Before finding Felipe’s truck driving school, I had researched several other options. My primary priorities were the program’s ratings and reviews, as well as the tuition. Felipe’s program seemed like the perfect fit for me. The registration process was straightforward. They provided all the necessary paperwork and forms to outline the course and program expectations. I started the next day, which was quite convenient. Initially, I didn’t ask many questions, but Felipe’s team is incredibly knowledgeable and can answer any doubts, concerns, or questions you may have. They have a deep understanding of the entire process and the duration of the program. During my four-week course, I attended Monday to Friday, but I opted to add an extra day to attend Saturday as well. This extra day allowed me to gain more hands-on experience and practice my in-cab brake test, light test, external light test, and pre-trip inspections. All the instructors at Felipe’s school—Felipe, Alfonso, Oscar, and Xavier—were exceptional. They helped me perfect my training by using the correct terminology for inspections and honing my driving skills to prepare for my driving exam. They are all patient and understanding, recognizing where students need the most assistance and taking the time to provide the necessary support. They also assist in scheduling your driving exam appointment based on your progress in the program. I took the CDL class “A” manual transmission exam and passed it on my first attempt, thanks to the invaluable teachings and preparation provided by the instructors. In conclusion, I highly recommend Felipe’s truck driving school. They offer exceptional instruction and teaching for anyone interested in learning to drive and obtaining their CDL license.

Felipe's Truck Driving School is the school you need, i got my class "A" cdl in only 5 weeks, what i liked most about this school was the fact that i could choose the time i wanted to go in and there was always trucks available to practice. Also the instructors like Ortiz where always there to help and answer all your questions, they are always giving you tips on how to drive better and they will tell you exactly how to pass your test at dmv.

Beckham is very professional and helps my son to pass driving test with high mark. He is very easy to work with and communicate with. My son also speaks highly about his skills and manner. He genuinely cares about him and is willing to extend class time just to make sure he is well prepared. Highly recommended!

Beckham is a very experienced and professional driving instructor. He gives a review of the most important traffic rules in the beginning of the first lesson, which helped me anticipate possible situations and feel more confident making decisions, even though I had close to 0 driving experience. He can tell how prepared you are for the test and will squeeze in lessons for you to help you practice if you’re not there yet despite his busy schedule. He also takes you close to the dmv to practice possible routes, which was really helpful. I took 7 lessons with him and passed my test on the first try!

I highly recommend taking lessons with Beckham! I passed my road test, feeling so much more confident after learning from him. He is so patient and imparts his knowledge in a way that is easy to understand and remember. Driving with Beckham really puts you at ease, and makes taking the test so much smoother. His tips definitely came in handy. I looked at a few options when looking for driving lessons, and I'm so happy I chose to learn from Beckham. Do yourself a favour and book a lesson with him!

Beckham is a great driving instructor! He recommended that my son take 2 driving lessons with him, once my son received his permit. Before that, my son had very little driving experience. Beckham was a patient and informative instructor. They practiced driving everywhere (freeway, neighborhoods, parking lots). He took my son on his last driving lesson a week before his behind the wheel test and completed a practice test. He even gave us written feedback on my son's driving. My son passed his test and feels comfortable and confident as a new driver. We highly recommend Beckham and his driving school.

I passed my DMV driving exam today. Beckham is the best instructor in San Diego area. Beckham's lessons include his own checklist that we have to follow when making turns to be a good driver along with the DMV handbook. He ensures that you correctly follow the rules of the road. He is very friendly and calm. He made me drive on freeways on every lessons. My husband was a student of Beckham too. I highly recommend Beckham to everyone who are searching for the best driving instructor in SD area.

I’m extremely grateful to have taken driving classes with Maria. Even though I basically had little to no experience with driving, her professionalism and calm teaching made me less nervous and allow me to ease into driving. The confidence I gained from the lessons allowed me to pass my DMV driving test on my first try!

I have finally passed my driving test after taking classes with Casey! As an anxious driver, he really helped me learn how to calm my nerves not only with driving but with the unexpected things life throws at me! I really recommend his classes as he makes driving a calm and productive thing anyone can do. He is very understanding and great at analyzing how you can improve, also super accommodating with scheduling (esp since writing this I am a university student.) Despite finally having my license, when I get a chance I’m definitely going to take some more practice lessons on the highway to pick up safer road habits!

Maria is an AMAZING instructor! When I started, I had very minimal exposure to driving & I was VERY nervous to start at a later age! I took about 6 classes with Maria & over that time I became a lot more comfortable & confident behind the wheel! Maria is very good at teaching & she is also very patient & kind! I am happy to say that today I passed my driving test on my first try!!! Thank you so so much Maria! I could not have done it without you :)

Both of my kids took driving classes from Sam and passed on the first try. Sam is a great driving coach. When the class is scheduled he comes on time. He thinks through the program for each class. 3 classes was enough for both of my kids. We did them with intervals to give each child enough time to practice in between. Sam cheered them on even the day of the test. My daughter did 0 mistakes. Sam is very trustworthy. Highly recommend the school and the teacher.

