Today, June 14, 2025, I successfully passed my driving test at Target Driving School, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the incredible support and training I received - especially from Brandi, my instructor. Brandi stood out with her calm demeanor, deep knowledge, and genuine encouragement. This isn’t just a driving school - it’s a place where you’re set up for success with care, professionalism, and heart. I want to give a huge shoutout to Target Driving School. They were awesome in every thing they do for their students. Yolanda was nothing short of amazing for scheduling around our busy schedules. She can always figure something out. She always sends out reminders the day before to remind you of your upcoming lessons. My driving instructor, Elias, was so easy to work with. He's very patient and pointed out targets to make it easier, especially for me as a first time driver. He was very accommodating, and even one time he was sick, he called and apologized and rearranged our lesson for the next day. Thank you Elias!!! And last but not least, George, who was my instructor for my final lesson and exam. He too was very patient and emphasized all of the target points and always reminding me to focus on the targets, so that I would not miss them. I followed his instructions and guidance, and lo and behold, I passed the exam on my first attempt. Thank you to everyone at Target Driving School. I wasn't confident I could get my licence before taking these classes. The instructors are actually kind and understanding unlike other driving schools. Extremely helpful course focused on safety and building important driving habits. They made parallel parking unbelievabley easy. I had Brandi she was amazing.

Took lessons with Rick and my test with John. Passed on the first try. Loved my instructors and am so grateful for their help. Very informative lessons and very efficient establishment! Would recommend to anyone needing lessons
The only star is for the driving instructor, who was excellent. Unfortunately, the front office staff completely ruined the experience. They were rude, unprofessional, and kept making up last-minute “insurance requirements,” claiming they were Texas state rules. When I pulled up the official DPS FAQ showing otherwise, they immediately changed their story and said it was “company policy” — even though nothing like that is listed on their website. This kind of dishonest, money-gouging behavior is unacceptable and damaging to the school’s reputation. Management should take a serious look at how these employees are driving customers away. Overall, a horrible experience. I won’t just avoid recommending this place — I’ll actively warn others to stay away.
Recently moved to Texas from overseas so went through a mock test and road test. Instructor John was great and provided good feedback. Front desk was also very helpful throughout the process.
Ally was my instructor. She is a very good instructor who cared about whether I was getting the most from my lessons. She is very friendly and helpful. She took note of what I wanted to practice more and gave very useful advice on those aspects. She also helped practice stuff that is not on the test and spent time helping me out on those. Not once did I notice her panicking or getting impatient when I made mistakes but rather she calmly 'steered the ship' back to normal. John's feedback during the mock test was very valuable too. Highly recommend!

LaDonna Claude taught a very enjoyable and informative class at Logan's Roadhouse in Round Rock today. I chose a classroom setting because I wanted to be able to ask questions, and all her answers were great.
Mrs LaDonna Claude was an amazing instructor. She was very entertaining and very informative. I really enjoyed myself and would highly recommend her and this school to all my friends.

The instructor Ladonna Claude was very knowledged. She put her personal touch on the course and was very captivating! I tried doing the course on-line but that was a big mistake. Going to the class was actually fun! Strongly feel any teen getting ready to drive needs to take this course! I liked the fact Ladonna was so into teaching us. I was dreading to attend the defensive driving lclass due to 6 hr time commitment, but I felt that Ms. LaDona Claude's class was informative and eye opening especially when she passionately discussed about DWI. She also gave us many real scenarios which must to be aware of in order to avoid getting a ticket or being arrested. The meal at Casa Chapala was yummy and clean place.
Mrs. Ladonna is an amazing teacher with a great sense of humor! She always has great stories to share and makes class fun even if it's a Saturday class. Her class beats online course any day!! Oh did I mention you get good food here!! Hahahaa choose her and this location, you'll have a great time! 👍🏻😁
LaDonna gave a great class, provided information in an easy format which was fun and easy to follow. Able to provide good examples and demonstrations to make her point on certain topics. Good lunch provided during presentation, which made the class time seem much shorter and went by quickly.

