Our son took classes at Central KY Driving School after he first obtained his learner’s permit and was learning to drive. His instructor was Amber Wedding, who is a thoroughly delightful and personable instructor - knowledgeable, encouraging and invested in our son’s success. Prior to taking the road test, he wanted to return to take the refresher course, which he did with Dean Paris. Again, it was a confidence building experience with another very personable, and helpful instructor. When our son took the road test, he had the best score of the day, per the examiner, who made a point to share positive feedback about how well, and safely, our son drove. We couldn’t have been more pleased to see his test results and hear that feedback. Getting the right instruction, early on, from instructors who care at Central KY Driving School provides an excellent training experience and solid foundation to give your new driver the skills and confidence needed not only to pass the test, but also to succeed as a safe driver. When I called to inform them about how well our son did, they also shared valuable information and advice about the next steps to take! We can recommend Central KY Driving School highly and without reservation.
The staff there is amazing and very welcoming. Throughout the lessons I never felt overwhelmed! They are very thorough in their instructions and teaching you how to be comfortable in the car. Amber is an amazing teacher and I cannot thank her enough. I would recommend anyone wanting to go to driving school to go here!
Central KY Driving School was amazing! Amber was my instructor and she was always very insightful and informative. She always asked if I had questions after explaining something and gave great feedback after every lesson. The last lesson totally prepared me for my driving test and she gave me some great tips that made me feel a lot less anxious to take my test (that I passed on the first try)! If you are an adult learning to drive (like me) I absolutely recommend this driving school!
Hands down the best driving school if you want people who care about their students and take time to get them confident in driving! Just passed my road test today and it wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t take these driving classes! Thank you guys so much, and Kendra you are the best instructor ever!!
Mr. P is FANTASTIC! Karen at the front is wonderful also! I will highly recommend this place and use it for my other kids!!! Justin passed his driver's test also! Cannot thank you all enough!!!

Mr. Jim is fantastic at what he does! Our son is a confident driver and passed his road test with ease on his first try. Apex is the best! Thank you for all that you do!
I am so glad I enrolled my daughters in Apex Driving School. Jim was such a pleasure to work with. He definitely taught my daughters skills that have improved their driving. I recommend that any parent of a teen driver sign your teen up for the class. They will learn to be a safer driver.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Our daughter had her first driving lesson yesterday. She was nervous, teary eyed and uncertain. Jim did a fabulous job calming her down. When she got back from her driving lesson she was all smiles and 100% confident and excited to learn to drive. I took one picture of her backing the car in. Perfection!! Thank you!!
Jim is an amazing driving instructor. He taught my daughter with so much patience, care, and encouragement. She always felt safe and confident during her lessons. Jim explained everything clearly, kept us informed and gave helpful feedback after each lesson. Thanks to his great teaching, my daughter passed her road test smoothly on the first try! We’re so thankful for his support and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great driving teacher. Jim is the best!

There are not enough words of gratitude that I could express for this amazing group of instructors! Cheryl who is over the office had me from the moment I walked in the door. She shared her story and layed out the whole process for me. She checked in with me every step of the way and made my whole process a breeze. She is the best! Now Buck, Dave, Mitch, Mark, & Adrian at the yard... those are the best group of instructors anyone can ask for. The work they put into making sure you know your stuff and knowing it correctly to the care they have are unmatched! I owe it all to them! They do there absolute best to make sure you pass your first time and that you don't just pass but set you up for success! If you listen you will not fail! They do not steer you wrong in any direction. There dedication is proven in there success rate and I am proud to say I'm a One & Done!!! The memories I created will last a lifetime and each one of them holds a very special place in my heart for the investment they made in me to succeed in my future! I had considered so many options for a place to train but going to 160 was the absolute best decision I could have made. I would choose them every time and would refer anyone to them. I'm telling you make this your choice you won't regret it!

Great people to work with and went through the course with ease! I got my one and done on a Thursday and started my new trucking job on and Monday! These people love there jobs and love to see there students excel thanks again guys!
The instructors are great! Highly knowledgeable in their field. The hardest part was controlling my nerves. Overall, great experience!!
The instructors at 160 are top notch and truly want you to not only get your CDL but they want you to be successful. I learned so much and was a One and Done graduate. David is amazing and all of the instructors are awesome. If you are looking to get your class A CDL I highly recommend this academy
