I never said thank you for giving me a chance and teaching me the skills that I'm still holding to and a lot of what I was taught believe it or not. Glad to see you're still burning the torch! ACT Is an outstanding organization for teaching students the necessary credentials of getting CDL's. I, being 18 years old, have learned a lot and can honestly say that this organization has the credentials along with the AMAZING Instructors. I want to thank Amy, Wes, Bobby, and Don for teaching and guiding me to the right direction and the right thing. These guys know what they are doing and are just amazing men. Thank you ACT for all you do!!! I recommend this school for getting CDL's and different licenses. Every dollar is well worth it for this organization. Thank you for your time.

Great instructors. Will say they line up either Yamaha V-Strom and Groms. The V-Stroms hold up well in every part of the exercises, but if you plan to or end up riding a Grom it can be difficult to pick up to the needed speed unless you get it a decent amount of throttle. While the instructors give amazing instruction I recommend paying a lot of attention to the e-course, and watching a few videos on friction zone. Overall a great place to take the MSF, and the instructors will do everything in their power to give you the practice and chances you need to pass. Unless you are becoming a hazard to you or someone else they will work with you.
Instructors were very professional. They made everyone from the person who had never been on bike to the lifelong rider feel comfortable. They were thorough with the instruction and made sure everyone understood the curriculum.
The course was great but poorly managed I am a beginner rider however I did fall with the bike accidents happen but that’s why were there to learn and afterwards I was told to leave Mort was great but brooks seemed impatient, and I didn’t feel like I learned as much as I should have Some good information, but the lack of structure and rushed pace made it hard to really learn I have heard better things about midlands instructors and will more likely try again there Abilene was a good learning experience but I wouldn’t recommended Abilene for beginners or friends wanting to learn and I’m aware there will probably a ignorant comment under this as to why im wrong it’s on every other post with a bad rating this is just my personal experienced opinion
I required a little more help that most, but they provided as much extra encouragement as they had time for. If I could go back, I would probably be a little more comfortable with shifting before doing the course, as they don't give you much time to get used to the motorcycle before they want you to crank up the speed. There were a few times I didn't feel comfortable and they did make me feel like I was slowing everyone down, which I felt was unsafe for myself and their motorcycle. The course is advertised for beginners, I paid the same price as everyone else and wasn't super happy about that. At the very least, I feel like a heads up would have been nice before taking the course as to what they expected you to already know. As someone stated before, it was mostly just long term riders who were looking to get street legal. I probably would recommend them to friends and family, but I may suggest they go elsewhere. Of note is that it could have just been the instructors I had and as they rotate, many other people may have had a different, and more pleasant, experience. I got my motorcycle license and all is well, so they did their job.
These guys are great. I hated how they hounded me but greatly appreciate they did. I didn't give up. And today I got on my bike smiling knowing what I learned and felt so much more confident in riding. Sure i only have a Super Cub 125cc but with their help, I'm not nervous to get on and go.

I would not recommend. But unsure if Abilene has another drivers school as it use to. They charge too much for the services. If i am payimg almost 500 dollars why am I needing to do driving hours with my child, i remember when the driving school provided all that. Why is my child still needing to do a drivers test at the DPS office instead of just going and taking the written portion. I went to pay the final payment and they had lost my daughters certificate and i had to wait while they slowly figured out how to print another one. Maybe its time to close down or give to a younger generation. If you are providing the bare min for these students the price should be half of what they charge. You are better off teaching your child to drive then just following the rest of the steps through the DPS office. What if parents dont have a car? As i said I would not recommend.
A Ok driving school is an excellent business! Went to the Dps and the wait was going to be over a month long for a driving test. A Ok said to come on in so they could look at the paperwork and help. They helped get everything in order and let us know what needed to be done and got us in for a road driving test 2 days later. This business will go above and beyond and are very knowledgeable in what they do!
This was worst experience on my life with this school I was doing great they don't lemme pass and they was trying just to keep me there and paying 74$ and after went to dmv and I did fine and I passed on my friend time .
Amazing place...... this is the mr miagui of places if you want to learn to drive right go to this place they are the most friendliest of people they were family to me
