The best instructor you can ask for helps you with things you need help with. touches up on things you previously knew just the best all around walking study guide and driving teacher you could ask for. 10/10, book with Cherish Comstock! She's funny and even when messing up hasn't made me feel bad about none of them. She knows just how to take the tension away. I've had a few people before and while I liked them too, none of them took it home like Cherish did. I feel like the last 3 lessons really took it down and I passed thanks to her!

160 Driving Academy has been a great experience and an eye opener into a new career path in my life. 160 Driving Academy in Louisville has some great talent to teach you what you need to know to pass your state test. Ben Gordon and Donald Thomas have been nothing but patient and understanding on how I grasp the knowledge needed walking around a tractor trailer. They were there for every step of the way. At first, I wasn’t sure of their process and found it a little frustrating but as time went on it all started to make sense. Roger Hardy the yard master and Nita Johnson the branch manager are great people also. Always giving insight to a career in trucking and always encouraging what we are learning. The day of my test a competing school had 8 or 9 students at the test site. 6 failed the pre-trip inspection and the other 2-3 failed skills! That’s a real bad look for a competitor. 160 Driving Academy’s Students under Ben Gordon ALL PASSED! THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO DRIVE AN HOUR AWAY. DON’T BE FOOLED BY THE OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE AREA. THEY DON’T HOLD A CHANCE TO 160 DRIVING ACADEMY. TAKE THAT LEAP OF FAITH WITH 160! GET THAT ONE AND DONE HAT!
Great environment to learn. I learned something from every instructor there, and i got to have some laughs and make some friends while working hard at the same time. We learned everything we needed to know to obtain A CDL. I would recommend this school every day of the week!👍🏾
I do not recommend this school at all, there is a lot of racism and discrimination, if any Latino person or another nationality wants to start school here I do not recommend it since the teachers are very racist and they treat students of other nationalities badly, apart from that they do not provide the teaching and practice necessary to be able to learn properly, and when it comes to tests they only give you two opportunities, and if you fail the only two opportunities they give you, you lose all the money you paid for the school... You pay too much money to only get two opportunities to take tests, they also only have four old and poorly maintained trucks...
I had an amazing time while getting trained on how to drive a semitruck!! I have always wanted to learn how to drive such big size vehicle, but didn't plan on having to learn the mechanics portion of the process...it took me a few days. From begging to end it was a very pleasant experience. Everyone is very professional and always offering to help, the office manager, the online classes instructors, the yard instructors. With a push from my leading instructor, the help from the other instructors and the patience and support from my classmates, I aced the incab and pre trip portion of my exam and ofcourse, passed on my first try. The instructors are very helpful and have a great deal of patience. They will work with the students and teach standard methods to ensure the concepts are understood. It is important to listen and practice. I watched many YouTube videos from other schools, but if I have to go back to school, I would definitely choose 160 Driving Academy again! Thanks to my employer, I only had to pay 5% of the total cost.
I have not had experience with 160 Driving Academy, but it is a commercial truck driving school with locations across the U.S. It offers CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) training, typically a 4-week program that includes classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel experience. It’s my wish to attend 160 Driving Academy.

The Office Manager is rude! My son called to schedule and she told him to call back the following week and then when he did she was hateful and told him not to call again for another two weeks. Your company literally makes money off of people wanting to sign up for classes, you would think you would have better costumer service. Will look around for other options.
Love this school. Love that they pick you up and drop you off for your lessons. Very helpful office staff. Just remember lessons are booked at least 3 - 4 weeks out in most cases. Appointment book very fast. Inorder to use the school's car for a Road Test at Bowman Field, you need to schedule a four hour lesson. The second lesson is used for the road test. Students use the instructor's car during lessons, that includes a double sided brake, so that the instructor can control the car in case of an emergency. The students are in safe hands. Any one hour lessons do NOT include Pickup and Drop off. You will need to meet at the Driving School.
Took a motorcycle driving class recently with absolutely no experience and because of my instructor Larry, I actually passed! He was very informative and also had patience while I learned how to ride. The price of the class was reasonable as well. I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn how to ride or trying to obtain your license, go to this class!
Its a Pass for me! I passed in my first road test. My instructor was John. He taught me all the Important stuff for the road test. He was really patient. I will really recommend to have a class few days before your actual test.
I had Mr. John Stuart as my driving instructor for one lesson and my (second) road test. He was very kind, patient and humorous! He helped build up my confidence and encouraged me through my whole entire lesson/session up until it was time to take my road test. And guess what, I PASSED!!! I would highly recommend John as a driving instructor! I am very pleased with the Kentucky Driving School, especially with being able to use their car to take the road test in and getting your get your Driver's License!
