Good school, every instructor was kind and firm about the subject. I think one of the most important things about teaching is patience and that was definitely displayed here. While the fee for retaking the test was cumbersome it also served as motivation to do better. The staff including instructors were all so polite and friendly that am glad I went here! This review was pretty delayed since I passed but this school is definitely not a bad choice

Vehicles on site that are required for use in lessons and testing are very small. If you are a big and tall person or if you have a disability that limits your ability to climb in and out of a very low, very small vehicle, seek another driving school. Trying to maneuver into the vehicle was a humiliating experience and the discomfort affected my ability to take my test effectively. News flash, a variety of vehicle sizes attracts a variety of clientele. Not everyone is "average" sized.

We hit the jackpot with On Target! From Jules at the front desk to Mike and Char! The staff here is exceptional, the instruction is top tier, and the class options and payment plans work for anyone. The friendliness of everyone sets on target apart from other places in Vancouver. You won't regret it! Thank you to the entire staff! I'll always refer anyone we know to you!

Mike was a great introductor all around. When I took the knowledge test, he made me feel comfortable. I took the drive test with him too and it went smooth. Im glad I got him as an instructor!

911 provided all the education, practice drives and the final driver test for my daughter! We are very pleased and happy we chose 911 Driving School. My daughter stated that all instructors were friendly and she felt safe and supported through out her whole experience.

Taking driving lessons from this place is one of the best decisions I have made. Their customer service is superb and my instructor Kevin taught me a lot which made my anxiety in driving go away. Highly recommended!

The best learning experience for my son and everyone was so patient and knowledgeable when he was first starting out. The admin team is top notch and helpful with scheduling or answering any questions I had. The instructors communicate clearly and ensures the expectations are understood. I would recommend this place over and over again to anyone who has a child that needs to take a drivers ed class or if you were wanting extra refreshers for yourself. Thank you so much! From the moment you enter 911, you feel welcome. The customer service staff are amazing, polite, personable, and kind. They work with the students and the parents in the same way, making everyone feel valued and appreciated. The instructors are detail oriented, and they have high expectations of their students, but they also have high expectations for themselves. They give timely feedback and suggestions for improvement. We have always felt respected, included, and valued during all of our interactions.

I had an amazing experience with 405 Driving School! I passed my driving test on the first try, and I couldn’t be happier. A huge thank you to Barbara — she was incredibly kind, patient, and made me feel completely at ease. Taking the test with her was a great experience! I also highly recommend scheduling the extra 30-minute warm-up before the test — it made a big difference and really helped me feel more confident and focused. Super nice instructors! I was really nervous to take my driving test going into it. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. Even the rules/guidelines were encouraging and kind! I took my test with Mr. Painter and he was very friendly, inviting, and made me feel comfortable even during a stressful experience, like taking a driving test! Setting up an appointment for the test was super easy, just did it online and was able to take my test the following week!

I had a great experience with 405 driving school they gave me 2 chances to pass written which I got a 95 first time and was able to schedule the driving exam only two days later which I passed with a 82 overall it was a good experience and test driver that came was good .

Great way of learning driving and would recommend for the price. Online is very accessible and simple, Kramer is great at explaining, and answers any question, while also being a cool instructor.

Arrived early to a clean, quiet, inviting office to check in for my knowledge test. Showed my ID and was given a paper, asked to sign it, with multiple choice options for 40 questions. The fee was $65 for 2 tests/second test is free, which is much cheaper than I found around town! Several other "students "arrived for their test as well. Once the instructor arrived we lined up, gave our papers to them one by one, was handed a booklet with the 40 Knowledge Test questions, and took a seat, spaced out from other students. The test was super easy, as long as you study/know the basics. Once I finished I handed my finished test to the instructor, was given my "congratulations you passed" slip to schedule my drive. You are unable to use your own vehicle at this location (Vancouver WA). Driving school vehicle only. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and definitely would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to obtain their knowledge test/drivers test. Thank you to the team that works there. You are all very much appreciated! 👏

Atlas driving School is the best, Megan the instructor really made me feel at ease. I recommend Atlas driving School to everyone.

We live in Battle Ground, but chose to go to Atlas because of instructor, Megan. You can tell she really cares about the students and their safety on the road. She was very upfront about everything and supplied multiple papers with the school's policy and rules. Our son is two weeks in and learning so much. He is getting more and more confident. We are very happy with Atlas! Highly recommend!

