Amazing driving school… my instructor is @carolyn . I have scheduled 10 hours behind the wheel training with simulators … I have attended six hours behind wheel training with Miss carolyn till now. And I already feeling confident about driving . I found her so polite, very patient . She taught me many safety driving tricks for my DMV test. She explained every point very well… this is the best school I have found… thank you Miss Carolyn.
I had an amazing experience with Charlotte driving academy! They teach you everything you need to become a confident and responsible driver. Danna was an incredible instructor, supportive, and very knowledgeable. She made the learning process smooth and enjoyable. I 100% recommend this academy, especially for teenagers like me who are learning to drive!!

My daughter Sabrina and I had an amazing experience at Charlotte Driving Academy! She was nervous, and Ms. Danna handled her beautifully. All the instructors are professional and punctual. The education process is thorough, and the teaching in the classroom and behind the wheel is above and beyond. CDA is hands down the best driving school in Charlotte! My son learned so much and felt ready for his permit test. His instructor, Danna, exceeded all expectations. She was patient, very knowledgeable and encouraging! My son is a better driver because of her!

I took the 10 Week course on weekday evenings and had a great experience. Committing EVERY weeknight for that long can be difficult. Life happens all the time. CL Driving School was always understandable and flexible when it came to missing days (and making up for them). I recently got my CDL and I want to thank Rommel, my instructor, for all his help and support. He was professional, patient, and really took the time to make sure I understood everything. Mr Work did a fantastic job teaching me how to drive as someone who had little to no experience driving. I did the 10 hour package and learned very quickly and effectively. Mr Work had me drive in many different environments, Uptown, Shopping Centers, Highway etc. I was gaining more and more confidence each session. I was able to take my drivers test yesterday and successfully pass due to Mr Works help! Amazing teacher.
Expert driving school is really the best school in the city of charlotte. I pass my road test today with confidence. Workneh, the owner and instructor , is professional, patient and knowledgeable. Terrence was my driving instructor, he was patient, on time, and provided information for everything needed to pass you road test in North Caralina. I had selected 6 hrs driving lessons and already prepared to take my road test. I recommend this school good luck to everyone take this review as an opportunity to avoid problems at the DMV:) Update: I wanted to also thank Ms. Sherry, the owner of ASA for also clarifying any questions and concerns regarding scheduling a road test, documents and information for new residents of North Caraolina. I had a great time. Ms. Sherry really gave me a good vide and good energy. I love to drive with her more and I experienced a lot while driving. She taught me so much, she really boosted my confidence and I am so excited for my drivers test and more. I would really recommend asking for her when driving because you will have a great time. What a gratifying experience! The most professional and courteous team I have ever dealt with. From the instructor Terrance with an impeccable attitude that will give you a huge piece of mind, to Sherry with her positive and friendly personality that will make you love this place even more, finishing with Mr. Alvin, displaying perfection on every step of the final day, patiently taking care of the students during the road test, and fully explaining how to conduct themself once the get the license. I will for life recommend these staff, to anyone going through the stressful time when your little kids start the new chapter of driving on their own. A plus all the way.

Transtech was definitely an experience that I enjoyed. The instructors are very diligent and want you to pass. If you put in the work, you will pull through. At first, it might seem intimidating your first week, but keeping coming and practicing. And don't give up! Thank you to Ms. Grace for giving me the advice to take my test. Also, thank you to Tay, Shane, Clarence, Anthony, and Ted for working with me, I really appreciated it. Also thank you to Jackie and Flo for allowing me to get more practice on the yard and working with me all the way up until test day.

If I could leave a hundred stars, I would! Janine White was my very first driving instructor, I had never been behind the wheel and she took me from nothing to owning the road!! She not only made me comfortable about driving but she made me confident and that confidence got me to pass my driving test in one try. She never once raised her voice at me when I did something wrong. She always maintained her tempermance and walked me through my mistakes. She's a great teacher and even better human! I just got my driving license, all thanks to you, Ms. White! As an adult, it was embarrassing not knowing how to drive, and I was terrified of getting behind the wheel. I've accomplished so much in my life, but driving was always one of those things I wanted to do, yet avoided for so long until I had to. I tried other NC driving school companies and instructors, and I have to say, there's no comparison. Ms. White knows how to teach. I never felt pressured, uncomfortable, or like I wasn't learning. She provides constructive criticism and timely advice without making you feel stressed or adding more pressure to the already stressful situation. She was always on time for every lesson (tardiness is a big pet peeve of mine). Her vehicle was consistently clean and in great condition, and she taught me way more than I expected. I took the 10-hour package for $650, which was well worth my investment. Now's my wife's turn so I'll soon be booking another 10 hrs :) Hands down, Ms. White, you're the best in the business. Thanks again for all your help!
Ms. White is an effective, knowledgeable, and kind teacher. She skillfully taught objectives tested at the DMV and made me more confident in my driving. I rarely leave reviews, but I want to say I would highly recommend her for driving classes.