Taking the road test at Atx driving school was a great and wonderful experience. My instructor was very appealing and composed when watching me drive. I passed the test and recommended everyone to take their road test here because its a more delightful experience compared too pflugerville DPS.
They helped me get a permit and take the driving test! Each time I needed a new appointment for the dps, they made one for me!! That was so much easier than waiting months for a possibility that an appointment slot would open for me to get a permit! I passed my drivers test, first try, and it was really simple. Thank you!

I took 5 adult lessons with ATX driving school and I went from super anxious to actually driving somewhat confidently. Mrs. Linda and Mr Dolon were great teachers. dolon was very relaxed and had confidence I could do anything. One teacher I did not really vibe with so make sure you know you can switch around. The test was straightforward and the instructor was calm and still gave me pointers even after I passed. My only concern is that classes get moved around last minute, but they will work with you when that happens. Thanks so much!

I took some classes with Austin Driving school and ATX driving school before taking classes here and I can confidently say that Coastline is better than any of them. Michael B. was the best driving instructor I've ever had and he helped regain my confidence behind the wheel. I wholeheartedly recommend Coastline Academy.
As a student of Coastline Academy I thoroughly enjoy the constant discussion and reassurance with step by step instructions. Having calm and understanding Teachers also helps with navigating and understanding the rules and roads.
Coastine Academy driving school is a school I would highly recommend. I chose the 6-hour package. I love Aceable. They are great and helped me a lot to get my learners permit!! I would recommend this course to people who are trying to get their learners permit.
⭐ 1-Star Review for Aceable Very disappointed with Aceable. The enrollment process is completely misleading. You’re automatically charged a $20.95 fee for “instant certificate delivery” with no clear way to opt out — even though standard certificate delivery should be included in the course price. On top of that, they sneak in a $5 monthly subscription for Roadside Assistance that I didn’t want, didn’t agree to, and wasn’t given the option to decline. I was charged for four months before I even realized it, and when I tried to cancel, the process was frustrating and uncooperative. Their customer service just gives you the runaround — multiple emails later and still no resolution. I’ve asked for refunds and cancellation of unwanted charges, but nothing has been handled properly. It feels like their system is intentionally set up to trap you into paying hidden fees, then they make it nearly impossible to get help afterward. If you're thinking of signing up, be very careful — the way Aceable handles billing and subscriptions is unethical, and their support is not helpful when you need them most.
My son really struggled to get motivated reading the drivers manual so I went online looking for courses to help him and stumbled upon Aceable. They had a satisfaction guarantee so we gave it a shot. I'm very happy to report that he passed the written test with flying colors and was able to get his permit today! I will recommend them to everyone I know with children getting ready to drive. Aceable made it interesting and easy!
This app was very informative on giving adequate information on the importance of road signs and their meaning. The methods they used to help retain information were fun and made it easier to stay alert and pay attention. Definitely a good app if you want to learn about the importance of staying safe on the road as well as on water.

I highly recommend A&K Driving Austin. The instructors and the staff are kind, professional and prepared. I am really thankful for all the guidance they gave to my son and for their service to the community.
I bought a DPS Test and an hour of preparation at this school. I have never been yelled at for an entire hour like I was at this school. I studied at another school but decided to take the test at this one because there was time and the school’s rating on the map was quite high. At the school where I was studying, they always spoke to me calmly and politely. During the entire training period, the teacher never touched my steering wheel or steered instead of me. At this school, during that hour of preparation before the exam that I bought, the instructor shouted at me, constantly touched the steering wheel, and tried to steer for me. For some reason, she even signaled to a squirrel in a neighborhood, although there were no cars around, and the animal did not stop me from passing. She was angry that I didn’t make a left turn in front of a truck that was already driving in the same lane and was pretty close to me. She constantly distracted me with her strange phrases when I was driving. I felt terrible; I did not expect such a disgusting attitude from a driving school with such a high rating. As a result, when my exam began, after 2-3 seconds, she shouted "FAILED" (although even in the DPS police, they don’t distract you during the entire route; they let you drive the entire route, and only at the end, they tell you whether you passed or not). I didn’t pass because, in her opinion, I was not driving at the speed she wanted (although, again, even in the DPS police, they only deduct points for this if the difference is minimal and you start to slow down). My speed was within the limit. I'm very upset and would like my money back.
My daughter and I had a fantastic experience with A&K. Adri was amazing and accommodating with my busy schedule. She was kind and understanding. Eddie was fun and easy to talk which helped my daughter feel less nervous. I definitely plan to return to A&K driving in the future.
Maria and Allen both are great instructor to have, very professional and understanding. Share your concerns and they will help you learn driving the right way. Definetly recommend.
This is the best driving school in Austin!! After having a very bad experience with another well known driving school we decided to give AK a call. From the onset they picked up the phone and provided us with all the information needed to get our daughter on the road. AK provided excellent communication, offered pickup/dropoff and many more services others simply can't touch. Look no further than AK driving school!