BEWARE - UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES! I would not recommend this driving school. The owner and instructor are NOT on the same page with communication of business policies. We paid top dollar for a service we did not receive and now my daughter's driving education is on hold until we can save for another school. On the parent information night it was communicated that if the school was not a good fit for any reason, we would be issued a refund. My daughter attended two classes to try the school (no drive time at all) and on the third class decided it was not going to work due to the instructor using fear tactics, being fast and disorganized, and being highly emotional and crying in class. This is not what you want in a driving school which is already intimidating for some kids. My daughter was scared and upset we would lose our investment but the instructor assured her that if she stopped the school, we would be fully refunded. This was our understanding as well. When we asked for our money back, we were told we could not get a refund because "the DOL in Washington wouldn't allow it". We called DOL and were told it is up to the individual business to decide so this was a LIE. When we finally got a hold of the owner after weeks we were told we would get NO refund despite what the instructor had communicated. We were told we could go to the driving school at a later time when the owner "hired another instructor that was a better fit" in the future! We are now out a significant amount of money and my daughter's driving education is on hold. This owner doesn't seem to honor what her employees commit to or care about her customers. Horrible business practices!

My experience with Driving 101 was great! The online teachers were straightforward and helpful, and Kathi was great helping me learn all my driving maneuvers. I would highly recommend this driving school to anybody looking for an awesome learning experience!

Another 5 star rating for Vancouver Driving 101! The staff is helpful and kind, price is affordable and Tony did all of the drives for my neurodivergent teen. He turned an anxious non confident kid into a pro! It was a great experience!

Driving 101 was great to work with. I really appreciate Tony who was the instructor my son had for all 5 drives. He was calm, informative, and had a good sense of humor. Tony took the time to explain driving instructions and techniques before my son had to do them. Having a good instructor like Tony really helps ease anxiety for the new driver and the parent. We will be back in a couple of years when my youngest is ready to drive.

My daughter had an excellent experience. I didn't get the instructor's name but she was awesome. She demonstrated patience and understanding. I really appreciate the instructor taking the time to find out why my daughter failed the first exam (which was taken at a different school) and offer ways to be successful this time. She asked my daughter to get in the driver's seat, take a deep breath and then make adjustments and get familiar with the inside of the car. Before they started the exam there was conversation that my daughter said helped her feel more relaxed. My daughter said she felt the instructor offered positive non verbal cues that made her feel confident while she was driving. It was an awesome experience for both of us. I hope the instructor sees this review and if there was no covid I would have given her a hug 😊

It's a good place to take your tests. The driving instructor is very friendly. Katty is a wonderful person. She gave me confidence and explained well what I should do. I just recommend this place!

Great place to learn to drive and pass your CDL skills test. Steve does a great job teaching you how to safely drive large vehicles. He is also very good at teaching students how to perform offset backing and 90 deg backing.

I went from never having driven a manual to passing my Class B with a manual and air brakes on my first try. The instructors here build you up with steady and systematic training so you don’t feel overwhelmed, and get you ready to test quick. Everyone is very patient and provides a great learning environment.

I don’t normally do the review thing but after my recent experience with Trans 360, I feel compelled to take a moment and give just a little bit back. The staff was extremely compassionate and remarkably vested in the success of all their students. Their goal wasn’t to run you through and get you your CDL. They are more interested in giving you the skills to get your CDL along with the confidence and real world experience to keep you safe as well as the public. I highly recommend this company for all of your CDL education! They have a comfortable, fun and knowledgeable learning environment and they provide a lot of extra one on one attention/training for those students who need a little extra help in certain areas. Most of all, they really care about you, your experience with them and your overall success!

Trans360 is a driving school with great instructors that will set you up for great success in trucking and in life itself. I learned a lot of trucking techniques and practices that helped me to pass my test to earn my CDL. The patient and highly knowledgeable instructors also gave me the self confidence for me to realize that I can pass an official CDL test when I was struggling. This is all coming from someone who never touched a semi truck. I am now working class A trucking job. If you want to earn your CDL, choose trans360!

