This is the best most amazing driving school I’ve ever been to. The teachers really help those who need and will be there to help. I’ve met great people and we all treated each other with respect. The teachers were really kind and patient with the students treated us with respect. They explain these classes really great and I’m glad they do because it makes it easier to understand what they are talking about and I really like that.

This school was affordable and they were great teachers!! My son, who recently reviewed as well, loved this school! He completed his 6 months with a learners permit and passed his test today! I’ve seen some not so nice reviews. Looks like most of you have attendance issues. We were advised multiple times of tardiness/absence and fees. We totally forgot about one of his drives and felt so bad. I wasn’t hesitant on paying the no call/no show fee. Be on time and show up and have no issues! I Definitely recommend! Thank you!!

Very informative class, fun activities with lessons. Lisa is very nice, fun, helpful, and even shows some over her povs of driving to help students see a better view of driving from someone who has experience in driving.

I was nervous the 1st time just had my baby and was extremely tired. I rescheduled after I failed and was more level headed and I passed. Thank you for the opportunity. There was too much stress at the DPS with all the people. This wasn't so bad I would recommend this place.

The WORST experience!!!! The female manager who is also the driving instructor is extremely rude and unprofessional! Do not bring your child to this school unless you want them to leave traumatized. I wish I was joking. First driving lesson left my sweet niece in tears after being behind the wheel with this monster. Underhanded comments, sarcastic, condescending. I urge everyone to go someplace else. ************ Update to vague response: Interesting how I’m not the only person who agrees this woman’s attitude IS an issue. Zero accountability. How are teenagers supposed to learn how and what to do when you have an awful person talking down to them, making them feel uncomfortable, and being sarcastic during their very first lesson behind the wheel; not to mention, embarrassing them in front of others, calling and singling them out?? It’s no wonder they make more mistakes, they are so nervous that they can’t even concentrate! AND not only during driving lessons, but also in the classroom! What a hostile environment. Anyway, you all be the judge, here are some examples of likeminded individuals
My experience with the S.V.M Defensive driving school was satisfactory for what I had come in expecting. I got the full bundle for over 100+ for the adult driving class and for an appointment for a driving lesson. It took me two attempts to get my license through S.V.M with their instructor being very capable and honest in where I went wrong. Overall I say it’s a very friendly school with a mix of all ages. I would refer anyone to this school if needed the reason, and my most enjoyable moment I had with the School would be how fast and helpful everyone working there was, making it a breeze to do everything I needed to do. My only complaint about the whole course would be the class itself, personally I feel like I learned very little from the 6 hour course as much of it felt like padding. My experience with the 6 hour course was lack luster to say the least, but then again maybe I just knew everything I needed to already and it was just repeating things I already knew.

I highly recommend this driving school. I actually chose this school based on its positive google reviews and I don't regret it one bit.They provided me with excellent tutoring for the adult driving education course, driving lesson and test. I can't recommend them enough. Mr C. is the best.

The instructors and staff were all very helpful and kind. I 100% recommend this place. Update: I went in for my driving test yesterday and passed!! I cannot recommend this place enough! They give you a review of exactly how the test is going to be and give you tips for parallel parking if you don't already know (I had NEVER in my life attempted to parallel park) and they are open to answering any questions you may have! Do not think about it twice this is the best place!

My son did great in this school classes were good and driving sessions too. Just the scheduling was a nightmare! Even online worst if you call
I went here for driving lessons and they were alright but what I hated the most was scheduling your drives. You would always have to call on 12pm on Thursdays and they would never answer and when they did they said that it was full and had to wait until next week. One time one of the drivers went out of town for a couple of days and rescheduled me but that became such a continuous things that my rescheduling turned into a month wait and unfortunately because they waited so long I had to renew my permit. This other time I called at 12 and scheduled a drive and the lady even confirmed my date and time but when I arrived they told me that I never called and never made an appointment. Do what you will with this info :/

The classroom portion of the course is straight forward. Drop off your kid at 4:30pm and pick up at 6:30pm. Now as far as the driving portion; that’s a nightmare to schedule. The office personnel advises you to call at 12pm every Thursday to schedule for the following week. That’s easier said than done. When attempting to call at said hour, no one ever answers and they specifically ask you not to leave a voice message. Attempts over and over to schedule fail and when you finally do get someone on the line they tell you you are put on a “cancelation list”. In other words, you’ll have to skip a week unless some else cancels their class. At this rate my kid will finish driving school in 1 year! The course has been OK so far but be ready to waste your time calling over and over. Their scheduling system needs some work. Two stars.
Driving school was great, 4:30 - 6:30 and your out. I recommend this place since everyone is very nice and the lessons are well presented.

