Class A DRIVING ACADEMY is on the ball. They are turning out Graduates receiving their CDL very fast. The Students are pleased and the Administrators are pleased.
I just wanna say I made a decision to follow my dream & coming to Class A Driving academy help me make that happen the instructor made it so easy to learn & helped guide me when I almost gave up! They made sure to push me when needed & now I’m about to live my dream with the help of them! So if you looking for a great school to help you get your CDL I truly recommend this place!

Go to their yard in Memphis Before making a decision talk to the students! Not doing that i made a mistake moving forward with 160 driving academy! I know if you reading this you're prolly about to invested in your future of being a cdl driver and this location has a very low graduation rate! Because you will be teaching yourself or learning from other students not an instructor! I feel played that i payed out of pocket all this money to have no hands on training! It's very sad and depressing! Save yourself a heart attack go to Delta!
160 Driving Academy was a great school with very patient trainers. The trainers take their time & work with you individually to make sure you’re learning everything to succeed. After attending this school, I passed on the first try!
I started school here about two months ago. Prenia was very helpful although it seems she is very over worked. I had been to two trucking schools before I got to 160 neither one of them two I enjoyed. I was on the yard my entire time there and they helped me get my CDLs. Tony, Doc, and Sherrod are great teachers and if you pay attention to what they say, you too will come out with your CDLs. If you got time and patience I would recommend going to this school.
160 driving academy was a great experience! The instructors were very helpful and informative throughout the whole process. I was giving everything I needed to succeed! Sherrod is the best! Got my cdls on my first try!

I had an amazing experience with Smart Drive! They were incredibly accommodating of my schedule and made setting up classes super easy. Everything - from scheduling to communication - was smooth and well-organized. My driving instructor, Eddie, was simply the best! He was patient, encouraging, and made every lesson enjoyable and stress-free. He explained things clearly, corrected my mistakes with kindness, and really helped me gain confidence behind the wheel. Eddie was there for every single class, guiding me step by step, and even came with me on my test day, since I didn't have a car. I could tell he genuinely cared about helping me succeed, not just pass the test. Thanks to Eddie and the academy’s efficiency, I was able to complete all my driving lessons and take my road test within just two weeks. I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor or experience. Highly recommend both Eddie and Smart Drive Academy to anyone learning to drive!
I had a great experience with my instructor Shalane, she was informative, very attentive, pushes you and was very welcoming. They give you a certificate even at the end, which is yayy.

Have not used the school yet but my first impression after talking with lady on phone to get info, was negative. She seemed rude and impatient. Talked fast and seemed frustrated when asked to repeat. Glad I read these reviews. Will not use.
My mother has had a horrible experience with this school. She got a ticket and decided to pay for it instead of fighting it in court. She was ordered to take a defensive driving class but she is not good with technology so I scheduled it for her. The first time they did not send use the code for the class till after it was over. Then weeks later we tried again, this time we had a code, but this time the class never started. I can only imagine the amount of people that this could be happening to but they don't have the technical no how to know it's not their fault. If possible I am going to try and get my mom her money back. When I signed up for the class I wondered why they had a no returns under no circumstances but know I know.
I have had 2 of sons attend Maxwell Driving School and would highly recommend this experience for all youthful drivers. It prepared them in many ways for the many occurrences one can experience as new driver. Knowledge is power and this school gives a great amount of knowledge and teaches skills that one cannot achieve on their own or without professional guidance. I recommend all parents of new drivers to get this training for the children here. Thank you so much. Henry Todd, retired police officer.
Did not teach how to drive backwards; example parallel park and even not teach how to back out of a parking spot. Driver lessons where suppose to be a hour each driver teacher came back in 50/55 minutes and even when they were late leaving because of the teacher they still shorted our time. I would have did a better job teaching my child myself vs spending $550 for a half job.
Don't waste your time going to this school. They don't keep any record and this so called Michelle was very rude and Ignorant stating that they don't keep record of who passed and who failed in their school. What an illiterate set of individuals working @ Maxwell or the owner must be illiterate too. How can you own a school but don't keep records. You are not worthy of training a dog or cat to drive.

Got my physical done, did the virtual class, I called and emailed my recruiter and my processor before I got my CDL permit to see when I would leave and I still haven't heard back from them 🤷...... UPDATE Finally got here Sunday night after driving in the snow. Just to be told there's no school emails been sent saying school is cancelled and yet my recruiter called saying I was put down as a no show for a class that was cancelled. Just keeps getting worse.
I had the best experience there in 2023. I had the best instructor that a person ever dreamt of having . My instructor name is Billy, he was very hard and strict on me because he wanted what was best for me. Safety is his top priority, no excuses. I went there with a mission to get my CdL and start on my goals as being a successful driver. With the help of swift, I was a first time passer, I’m currently a mentor and I’ll be an examiner real soon. I didn’t want the road to be easy, I wanted it to be worth it. At the end of the day, wherever you go, you have to have your mind made up and know your why. Stay optimistic!!!! Everyone in my class passed and now are successful. That year we had an all time high of passing. …. If I can encourage anyone out there that may read this post, remember, this is your dream and your teacher is there to help you you get there. Push by all means and don’t let anyone or anything stop you!!!! Trust the process !!!
I had a bad experience I don't I would recommend Swift transportation trucking academy to anybody you only get two weeks to train and you have to do a class that you done a virtual class too same exact class it's just a waste of time
