Jackie is AMAZING! On our first lesson, I told him I did not have any driving experience so we drove in a parking lot and then in a matter of 30 mins I was ready to drive on the road! 2 lessons later, I became even better! I never thought I would be able to drive this well in a very short time but Jackie made it possible. He is very patient, detail-oriented, and always has an answer to every question you have. I highly recommend taking this course with him. You won't regret it!

I had a very good experience at A-1 driving school. Jackie is a great teacher, he’s very nice and patient. He taught me everything I needed to know and made me feel very ready for my test!

THIS INFO FOR THE ROAD TEST. I made a appointment to get my road test done at the Provo location. I was never explicitly told that I need my permit, though it's just common sense to bring it. Because I did forget it I showed up and was told to schedule to a later date. Which I thought was fine, of course forgetting my permit was my fault. However once I called to reschedule I was told that by forgetting my permit my 50 dollar fee needed to be repaid. Which it says nowhere in the road test portion of their website and the representative who scheduled me in the first place never told me. And then that I couldn't test there because there were no more slots open for me to schedule into. So they just took 50$, then told me I'd have to repay that, then couldn't reschedule me for another time if I were to pay the another 50. Though I will give the person on the phone credit for giving me other places I could test at, thank you for that. Coming back to this a second later, they asked me for my phone number, but never a email and I was never sent anything to confirm my purchase or any sort of confirmation email/text. So there's no sort of formal documentation. Edit: This is why i'm complaining, I know I needed to bring my permit. Like I said that's my fault. Though no one told me I needed to bring it from your end and never in anyway was i told, by person or website, that I would my slot would be for forfitted and my money taken if I failed to bring it. That was until after I called again to schedule and my money was already taken. Which is borderline against UCSPA.

A1 driving school has been very good. I really enjoy it because you can do their online on your own free time. Jackie has been an amazing driving instructor. He is very detailed and really teaches the maneuvers well. He stays very patient and is very friendly. He really helped me gain confidence to do well on the road test.

Jackie is the best driving instructor you can have if you really want to get everything down. Very to the point and will really go through everything that you will need, and how to fix any mistake you can make during driving would highly recommend to anyone who is very serious about being a safe talented driver!