My experience with krishna Driving School was nothing short of a disappointment. From their poor communication to instructors lacking professionalism it was a frustrating and disheartening journey. I strongly recommend avoiding krishna Driving School when searching for a driving school.
i was so scared to drive before coming to this school. krishna helped me gain confidence in driving. he was honest, had really communication and has a really good learning style. he made me feel comfortable in my driving. i do genuinely recommend krishna as a driving teacher. he took my fear away from driving and i loved learning with him!
My experience with krishna Driving School was incredibly drastic. From unprofessional customer service, it was a disappointing journey. The lack of organization, rude behavior. I strongly advise against choosing krishna Driving School for your driving education needs. and also, he again called/requested me to put down this review! ugh...zero ethics! Replying for his comment: why are you even dragging community into this issue? I'm speaking this as a fellow human! and btw...I NEVER ASKED YOU ONLY FOR ONE CLASS/SESSION.
Krishna Bhai is amazing with his tips and tricks. You should be able to follow his words carefully to pass the driving test. He has been very helpful with the process too. I would definitely recommend adults to approach to learn driving.
The worst experience ever. When I asked them if they are enrolling new students, they told me they are and told me to call after a few weeks. When I called them after a few weeks, the man was extremely rude and hung up without even saying anything. Avoid this driving school at all costs. Edit- I understand if the teachers are busy teaching. However, the person picked up the call. Isn't it unsafe to even pick up the call then? He spoke to me rudely for 3-4 minutes and then hung up randomly without saying he is busy. If the reply was nicer to me and wanted to fix the issue without being mean, I would have probably even deleted my bad review. I wanted to be your customer but too bad you lost me due to the rudeness and inability to acknowledge the issue.

I found Helms School on Google when I searched for the best driving school in Charlotte, and it truly is the best! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The enrollment was a dream come true for my kid and his birthday present. Chrystal went above and beyond and volunteered to send the enrollment email on his birthday morning. It was incredibly sweet and thoughtful! Everyone was kind, supportive, and very professional. Special thanks to Michelle, our fabulous driving instructor. The first teacher in driving makes such a difference, and she gave my son the confidence to feel comfortable on the road and taught him lessons I wish I had known when I started. Don’t hesitate if you really need THE BEST driving education in Charlotte!
Helms was great working with our schedule to get the driving hours in. I can’t imagine that is an easy job with how busy everyone is these days. My daughter thought Mr. Pete was funny and that kept her relaxed while learning to drive. It was excellent. So thankful Helms picked up at our house. That was a nice surprise.
My daughter was not excited to practice driving but Mrs. Michelle was wonderful. She was patient, kind and calm. They practiced in our neighborhood, and the highway and some busier roads which was very helpful and thorough. We are so grateful for a good experience and Would recommend Helms driving to anyone looking for an excellent driving program.