Samim is a phenomenal instructor and I was very lucky to have him as my coach. I had driven in India before but needed to learn the DMV rules and Samim helped me with expert tips to smoothen out my drive, pointing out mistakes openly but calmly so that my confidence kept building up with every class. I would highly recommend him if you want to improve your driving skills and pass the DMV exam!

Terrible experience. Sameer was so impatient, and rude throughout the entire drive. When he wasn’t rude, he was half asleep or texting on his phone. He would never talk above a whisper, only to yell at me when i missed a turn (he would frequently change his mind, numerous times he told me to go left and then double back and say I should’ve gone right). He looked very annoyed he had to be there, total waste of 180 dollars. If there was a way to get my money back, I would. 0/10 I wouldn’t recommend this driving school to my worst enemy.

I had instructor Samim Zamen, he was phenomenal, I aced my driving test large part due to his preparations, he was always calm and in control, but also very helpful in getting you to do as much of the work as possible; I’d totally recommend this company for a deeper instructional experience!

Let me just say, these guys are awesome! I worked with Samim and Anna. Samim was my instructor and Anna was helping me schedule. I had two sessions before my test. They made accomodations for driving with my own car and the day I wanted to take the test. I highly recommend choosing this driving school. Also ask for Samim - he was excellent at teaching the necessary skills to get me up to speed before the test. Anna/Samim were excellent with prompt responses and working around my schedule. Good job, you guys! Keep it up.

My driving instructor Dean, is not only an amazing instructor but also a great person. Because of his patience for new drivers, great insight and understanding for the road, I feel much safer when driving because of the skills I have been taught by him. I will highly recommend him to family and friends, or anyone for that matter, because of his excellent work.

The driving instruction was for the most part clear and simple with few examples of miscommunication. I feel prepared for my exam and overall a better driver due to his teachings. Also, I would like to mention that Mr. Vincent delivered a paper that I needed after business hours without no previous appointment after I had lost the first one. With his stories to fill the monotony of driving, Teen Driving School has had rather exemplary customer service.

Jessie Abuyen was an excellent instructor giving me all the tips and tricks to remember during driving. Mostly it was driving and giving me tips but also he brought out papers and examples from the book to help me understand things I wasn’t quite sure about. Overall an amazing place and instructor to help me pass my test and be able to go on the road as soon as possible.

My coach was Dean. he is really helpful and taught how to drive very well. I've never driven in my life however, in America I got a car license here! thanks to Dean, I didn't have to waste my time and money.

We had both Michelle and Vincent and both were great instructors. Vincent gave my son's lesson just before his driving test and taught him all the things he would need to know for the driving test. I recommend!

Solaiman was a fantastic instructor! I went for 3 lessons prior to my drive test at the Hillcrest DMV and passed easily! I got a lot of great advice and pointers from Solaiman and it made me a better driver. Thank you Solaiman! :)

I can’t recommend my instructor Solaiman enough. After so many frustrating experiences with other teachers, I had almost given up hope that I’d ever feel comfortable driving. But even after just two lessons, I already feel more confident, more capable, and — for the first time — actually optimistic about learning to drive. He’s calm, incredibly patient, and has a way of making you feel safe and understood behind the wheel. He adapts to your pace, listens, and creates such a supportive environment that it takes a lot of the fear and stress out of the process. If you’ve struggled with driving for any reason, or if you’re looking for someone who truly goes above and beyond to help you grow — this is the instructor to go to. I’m so grateful I found him.

