really good school! if there’s any bad reviews are because of parents who are immature and just don’t wanna pay full price or don’t want to follow a contract, etc.
I learned so much at 1st choice Driving Academy! Any questions I had, they answered swiftly. I really enjoyed how Mr. Cazares taught the class. He mixed in the right amount of seriousness as well as being able to take a joke and overall made the 4 week course all the more bearable!
Amazing teachers with so much experience and kindness. They are family owned and will definitely help you learn and understand why the laws are what they are. Thank you Cazares family and team.
Today I found out my son had noticed the "Teacher" texting while my son was driving. If it is up to a Parent to practice with their son, there is no way I would be focused on anything else other than the Student Driver. Don't raise your voice out of frustration from unanswered questions you may have. The "Teacher" and husband will threaten you on how happy I should have been not being there at the school, after raising my voice to his wife. I asked if he was threatening me, and he answered yes and how I was not allowed to call back. Trusting someone with your child's life in their hands will cause frustration and anger if simple questions cannot be answered by the people who are supposed to be teaching them. Please note that the Owner blames my son's ADHD disability on my anger that I had to use with them, due to not being able to get any answers from them. Having to show any anger on the phone has nothing to do with my son's ability to operate a vehicle. Read their response to this review's response from the Owner, and they still state that all of their attention is towards the students. They just tell you how my son will lie about how he noticed a "Teacher" texting during a practice lesson, when the Owners weren't even in the car at the time. The parents are always wrong in their eyes. They are there to only suck as much of the government's money as they can to buy nice cars you'll see in their photos.
The instructors and owners are very professional, understanding, and clear. They are to the point about policies and rules and teach very well.

Miss M.E. Abete was a very nice and understanding teacher. I liked the instruction and how easy it was. The classes were fun and although it was after school, it was easy to keep all the information in.
I’m satisfied with the results of Arroyo Driving School. The classes for the written were simple and straightforward, making it easier for one to comprehend. When it came to the driving, the instructors were very patient and clear. They made sure that I understood and performed well. Of course, one itself has to put the effort to learn in order to receive better results. Overall wonderful experience.
I had an amazing experience with M. E. Abete she is very patient with us and finds ways to help us. She plans field trips for us to visually learn. M.E. Is a cool teacher and makes learning fun.
I had a great experience at Arroyo when I got my license, the staff are super welcoming and professional! I definitely recommend this school for any kid just starting out to drive!
The in class instructor M.E. Abete was very wonderful. My siblings have been here before and all of them enjoyed and learned a lot here.

I cannot stress how awful this school is. Literally the instructor said it was illegal to drive without the proper accelerator and brake pedal rubber grips. To my surprise that's exactly what one of their cars was missing, which made the pedals super slippery when it rained. Not only that, but they also failed to fix my test grades TWICE. If it weren't because I complained a third time they wouldn't of fixed their mistake which could of increased my insurance since a high A equals a lower insurance policy. But the thing that annoyed me the most was that in the end they are supposed to give you two papers one which has your test scores for the insurance company and the second one which you take to DPS to take your driving exam. (Thet never told me that I had to get two papers from them. Was this a scam they played on me and others who knows.) Well well well, guess which one they forgot to give me, yup the one for the DPS, and the office lady still had the nerve to say that she gave it to me when not once did I receive it from her. I don't have alzheimer and I get good grades which implies I have a good memory. Luckily for me my parents could afford the lost paperwork penalty at that time. But that's no good excuse for a company to over charge you for something that was their mistake. Take your kids else where, or go ahead and try your luck.
Mr. Benavides made the 6 hour defensive driving class go by relatively fast and it was pretty interesting! They do a good job at having a variety of lecture, videos, examples, and activities. They do a really good job at preparing you for the exam and making sure you succeed. Overall, it was a good experience and I’m glad I chose Benavides!
Front office is horrible. Plain out horrible. Their costumer service needs work they are rude and if your a minor they take advantage of it. They don't respect any child treating them poorly and disrespecting. They also like to fail your drivers exam, so if you're considering taking the test with them reconsider!!! Only good thing from them would be instructor Mr. Gonzalez.
I could definitely recommend Benavides Driving School, I was able to get my permit and took my Driving test with them. They teach you everything you need to know. From the office staff and instructors they are all willing to work with you and help you along the way. Definitely felt comfortable with them.
Great school. Efficient and knowledgeable. Kid completed a 1 week classroom room course and is more confident to start driving.

Robert and the receptionist were both so patient and kind. I felt comfortable and confident during my driving test. I have no doubt this driving school is one of a kind.