The receptionist needs to be replaced! If you're hiring people to answer the phone, at least ensure they understand what evening classes are. I shouldn’t have to hear someone pause in confusion or ask for clarification on such a straightforward question. It’s a very simple inquiry that deserves a clear and simple answer.

Mr. Reyna and Ms. Reyna were so kind and helpful!!! Ms. Reyna helped me get all my documents and dates right, and Mr.reyna was very helpful and kind during my exam, really just pleasant nice people who made this a lot less stressful
This school and the experience were amazing! Mr. Reyna is an outstanding teacher, and Roberto and Hugo are top-notch instructors. They helped me earn my CDL, and I’ll forever be grateful because it’s a whole new beginning for me—and there’s definitely money to be made in the trucking industry! If you’re planning to attend, show up with a positive attitude, pay attention, and truly show that you’re ready to learn and earn that CDL. Don't come in with a negative mindset—it’ll just waste everyone’s time. These instructors are great people, and they will go above and beyond to help you succeed all the way to the finish line. Choosing ABC Driving school was the best decision I ever made. I''m in my early 20s and I had no driving experience and zero confidence behind the wheel of a car. That all changed once my driving instructor Mr. Hugo Reyna taught me everything I needed to know about how to become a better driver! :) They teach you not only the things you need to know on your driving test (which you can take with them btw) but they also take you to practice in residential areas, downtown, and even on the highway! I couldn't have asked for a better instructor: Hugo is incredibly patient, knowledgeable, kind, and very professional! He didn't give up on my no matter how many mistakes I made. He made sure I had all the sufficient practice he knew I needed to take the test. He kindly led me to the direction I needed to complete my road test. It's because of him I'm a much better driver now! After taking their 10 hour course back in Aug/Sep 2022, passing the drive test, getting my license, and then getting more personal practice behind the wheel for 4 months, I officially purchased my very first brand new car yesterday!!! :D I feel so much confidence behind the wheel now, and I get so many compliments on my driving skills from family and friends. I regret paying for the driving lessons - they are impossible to schedule. Outside of the classroom lessons, they are completely disorganized. When we scheduled driving lessons they have been canceled by the school requiring weeks to reschedule. I scheduled one appointment nearly three weeks out on a Thursday only to be told by the school that it was scheduled on a different day that I would never have considered due to other commitments. Voicemails left go unreturned. We are now four months in and have been able to complete two in person lessons. How can a company that has been around so long not use some kind of scheduling software? Baffling.
Poor customer service. I opted to take my road test there and pay $75 (as opposed to taking it for free at the DMV). They gave me someone else's envelope with their documents. As soon as I got home, they called me and insinuated it was my fault. I managed to go back 4 days later to get my envelope with my documents, and the manager yelled at me for not coming back that same day. She was convinced she called me 2 minutes after leaving and made me feel bad, saying I was lying about it actually being 15-20 minutes. She later apologized and was very nice, but I didn't intend to pay $75 to go through this hassle.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!! My family wasted $400 paying for their in-person course, all for them not to do their job and ultimately help get me a license. In the beginning it was fine, they taught me what I needed to know and let me drive around in town to learn, which all went well, and I passed my test and got my permit. HOWEVER, when it came to getting my DL, the office was slow to respond, they sent me the wrong certificate to take the road test, claimed that I had already picked it up when I had not, which I had to pay extra for. The certificate they sent me wasn't the original and was unsigned. And it took over two weeks to get the "copy" from them, even though they said they would send me the right paper. It's been a lot of back and forth with this company, and they've only added more work as they haven't been of any help. And now I have to take a different course, which I have to pay for, to get my DL. Honestly, I would just recommend teaching your children or whoever is wanting to go here, yourself, or invest on an online course with someone else.
My son had a great experience with Austin Driving School. His instructor was Victor and he was super. He gave clear instructions and was calm with his approach. It was easy to learn from him and my son felt confident to take his driving test. He really enjoyed the lessons. He took his driving test at the Round Rock location and passed with flying colors. We had no problem with scheduling and the entire process was easy. From our experience, we would recommend the Austin Driving School!
I loved this place. The exam wasn’t anything stressful they make you feel confident before starting the exam and before you know it you’ve finished the driving test. They are really friendly, I totally recommend this place.