Solaiman from Allstate Driving School was so helpful in getting me ready to take the drivers license test! He was very patient with me and calm whenever I would make a mistake. Gave me lots of tips and tricks on how I would get graded during the test and what I should improve upon to succeed. Recommend if you have nerves about driving. Edit 4/9: I took a five day 2 hour each driving lesson course at this school. My first 4 lessons I had with Solaiman Saifi, who was a great teacher. He was calm despot my mistakes and gave me the courage to drive on the freeway. I booked my lessons over the phone without any prior knowledge about the lessons or the teachers schedules. So I booked myself for every other day starting March 18th at 11am. What I wasn't told till the lesson before was that my original teacher didn't work on Fridays so my last lesson which took place Friday March 28 would be with a different teacher. I thought this would be fine so I didn't have any concerns. Unfortunately this turned out to be a mistake. The teacher who picked me up Friday morning was Lorena Rosas. She seems to be a good teacher but all she was going over with me on my final test was the basics I had covered already in my first couple of lessons. Also she was pretty heavy handed with her teachers breaks and even when I was breaking she would step on it because I wasn't doing it to her liking. I didn't complain simply because was busy keeping my attention on the road. It wasn't until I was driving with my mom and tried to park next to the curb that problems arose. My last 2 lessons with Solaiman we were working on curbside parking, but with Lorena we only did parking in a lot. So not only did I misjudge the space I was trying to pull into, I was going at a bad angle. I had to get out and let her fix it. That was when she told me I had a while to go before my curbside parking was up to par. So to remedy this I contacted the driving school to ask for a refund for the last lesson or a remedial lesson. I then got a call from the owner Dee Amanda Wu who said that the teacher probably just taught me like that because I needed the help and correction. When I said I was a adult and I know the basics by now she doubled down on how she felt the teachers actions were appropriate for a last lesson after I spent 850$ to be taught how to drive well enough to pass the test. I thought I would take a chance on this school despite all the poor reviews for the management but I would say unless you are a doormat who doesn't care about your money don't go here for driving lessons. I do not think the owner has any understanding of customer service or satisfaction. She says they have been in business for over 20 years and I think that they have grown lax in caring about their customers. They should have better communication between teachers if a student is going to be going between different teachers. And the breaks should only be used in order to protect the students not when ever the teacher feels comfortable with it. I was really hoping to have a good experience with this process but it had been soured by this. I won't be recommending this to my other friends who are not yet driving.

I had an amazing experience with Mr Solaiman. He was very patient and gave a through analysis of my driving in each session. I took 4 sessions with him and i passed!

Mr Felix is a good and friendly instructor. If I had a chance to take my driving class next time I would still stick around with him. 10/10. But theres no next time since I passed my driving test.

My wife took their 10 Hour Driving Training course. Three issues: 1. Every time my wife scheduled a two-hour lesson using their website, they would charge our credit card the entire ten-hour course cost ($815). This happened twice after the first and only authorized payment. They claimed they would refund us for the two erroneous charges but they never have after three months. 2. They assigned different driving instructors throughout the course. These driving instructors do not follow a uniform lesson plan and have completely different teaching styles. One of the instructors was great but the other was terrible. The latter instructor had no structure whatsoever. He simply told my wife to drive wherever she felt was right and had a blunt and rude personality most of the time. 3. One of their vehicles had broken air conditioning. My wife took the course over the summer so you can imagine how uncomfortable that was. She would come back from her lessons sweating profusely. This review managed to avoid receiving only one star simply because of the pleasant experience my wife had with one of their instructors (Jose). He earned them the additional star. Other than that, I suggest avoiding this place if you want to spare yourself the trouble.

This driving school is poorly organized and seems more interested in taking customers’ money than providing reliable service. They canceled my behind-the-wheel DMV test appointment without notice, and I nearly missed my driving test. The only reason I was able to take the test was because my instructor, Felix, genuinely cared and advocated for me. He managed to get the school to switch the schedule back at the last minute so I could make it. The school also refused to give me a refund for the canceled appointment. Instead, they let my instructor take me to the test by canceling another student’s appointment, leaving her behind—even though she had already taken the day off for her test, just like I did. They also canceled one of my driving lessons without any explanation and didn’t even inform the instructor. The only good part of this experience was Felix—he’s the best driving teacher, and I wouldn’t have passed without him. I wish I could have taken lessons with him directly, without dealing with the school at all.

I had such a great experience with this driving school! Felix was absolutely amazing-super patient, kind, and encouraging the whole time. He explained everything clearly and made me feel confident behind the wheel. Totally worth it if you want to learn how to drive the right way. Highly recommend!

I’m so glad I chose Bruce to teach my daughter to drive. I noticed a huge improvement after only one lesson. She grew in competence and confidence after each additional lesson. He even accompanied my daughter to the DMV. Thanks to Bruce she passed with flying colors on her first try. He really is an expert at his craft. Thanks Bruce!

We hired Bruce for 12 straight sessions - to get our daughter comfortable driving again. Like me, Bruce has a direct, straight-shooter style of communication which is SUPER helpful when it comes to passing/failing a road test. This was the first driving school I called. After talking with Connie, I decided I didn't need to shop around, because I liked her so much. I got lucky and found this place first. My son came home after his first session and said "I love that guy!", talking about Leonard. My son is super confident to drive now.

It was wonderful experience for me!!LENARD was indeed the best instructor and trainer that i have ever met with .i really had two diffrent schools but they treated me badly but this school is amazing specialy (lenard)and his wife (Connie) at the office were very kind and polite people..I would recomend this....good luck Guyz.

I spoke with Connie on 10/30/20. She was down to earth and professional. Connie answerd all of my questions (I had a lot) and really knows the ins and outs of the business. I am buying lessons as a Christmas gift for an adult that is not related to me and lives 10 hours away. Connie gave me all of the details and added very valuable advice. I'm excited about using this school. I'll update this review to include the driving portion once it begins. Not going to lie, the whole reason I chose this school is because of my phone call with Connie.
