Ride Chicago is awesome and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. I took private lessons with Rachel and she was the best: super knowledgeable, patient and fun. She was very encouraging and as a woman it was nice to see a female instructor. I also took the on site licensing exam with Ride Chicago and it was well run and efficient. The range crew all had great energy on a cold, dark morning and really made everyone feel like we could do it. If you’re thinking about lessons or getting licensed, this is the best place to do it!

If you’re looking to ride, this is the place to start. Instructors are super cool and very knowledgeable and helpful. Even if you’re just looking to get some great practice in for the road test, they’re here to help. I highly recommend signing up for the licensing class immediately after classes. You will get plenty of time to warm up and practice prior to the road test. It really helps your confidence going into the final test.

I thought I knew how to handle my Harley. These guys seriously improved my technique and made me 20x more confident on my bike, both high and low speed(Go ahead and try handling a Harley low speed, seriously, it's tough). addition thanks for the tips too! your braking advice helped me out control my brake and my throttle while throttle blipping on a down shift. Not to mention me maxing out my lean angle from this class. Peg scraping is awesome.

My husband bought me lessons for Christmas to help me fulfill a long held dream to eventually get a motorcycle. These guys were fantastic! I learned so much and had an amazing time. I plan to follow up with testing through them and the intermediate class once I start riding!

Steven and Pako are great instructors! Went in never riding a bike before and after the 2 days I feel confident enough that I can go ride on my own. Definitely signing up for the on site licensing with them as well!

I took so many lessons with another big driving school and got nowhere. After 3 lessons with Andy I passed! He is really patient and experienced so if you’re a nervous driver he’ll relax you. Super happy with my experience and wish I’d gone with Galaxy first time. Thank you Andy!!!

I've had a great experience so far at Galaxy Driving School! After just three lessons, I already feel comfortable behind the wheel. The driving instructoris really chill and an excellent teacher. He's great at explaining what to do and helping me stay calm, which has made learning to drive much easier. Plus, he even helped me schedule a DMV lesson, which is super helpful since I'm starting college in a week Highly recommend!

Honestly the greatest driving school. Andy is a great instructor and will teach you everything you need to know and more. Alongside Andy, Crystal is also very nice. Driving lessons are great. Andy is very flexible and reliable when it comes to driving lessons. Overall, awesome driving school!!

Driving was always a fear of mine and held off on getting behind the wheel for years. All the staff is welcoming and flexible with hours to fit your schedule. My instructor, Arnold made me feel very comfortable with the handful of classes we did together. He was patient and understanding throughout the entire process. At the end, I succeeded with getting my license! There’s only a few driving schools in the city of Chicago, however Ruiz Driving School is probably the best one I’ve spent my money on.

I had such a great experience with Ruiz driving school, I learned so much and I didn’t need as much time as I thought I would I was comfortable and ready. The instructor I had was amazing, he taught me everything I know and thanks to him and the school I got my drivers license. I would definitely recommend coming here to learn how to drive

I got my license with the help of Arnold. He did a great job in guiding me through the process of getting my license. I 100% recommend Ruiz driving school to anyone who wants to learn how to drive get your permit or license. There very kind people and they really care about your success☺️.

If you are someone that is nervous at driving or unsure if you are able to learn how to properly drive like I was, I would totally recommend for you to take classes here. The staff and instructors are both friendly and welcoming. My instructor was Arnold and within the first class I had already improved and felt less nervous about driving. I had trouble with making my turns and changing lanes and Arnold was able to guide and explain in a way that made it easy for me to follow. Things like parking, which is difficult for many people who are first time drivers, was made simple thanks to the tips that Arnold provided. Classes always went smoothly and Arnold always had patience with me even when I would mess up. Classes are two hours long which is one of the reasons why I chose to take classes here in the first place. In most driving schools its usually one hour which I feel is not enough time. There is a fee if you would like for them to help you get your driver's license at the DMV, but its totally optional and up to the student. Some people don't have access to a car so that service may be of help to them, but again they never pressure you to take it it's up to you. I did pay for the fee since I did not have access to a car to take the test. They offered a practice round before your appointment at the DMV. They make sure the document process goes smoothly and wait for you to finish your driving test. I had a really positive experience at Ruiz Driving School. I was someone who never thought I would be able to improve my driving skills much less get my license, but here I am. I passed and now I am waiting for my license to come in the mail. If you are looking to learn how to drive definitely give Ruiz Driving School a call.

Both my kids went to Auto Metro and Damian was awesome. He was patient and always available to answer questions, even after my kids completed his course. Highly recommend!

I actually am super late providing a review. But I did a lesson with Miranda in 2023 I informed her that I am an anxious driver, and she was able to help me relax and get and understanding of how to manunever the car we practice in a quiet area just right turns for a bit and and then we drove through traffic. She was able to guide me through each step I was so nervous I was saying left but turning right but she once again reassured me. Then next thing I know we were driving during very busy traffic and construction zones and I was much more confident felt in control of the car. I felt embarrassed to 33 still unable to drive and she told me not to worry that her oldest student was 90 years old and it's never too late. She also even complimented me on a right turn through busy traffic where someone decided to cut me off for a left turn and I made the decision to jump into the lane as I had the right of way and didn't want to delay traffic she said it was excellent defenses and offensive driving on my part and that she didn't even have to tell me what to do. It was a wonderful experience, I didn't keep practicing immediately but I finally did get my license last year. I think I will definitely take another lesson or two with Miranda now that I'm trying to drive more confidently she is the best.