Ontem fiz meu teste de aula prática nessa auto escola! Amei ! Fui muito bem recebida e acolhida! O senhor instrutor é uma pessoa maravilhosa e muito paciente! Recomendo
They have half of instructor and can only schedule 1 driving class every 2 month or so. Scheduling system is non existent. They put your name hand written on a piece of paper and you just hope someone will call you back within a month.

Mr. Frost is the best instructor. I really liked that they have pick & drop facility, also the classes were 1.5 hrs long and once in a week. This made such a huge difference so that I could practice & took full advantage of the classes. Not like others where classes are done in back to back 4days. I highly recommend ADS especially Mr. Andy Frost as an instructor.
I recently had the pleasure of giving behind the wheel test at Austin Driving School on Anderson Mill Road, and my experience was exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Mr. Mathew at the front desk, whose helpfulness and politeness made the administrative process seamless and stress-free. My driving instructor, Ms. Runge, was outstanding. Her calm, polite, and humble nature created a comfortable learning environment, allowing me to build confidence behind the wheel. She provided clear instructions and valuable feedback, which were instrumental in helping me develop safe driving habits. Overall, the professionalism and dedication of both Mr. Mathew and Ms. Runge made my learning experience at Austin Driving School highly positive. I would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking quality driving instruction.

I took my road test here recently, the staff was very efficient and my test began on time. Overall, great experience. I’d definitely recommend to others!
The instructor demonstrated he has a lot of experience and patience for learners. The staff overall was pleasant to work with however, the manager there makes very rude comments publicly. For instance, she stated loudly she didn’t know why I was sitting in the black seats by one of the desks without taking in consideration that there was nowhere else to sit when I came back from my driving test. Additionally, I have medical problems with severe back pain that limits me to sit in hard benches for long periods of time. Talking about “it’s a huge pet peeve of mine, why couldn’t she sit elsewhere?” Even though it was nowhere near her desk nor was I in no ones way. They also gossip a lot among employees with no discretion at all not only about each other, but customers that come in.
I'm not going to gatekeep because I feel this is important, especially for those that are nervous drivers and get nervous during tests. But if you get the female test proctor, she's notorious for failing people. Be extra careful and vigilant if she ends up being your road test proctor. My son was an ADS student and she still failed him. He was not parent or self taught so if he failed, that would be on ADS not on the parent. He eventually passed his retake a week later with FLYING COLORS with a different proctor!!! The ladies inside were super nice and extremely helpful and bilingual! They are very patient and super efficient. Kudos to them they truly run that place!!
I did my driving test with Maria. She was very patient and very clear in her instructions. It was really easy to schedule the test; they have plenty of availability. I would definitely recommend it.
Do yourself a favor and call them! My son and I had been struggling with DPS and another driving school for months, ADS helped us resolve it all in a day. They are so nice and helpful, night and day difference from the others. Would absolutely recommend! 💯

Total waste of money! Paid $399 for my kid to just get her permit! Behind the wheel was only 7 hours and not consecutively! It wasn’t one on one there were other students taking turns!