She went above and beyond to help my son (and me) to navigate a difficult process of coming to NC with an out-of-state learner’s permit and answered a million questions throughout the process. My son attends boarding school out of state and I needed to get him in over the summer to make sure he started sophomore year with that permit! Chet and Elana were amazing! They were quick to answer any questions I had. They're both very warm and welcoming and I felt at ease with my decision. Chet is super talented with connecting with the teens and very relatable. They're both also genuinely excited and interested to work with the teens in the class. My son passed his test on the first try and got all of the answers correct. I attribute this to Chet and Elana's end of course practice testing. They work with these kids until they get it right. I can't wait to enroll our next future driver in the household!
My son attended this driving school before obtaining his permit. Chet and his staff laid a great base. Over the following year, my son continued to improve but I felt he needed some final guidance from someone other than his parents. Before his driving test, he drove a few hours with Chet who reinforced safe habits and set him up for success on the road test. I am currently attending the Charlotte NC, hovis rd brand and I am very unhappy with the service of this company I’ve been enrolled in this program going full time for a couple of months, yet I was informed upon admission that the program would last a month 1/2. I believe I’m being targeted for discrimination and it is bringing hardship towards me. I also contacted customer care and never got a reply. I’m on record pleading with you for a resolution to this issue.
As i begin a new journey to better my career choosing 160 driving academy overall was the greatest decision i made. My instructors adjusted and worked together to help me actually understand. The instructors teem with patience, dedication and encouragement. A special shout out to a hard-working individual who really looks out for his students, who's hard work does not go unrecognized, lamar, thank you again for believing in me, and knowing that I can achieve such greatness. I just completed 160 Driving Academy and I really enjoyed the experience I had excellent instructors. The class room with Ms. Nikki was excellent just wish she could have taught us more in the class mainly that Pre trip inspection and Incab inspection but the main person to see about this is Lamar at the school. The Instructors Wow I could write a book about these Men.... Lamar all around terrific instructor, he training me how to drive and had so much patience with me the best driving instructor I ever had. Now Eric and Phil this team right here they are the Best on the yard here at 160 school, they help me out alot on the yard. I learned so much from these two men and I really appreciate all you taught me. I came to 160 driving school to learn how the be a Truck Driver and these Instructors really helped me. Under staffed and they are disrespectful. I work for Amazon who paid for school and DOT had to be call repeatedly in order for me to be accelerated and get my drive time . ….. Fast forward….,, the school has employed some excellent teachers Earl, Big E, Richard and a nice lady not Donna in the office and the school Finally has what it needs to be a good school. If they can get some operational equipment this school will be one of the best!! Will I do it again YES I made some great friends!

On such short notice, Mike was able to accommodate and book me my practice lessons three days before my road test. Instructors Erica and Frank did an amazing job in preparing me and I passed on my first take. Can’t thank them enough for the service and patience that helped me gain confidence for my exam and pass it with flying colors! They deserve five stars MORE than the 5-star driving school I went into before I got to them. Book them and you’ll get your money’s worth for sure!!
I had classes with instructor Mark, he was very patient, always on time and explained everything in a very easy and clear manner, and even thought I already have experience driving, his classes and pointers were gold!!! Very rude and unprofessional . first of all he mostly did not pick up a call and even didn’t reply on messenger either. After following 3-4 week he gave me two day one time . On first day he said his driver can’t come I understand .I worked so I took 1:30 hrs leave that wasted and another week he gave me time and for that day even I called in morning and he confirmed that his driver will come at same time but 12:55 I got call her drive and she said she can’t come I need to book for some other day I took off again from my office. He is very very rude and very unprofessional and didn’t value other peoples time. If you don’t have time slot tell people upfront don’t waste other people time.

We had a fantastic experience with Jordan Driving School when my teenagers, aged 15, attended their classes (2022-2023). Their instructor was Tommie Lockhart. The classes took place at Olympic High School, and their behind-the-wheel practices were at Palisades HS. From the enrollment process to the moment they received their permits, everything went flawlessly. I would highly recommend them.
Do not waste your money. Poor management and they do not return your calls. We paid for Driver’s Ed class well in advance of covid. When covid came around they held virtual classes which was fine but they made no provisions for the driving part. We have been waiting six months for behind the wheel and still not scheduled. I have left messages with the office and no return calls. Other driver schools are completing the class and behind the wheel working same month. Do not use this business.
Daughter was to meet the driving instructor at 2pm today at Philip O Berry. I drove around the building several times because he didnt give exact location at the school to meet. It is 2:35pm and we've been here since 1:55pm and I'm waiting still. It is so unprofessional not to show or call. Waiting 30 minutes is being nice however I'm not feeling as nice. We are leaving!! Monday I will be filing a formal complaint!!!!
I drove with Coach Robinson at Panther Creek High. I had a great experience with him and I feel very confident in my driving. He made sure I was very comfortable and calmed me when I was uneasy. Overall it was a great experience!
Awful, and appears to me that they pick and choose as to when they let rules apply. My son was there maybe 1or 2 minutes late due to having to get there in an Uber. They closed the door on him as he was making his way to the front of the building at Butler H.S. This is a long walk way but if you see the child walking or running towards the door why close it on him? Yet the first day I remember a child be walked into the building by the parent at least 45 minutes late. My son was dismissed from the program because of his no more than 3 minutes tardiness. I spoke to the white male in charge and he refused to make any exceptions! I’m sure my 6’1 ft black son was not of his liking. I believe that is the reason why he refused to let him in the building! I had to drive to pick him up as he stood outside of the building for at least 30 minutes!
