I had a very good experience learning to drive with this school. I took the 10 lesson pack, which has great value for a very decent price. Elvin, the instructor, was very patient and professional. Worst place to go !!!!!! don’t be misled by the high ratings they do not reflect the reality of how this business is run. I genuinely don’t understand how this driving school has 4.9-star reviews — I strongly suspect many of them may be from family or friends. I initially called Elvin to inquire about driving lessons. He sent me a photo of the package, which clearly included the 5-hour class as part of it. Based on that, I decided to go with their services and completed the 5-hour class. However, after the class, Elvin asked for payment for the class separately, even though the package he sent me showed it was included. I told him I could Zelle the total package amount, but he insisted I come in person to make the payment in the evening. I explained that I’m a night-shift healthcare worker and it’s difficult for me to come in the evening. I asked to come in the morning when the office opens, but he kept refusing and would only suggest times after 6 p.m., showing no willingness to work with my schedule. Eventually, he agreed to meet me at 8:30 a.m. and asked me to call him at 8:00 a.m and that he can’t wait for me .I left work early and traveled all the way from Manhattan to get there on time. When I called him at 8:00 a.m. as agreed, he casually told me he was still in bed and couldn’t come, and asked me to come after 6 p.m. again. No heads-up, no apology, nothing. This kind of careless and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable, please don’t go here 🙏🏻
Elvin is a great instructor. He is patient and easy to talk to. He also gave clear instructions to my teenage son. Sometimes, he volunteered to drive my son home so I did not have to pick him up. I recommend Richard's Auto Driving School to those parents who want their teenager to learn how to drive safely.

“I can’t express how thankful I am for the amazing experience at this driving school! My journey from being nervous and unsure to passing my road test successfully was made possible by the fantastic team here. A special thanks to Nicole, who was always so helpful with scheduling and making sure I stayed on track with my lessons. She was incredibly responsive, professional, and always made sure I had everything organized. Lucy, the office manager, was a great support throughout my time here as well, even though we didn’t have much direct communication, her presence in the office made everything run smoothly. A huge shoutout to my instructor, Lester! He was patient, clear, and always made sure to explain everything thoroughly. Though I didn’t have many lessons with him, the ones I did had a significant impact on me and gave me the confidence I needed to ace the test. From the very first phone call I made, I knew that Lucy Auto Driving School would be the place I went to get my driving lessons. From the moment I walked into the office to schedule my lessons Lucy was very sweet, kind and encouraging to me. When I started my lessons I was very anxious and nervous. However, the instructors I worked with, Joshua and Lester, were very calm and made me feel comfortable while driving. Their corrections and tips throughout my lessons are the reason why I passed my road test on the first try! I am so grateful to everyone over at Lucy Auto Driving School for encouraging me and helping me get my driver's license! :)

I’m so glad I went with Lucy driving school. I took four classes with them and booked my road test and passed on the first try! Every instructor I had was so patient and caring. This driving school is really the best although I have anxiety really bad it was hard for me to be comfortable driving. My driving instructor was billy he’s not really good mix with my anxiety but he was okay I really learned a lot. Today was my road test and guess what guys I passed first time I’m so exited if you never drove before this school is the one for you I promise.
This Driving School is the best yet. After calling some nearby schools I found American Auto and immediately I was amazed at the fees, flexibility and beautiful people working there. The owner Neil, is an individual who is hands on within the company and has been running for over 20 years. I met with him to pay my money ahead of time and unlike so many other schools, Neil assured me that I did not have to pre pay for my services and to give it the day of the test instead. He was really genuine and passionate about the business and gabe me a little background of the history. They also offer Drivers Ed in another location which is great. My Instructor Billy was very understanding and patient while at the same time making sure i mastered everything required to pass the test. Finally, I am proud to say I am a proud holder of a " NYS Drivers License" which i obtained today thanks to my instructor Billy who prepared me within an hour of my actual test. I suggest anyone looking to get there license begin in advance with taking the necessary class as this can only help you to be a little more calm and prepared on test day. I lucked out with finding this company and I recommend anyone give it a try over any other schools in the Westchester area. Might I add they are the cheapest but the quality of service rendered greatly surpasses the amount you will pay. YOU GUYS ROCK. BEST BUSINESS EVER!!

I paid about 210 bucks just for an instructor to boast how great he is, takes me barely 10 minutes for a pre test doesn't review or go over anything significant before the test and I ended up failing. Horrible experience with an incompetent instructor. Would not recommend.
Very disappointed with service for many reasons. Video content shown on the virtual 5 hour pre-licence class was often impossible to hear. I spoke up to inform the teacher of this and the rest of attendees agreed. But he brushed this away and continued to waste time playing videos no body could hear. Content was also extremely outdated. Then when it came to booking my test the service was extremely overpriced. $30 to book your test online!! This is something anyone can do by themselves in 2 minutes. I was told I would be brought for a 40 minute practice before my test but was only taken for 15 minutes, was given little to no guidance and was charged $50. The price then to accompany you to the test location is $80 (5 min drive away). Seems WAY OVERPRICED to me. Would not recommend.
I had a terrible experience with this driving school, specifically with an instructor named Kevin. After I informed him that I no longer needed his services and had already paid a different school to schedule my road test, he still took it upon himself to cancel my test — even though he had absolutely no right to do so. He was not the one who scheduled it, and I had made it very clear I was no longer working with him. What makes this even worse is that Kevin was extremely rude throughout our interactions, and at times made me feel uncomfortable in ways that crossed personal boundaries. I shouldn’t have to say this, but professionalism and safety should be the bare minimum when working with students — especially young women — and that was completely lacking here. I wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. Not only was this experience a waste of time and money, but it was also deeply uncomfortable and stressful. Be very cautious if you’re considering using them.
kevin is a great driving instructor, great safe cars to use for instruction.
Kevin is the best of them all !!! He don’t play about his customers. I had a driving test before my road test and we got there and I passed. I would definitely recommend him. He shows a little tuff love because he wants you to pass. Even though I passed the road test I’m going back for more lessons.

Let me start off by saying I had a bad experience with another driving school, so I decided to take a chance with Perlas. They are so helpful and accommodated me so close to my road test. She gave great tips on my driving and I passed the test on the first try! Thank you so much!
Its at a terrrible location, the instructors vary with every class..no matter how many classes you take, nobody is really concerned about making you pass the road test. I wasted a lot of time trying to park during the whole time but was never taught about road awareness and other things that you need to pass the road test. Overall, i am very disappointed and i wish i had spent a little more money and taken classes somewhere else
Crazy woman had an attitude with me... Many times she would not explain me in the right way how to perfect my turns. I failed here 3 times because something or the other. Lessons were not given on a timely manner. Never again coming here... It's a scam business they are running.. Very sad I wasted my money on this place.
If you want to FAIL, this is the place for you. I had the worst driving experience. They’re the worst communicator, doesn’t give proper instruction, they’re late to pick you up, not friendly nor do they give you confidence. Don’t waste your time and most of all your money. Not worth it!
I went for a class and one of the instructors there, (the lady) was very condescending and a bit rude. I stayed polite and just laughed but this would be my first and last class with them. I wish whoever reads this luck on the test🫶🏻
