My experience with Capital Driving School LLC. : I was able to easily contact the company through their website and schedule my first lesson. I was contacted within the 24 hour timeframe, as mentioned in their website, to discuss the different program options. I was able to explain my current driving experience and what goals I would like to complete by the end of the program's length. In the end, I opted for a customized program 1 that included an additional 1 hour lesson; this would be roughly 2 hour lessons per week at the normal rate. In total, I had 13 driving lessons and chose to utilize their vehicle for the DMV driving exam. Scheduling was never an issue, I received a lesson plan proposal after the first lesson. Additionally, I was always given the option to reschedule a lesson, up to 24 hours prior, and had multiple formats available for payment. My experience with the Instructor and Lesson Program: My instructor, Miciah Calhoun, was courteous, knowledgeable, patient, professional and supportive. Prior to each lesson, I would receive a reminder the day before and another reminder would be sent roughly 10 minutes prior to the lesson. She would always energetically greet me, which helped calm the nerves, and allowed me to get comfortable in the vehicle. Each lesson had a consistent pattern. First, she would go over the DMV behind-the-wheel test procedures. Afterwards, she would explain what the focus would be for the current lesson. Next, we would move to the road for about an hour. Then at the end, she would review the lesson to provide constructive feedback and answer any questions. Each lesson was designed to build confidence by adding different road situations a driver will usually encounter. At first, I would often forget to check my blind spots or to engage my directional blinkers. However, Miciah would always be attentive during the lesson and would immediately help remedy the situation to avoid potential danger. I never felt uncomfortable or upset when making mistakes, she made sure to turn mistakes into a positive experience to improve my driving skill overall. This teaching style helped digest information quickly, it also taught me to critique myself during and after each outing.
The school was recommended to us by my daughter’s classmate and we couldn’t be happier! Miciah was great and super patient not just with my daughter but with me also because I was more anxious about my child driving than I should have been. Ha! Other than coming with a glowing recommendation, my daughter didn’t feel comfortable with a male instructor, so this was a perfect fit. Everything was so easy too! I didn’t have to do anything DMV except meet them after the behind the wheel test. Highly, highly recommend!!!

My teacher for weeks was supposed to give me my certificate for passing and i have yet to receive it. He lies and says he’ll mail it, he says he’ll bring it, and he’s said his daughter will bring it. My final driving lesson was May 19. Today is June 11 and still nothing. Horrible
I attended Sacramento driving school and I didn't regret it. Reasonable pricing, great instructor, great service, and friendly attitude. I passed my drivers license test on the first test, thanks to them . Highly recommended.
Best place to go for traffic school!!! The teacher Clif is super helpful and makes learning fun, while still being efficient. It almost seemed as if I was there for fun. 10/10 would recommend.
Great school. I checked around with reviews and prices. Good packages to choose from. I had already taken the written before I contacted them. Was able to schedule lessons that worked within my schedule and did the test at dmv. Had a good, easy, reliable and up to code car to learn and test in. Actually bought the same male and model after i passed on the first test. Great for people who don't have friends or family with a car that meets the standards and the time to take you to test.
Friendly staff, great instructor, told me everything I needed to know to pass and was a fun guy, ended up passing first try so that's a testimony in it's self.

I don't recommend this driving school... They just want to get your money and not get you the license... I spent so much money on them and they didn't take me to my drive test.. This father son are just wanted to take the money and not interested in getting you the license... I'm so upset at them.... Don't go there....don't trust them. 😡😡

Very unprofessional. They do not return your calls, do not respond to your questions or concerns, and are not helpful. They are in a hurry to take your money, they’re really good at that. The instructor wrote all over my child’s permit and she left the lesson more confused than before. Extremely poor quality. Save stress and subpar service by going elsewhere for services.
My daughter did the online training to get her permit everything went great so I wanted to sign her up for the behind the wheel course with the same company. I attempted to call them multiple times for 2 weeks straight it kept going to a voicemail that was full. I sent them a few text messages with no response, I also sent a message through their website with no response. I am glad I went with my first mind and did not pay the $400 because these reviews are the same as my experience.
We are out $75. Business is totally unresponsive. Their 4 lesson package might seem convenient (1-hr; 1 hr; 2hr; 2 hr) $75 each (total $300) and cheap, but getting to schedule the following lessons is impossible. Of course, our 1-hour (and only lesson) is useless towards the 6-hr requirement with other driving schools because their packages are 2-hour slots. And of course, this business will argue that they got paid for their 1-hour lesson, but that wasn't the contract, the contract was for a complete 6-hour requirement, so NO, they didn't fulfill their end of the contract. The other reviews are true. Owner (Jeffrey Diggs) may not care about his business anymore. Lesson learned. Go pass this business.