My aunt recently moved to States. She was an excellent driver back home but she was very nervous about driving here. I talked to guy Edward about her situation,he understands very well. My aunt took 2 lessons with him. First 15 minutes he taught her the basics rules before taking her to tha road. Then took her for lessons. He makes her very comfortable and boost her confidence. In 2 days lessons, she is very much ready for the test. People who moved from other countries I very much recommend Entourage driving school.

Mr. Moreno explained very well what to do. He helped me gain my confidence and wasn’t rude. Very polite and instructive. Just got ny license because of his help! I highly recommend him and nova !

Buddy was my instructor and I must agree he is an excellent teacher. His feedbacks were clear and made me correct my mistakes until I got them cleared. He was very polite and friendly.

I'm sure the driver portion of this location is great based off reviews.. My one star is for a staff member (female) I see open just about every morning... Who arrives on a scooter and parks it in the literally middle of the busy corner... Doesn't know how to park but works there?

Diego is the best. I did most of my lessons with him He taught me so much and I have really bad anxiety so for me to be able to feel comfortable is a lot. I just received my drivers license today and Pedro Bosch was my instructor to help me prepare, and he was amazing as well very nice very encouraging and helped me ease my anxiety before the actual test

My first experience at Nova was disappointing due to my instructor, Jeremiah. He was rude, impatient, and completely disregarded what I told him about my driving struggles. Despite me saying I didn’t know how to parallel park, he forced me to do it anyway, then got frustrated when I couldn’t. He even took me downtown on my first lesson which was very overwhelming and unnecessary. If you don’t have patience or basic respect, you shouldn’t be teaching people how to drive. I paid to learn, not to be talked down to. Thankfully, my next instructor, Aaron, was a breath of fresh air. He made me feel comfortable, safe, and confident on the road. If you’re new to driving, ask for someone like Aaron not Jeremiah.

I got my drivers license through Nova and returned for some lessons later to refresh my driving skills. I had a great experience and highly recommend them, especially their instructors Jennifer and Jeremiah. Jennifer is an extremely patient and helpful teacher, and she helped me so much with parallel parking! Thanks to both of you for your help with driving and building my confidence.

Nova Driving School is amazing! Both my instructors were cheering me on through my driving lessons and my RT Instructor, Michele, a dynamite and wonderful person! She was extremely supportive and encouraged me constantly with my driving, even through my mistakes! I felt so much ease being with her and was able to get my license thanks to her advice!!

Tried asking for information about their program, got an ignorant/trolling response. People are better off going through the city colleges of Chicago. Preferably Olvie Harvey on the Southside. They treat you with respect instead of some clown that runs their Fb.

I called today to see how much it would cost to learn how to drive a manual transmission on a tractor trailer. I already have my Class A but I need to upgrade it. The guy told me 4 thousand dollars. I immediately got off the phone. That's a expensive price. I didn't ask him how much the class would cost overall learn pretrip, driving etc. Have to cost 10,000 dollars. Knock it off Juarez trucking school.

Came for my Class A with them. Very much appreciated the one on one training with JR. very attentive and informative. They're definitely going to make sure you're fully ready to go from the written test, up until you get on the road. I'd recommend them to anyone in the process of trying to get their CDL.

Just got my CDL from Juarez trucking school. The instructors are the best!! I would recommend this school if you are serious about learning everything there is to drive a truck! The BEST!!

Smooth instructors and who really can work with anyone. For all beginner adults I recommend the 8 hr section for $400. After that just do some practice on your own and you can have your license in a month or two.

My experience with Nova Driving School was excellent-- their instructors were patient and skilled, all-the-while answering any questions I had without judgment. Another aspect that set them apart from other driving schools were the flexibility of their lessons-- they have a large number of instructors who can accommodate a large portion of the day, which makes scheduling very simple and stress-free.

My experience with Nova was exceptional. I purchased the Adult Ultimate Beginner Package and was assigned with an amazing driving instructor, Ismail. He was patient, taught good driving habits, and was very accommodating. And thanks to his great teaching skills I was able to pass the road test If you want to develop good strong driving basics and more, I recommend Nova Driving School and especially recommend you ask for Ismail.

Apologies Ismail, got into my work stuff and didn’t get to write something. However, better late than never. Ismail was really helpful and knowledgeable about the entire procedure. His guidance gave me confidence and he ensured that I stay calm during the entire test and focus on driving. He held the hand from starting till I got my license approved. I really recommend Ismail’s guidance for anyone appearing for road test. Talking about Nova, they know their business and I felt that they guide appropriately for anyone to be successful during this process. I had an excellent experience (November 2022) with Nova and their Adult 2Hr Behind the Wheel + Road Test Prep program. Communication with every member of the team was great, booking was easy, details were confirmed, and the class/road test experience were smooth and satisfactory. Being able to book a program that includes use of a Nova vehicle for the road test was a big factor for my situation, and I was very satisfied with how it worked out. My instructor was great, and his training was essential to my passing the road test on the first try. I would (and have) happily recommend the Nova Driving School for anyone in need of driving instruction, development, or test preparation.