This is a great place for anyone who is in need of learning how to drive. The staff is courteous, professional, and very helpful! My eldest daughter completed her teen driver's ed class with them and felt confident to start driving. I look forward to working with them in the future when it's time for my youngest daughter to learn how to drive!
This is a really good driving school. I highly recommend it. They are very professional, reasonably priced, and very flexible with what's convenient for you. I was going to a different driving school and they would yell at me and I didn't learn like that. Fernie was God sent. He's so patient and always willing to help. He really helped me get my confidence. I was always afraid to drive and look at me now, I did it! Now I drive everywhere. Fernie also taught me to believe in myself and never let anyone tell me I can't do it. I am successful because Fernie is great at his job! I can't forget Yoli, she's so friendly and welcoming in the office.
My experience with this driving academy exceeded all my expectations, thanks to Yolie and Fernie who provided me with a very seamless and professional experience. Thanks to these two very professional individuals, I highly recommend the El Paso Driving Academy, if you are thinking about learning how to drive and/or obtaining your license. They also offer other classes, which they will be happy to provide information about on request. Kudos to a job well done with much success!
Within the time I was actually over here I actually had a great experience and my overall time was very great. During the schooling part of it, the instructors were very informative on what you need to know about rules of the road and go into further detail on everything you need to know. For my drives Fernie and Yolie were very respectful, helpful and very professional about their job and they are the most friendly people I have ever met. They would help you on any mistakes you make and help you answer any questions you have. Overall I would highly recommend this school if your really looking forward to having anyone learn or driving with them. -Former Student -RobertK

I've been taking my little brother to this driving school since he turned of age for his permit, they are efficient professional and very informative at a very reasonable price, we checked out some other driving schools around the area and they were very rude and unprofessional, if you know what's good for you or your family stick with driving School C 2266

We're very happy with how things went with our son's driving experience overall. I want to especially thank Mr. Rick Barroso, who went above and beyond and helped us schedule our appointments with the Texas Department of public safety after our son passed his final driving test! Thank you for a great experience and helping getting our son ready to start driving!
Our daughter enjoyed the experience. Management made themselves available and really work with scheduling. They also offered solutions that worked when we did encounter obstacles. Happy to report we have another safe driver hitting the road.
Mr. Martinez was my driving instructor and he is literally the BEST! He’s very helpful and attentive. He had no problems going over things I was having complications with and he has a very positive and calm aura. He didn’t get frustrated with me nor did he raise his voice. He went over everything more than twice and I needed that. He talks you through everything so you’re not left in the blind. He was always on time and ready. He tells good jokes too so that kind of eases the tension of the whole thing. I’m thankful for him and im getting my license thanks to him. He needs a raise and he is HIGHLY recommended!
I did the online teen course and it was such a breeze! I’ve always had a big fear of driving but I had most of my drives with Mr. Barroso and he really helped me feel more confident and comfortable behind the wheel. It was a bit of a hassle scheduling drives because of how busy they are but there’s always a way to work out things. I admit I’ll miss it a bit :))

hello, took my test here & passed! i thank instructor Mr. Fernando Fabela for his guidance! i recommend for anyone who is needing to learn how to drive especially for those who are beginners & in need of practice or help with driving. i also want to thank them for providing a vehicle for practice & to take the test, not many drivers ed provide that & im glad that this kind of drivers ed cares about their people. thank you all so much! -Daniella
We started at the Hondo Pass location and was subjected to the assertive mannerisms towards my daughter of the staffed manned Parking Lot police about where parents would park for pick up and drop off. Yet, the staff never wanted to deal directly with me as a parent about anything. The final issue of patience depletion was there was never any times available for the 7 hours of driving and observation. I reached out to the Montwood/Firehouse location, and Mr. Manny went above and beyond to accommodate driving/observation completion, which I am completely grateful for. The staff was so welcoming, encouraging, and had a high level of patience which translated to my daughter being comfortable. If I could do it all over again, I would start at the Montwood/Firehouse location.
Every instructor has a different idea of what it means to pass. They are very rude and are not willing to help.
I took my drive classes here and 6 months later when you are eligible to take your drivers license you need a green certificate and I have been coming for the past week and they close 1 hour to 30 minutes before the time says they close

I thought this driving academy was really good and really helped me with my driving skills! It was at a reasonable price and helped me learn what driving is all about.
If you want to waste money on a literal dumpster of a school, then be my guest. Staff was rude as soon as I started there and the school literally smelt like poop the whole time and it seems they weren't trying to fix it. Scheduling drives was a pain since the system was garbage and I could only do it on the weekends with this rude old lady so try to do it on weekdays. Another thing was that I got a phone call from that teacher saying they are going to charge me a no show fee for an appointment I didnt even schedule. Like I said before, terrible service and people are doing the bear minimum here just to get their money. Go to Cherokee or do an online course and save your money big time.

Really good driving school, I learned alot at the adult course. The class really helped me pass the written test at their school. I also took my road test with them and I passed, the instructor really helped me to stay calm as I was extremely nervous. They really helped me to be more relaxed during my road test, I was able to pass with no issues as I was completely focused on the road all the time (instead of being nervous because of a rude instructor).
