My daughter recently took the “How to Drive” class and she really got a lot out of the class…and the driving instruction was wonderful!! I feel more confident in her knowledge and skill level after the class and was super impressed by how friendly and professional everyone was that I encountered. I would highly recommend this program for your new driver.
The experience with Behind The Wheel (BTW) was great for our new driver. The class time increased his knowledge of the road, and the driving lessons increased his confidence in driving. Mr. John is funny, knowledgeable, and patient. We will definitely return to BTW for our youngest son. Thanks BTW and Mr. John!
We decided on Behind The Wheel for our daughter. All the instructors were amazing and knowledgeable. Highly recommend! We will be using them again when it comes time for our son to get his permit/license.
What an amazing business. Both my son and my daughter took this driving school and received great classroom instruction and even better driver’s training on the road. All of the instructors are friendly, laid back and safe. All gentlemen and great with the kids. They also have an amazing simulator to help prepare drivers for the actual road. These guys run a great school. Can’t appreciate them enough for the work they do preparing our kids to be safer on the roads. Highly recommend.
FIVE STARS!! The gentlemen here are wonderful. My daughter already had her permit at 17 but we wanted her to improve her knowledge and experience before getting her license. Mr. Smiley was so kind and patient - our daughter really enjoyed the in-class instruction along with all the driving hours! I can't wait to bring our younger daughter back in a few years. I would highly recommend Behind the Wheel for anyone wanting to learn how to drive or improve your skills/knowledge!

I thoroughly enjoyed the pace and layout of this course. It was great to be able to do a live zoom and still interact and engage with the instructor and the other participants. I learned a lot, some things I knew already and some I didn't. Overall Samuel was a great instructor.
The instructor provided great insight on ways to become a more effective driver. I would highly recommended anyone to this course!
Great course, it actually was very informative and engaging. At lot of stuff I learned today, I wish I knew about before so I wouldn't even have to be in this position. Now my license is saved and I plan to use my new knowledge to stay even safer on the roads!
easy to follow class with plenty of breaks to prevent screen fatigue. professional instructor did his best to make a mundane subject interesting throughout the day. class was easy to sign up for and attend. certificate was sent out promptly.
Samuel was an amazing proctor/teacher. Kept the class in check, and was quite informative.

I loved my experience. Dr. Thompson was fantastic! He was very patient and very straight forward when I made a mistake. I would definitely recommend this class for your beginner drivers! Also make sure to take the test after the practice is over.

The one-on-one drive time was fabulous for my new driver. Instructor Thompson showed remarkable patience and knowledge for the rules of the road. He nurtured my daughter's confidence. This personalized instruction was certainly worth the cost of the class.
My daughter completed her first individual driving lesson today. She had class at the very end of July and this is the first time we could get a lesson that matched up with school and ball schedules. She had not practiced driving other than in our local school parking lot multiple times and one very short drive on a 2 lane road. To say she was nervous about the driving she would be expected to do at the lesson would be the Understatement of the year. We arrived to meet Mr. Skinner, her instructor for the day. Ya'll, he was AMAZING!! He immediately sensed her anxiety and promotly put her mind at ease. He started with the parking lot, took her to two different neighborhoods and then had her drive a short distance down Hixson pike to Hamans. Mr. Skinner consistently was putting her at ease while not just having her drive, but making sure she was knowledgable of what to do and why. I have been a driver for 38 years and I learned so much. She left feeling accomplished, much more comfortable with driving, and eagar to practice.....but more importantly, she is no longer dreading going back. Thank you Mr. Skinner for everything you do. From a 31 year veteran High School teacher.....you are a truly gifted driving instructor. Haman's is lucky to have you. Thank you for making our day much brighter than we were it expecting it to be.

I had a wonderful experience with all the instructors at the yard in calhoun TN Bill, John, Brandon, Emory, and Richard they helped us so much in learning to drive and teach us our skills they were always there and ready to help and answer any questions we have. I would recommend everyone that is wanting to get their CDLs to work wiith those guys
Very disappointed i came here in the hopes to get out of this in 3 weeks but they have 3 total instructors and 2 trucks with 15+ students most of us have been here several weeks they are very understaffed and the dont have running water. They have a porta potty and no sink to wash hands but they have a bottle of water and hand sanitizer to use. Everything i have been taught here was in a packet they gave us and by other students. I joined this school because i feel for the false advertising. This school doesnt need to be shut down but it need more employees and to stop getting new students every week when they cant graduate students who have been here for weeks below is pictures of a truck with a missing fuel cap
The staff was amazing. Never being in this industry before so I was nervous when I began school. Michelle, Rocky, and all the instructors were dedicated to their students success. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. All the instructors were amazing but I have to give a big shout-out to John B. who's "good morning sunshine" always brightened up my entire day!
John, Bill, and Emery, are all good instructors. Answered any questions you had, Michelle the office clerk is really nice. Overall good driving school.
160 driving academy is an excellent place to obtain your cdl class A license. The instructors are very helpful and will literally will do anything so that you can get the knowledge needed. I had an amazing experience at 160 driving and would recommend anyone who wants to get there license to go there ❤️