Frustrating - poor communication. Do not return calls, emails and when they do it's limited information or they only contact my son. Chuck was 20 min late for a drive and didn't let us know - we had to leave. Now trying to get final state testing and help and not getting return calls - finally hear from them and they're 3 weeks out for scheduling. I called a different driving school and was met with happy and helpful people- they were more than accommodating with scheduling. Where is the customer service Confident? I do not recommend this driving school!

Had to take my final drive test for the school less than 2 days after my older brothers got in a really nasty car crash. It had killed his fiance and he was in the hospital, he was in critical condition and barely conscious. I expressed this to one of the instructors, Sherri to explain why I was nervous and she responded by telling me that she used my brother's crash as an example in her class. During the drive, she kept asking about funeral details for his late fiancee. When I performed less than stellar, she told me, and I quote: "no offense, but if you were my kid, I'd never let you anywhere near a car. However, I'll pass you against my better judgement because I don't want to give your parents the added stress of scheduling another test."

Both my kids went to Confident Driving Instruction to take drivers education. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the course, the learning environment, and let me tell you, the staff is phenomenal. My kids are two very different people and I had no worries that they would be taught at their ability level utilizing their strengths and that their individual challenges would be addressed. They also have three different locations in South West Washington to suit the needs in many areas. Give Confident your business. You can trust them with your kids and you can trust the quality of the course. The owner David Gile is pretty funny too.

Two of my kids attended Confident Driving School when there was an office inFelida. We loved this school. It was the least expensive of all of the schools that we looked into. It was extremely convenient and easy to schedule and the instructor was very personable. My kids were well taught and well prepared for both the written and driving test. The school did a much better job of teaching them how to drive then I would have on my own! I was really sad that the Felida branch closed down and we ending up going with a different driving instruction school for my next kid. I very much regret it. This new school is by far inferior to Confident Driving.

Used their service for my Wife who is new to this country and felt they did an excellent job on teaching her driving. They picked her up and dropped back at our house, helped here get her license. Were very courteous and patient and not very many places can beat their price.

The instructors are kind, professional and patient. I feel safe knowing my son is in excellent hands.

I confronted them and pointed out that they marked answers wrong Using wisdom washington drivers Manual enhanced pointing to them showing them where I what I said is right in the manual. I think they still said no they can't do it now. I do not recommend them. I think the third isn't? It for the book? And they'll feel anybody's many times as they can. I'm 37 years old and 20 years and restaurant industry. I know it's a blood alcohol content level is in every state.

Scammers!!! Be aware!!!!! I went there to take the driving test. Charged 50 dollars. The guy taking the test made a few racist comments and then kept talking the entire test and distracting me. I have been driving for more than 10 years with no accidents! He FAILED me in the test and out rightly LIED about things I did or didn't do! The first things he said was let's schedule you for another test. Yes! And pay 50 more dollars He has made this a business and to make money for his business he wasted my time and money both Scammers!!!!!

It'll sure get you your licence, but you'll have an incredibly frustrating time. The staff in the front are beyond ditsy and immensely hard to deal with.

honestly this place was good chris was super cool and the lady upfront was welcoming but i really recomend you guys switch up some of your drive instructors especially that one fella david. When i was on a drive he kept itching his balls and making weird sounds, that led me to feel uncomfortable he kept saying nasty things I hope you guys really switch him up because perry andy and chris are some instructors you would want to be with

Matt and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to fit me in for my drive test at the last minute to help me meet my deadlines. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly commendable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Big John’s Driving School to anyone in need of driving services. Thank you, Matt and the team!

The instructor was actually too big to fit in my car and was really pissed and pushy about me paying another 45$ to rent one of their vehicles. He was pretty pissed about it and failed me before we even left the parking lot over me not giving them an extra 45$. Dang I never thought I would read so many bad reviews about this place though. I remember seeing the tan ford Taurus that's owned by this place after hours driving like SHI+ but I still went anyway. Don't go here.

I took drivers ed here back in 2015 and it was terrible!! Class instructor literally NEVER talked about anything related to driving and only talked about himself. They charged outrageous amounts of money and I learned NOTHING. Driving instructors were rude and offered no real advice about safe driving. I failed my driving test by 1 point because they had been teaching me the whole time to do the OPPOSITE of what I was supposed to. Finally went to Drivan’s in Longview for lessons and couldn’t believe how badly Big John’s had failed me as a school. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE. They left me confused, insecure, and out hundreds of dollars for years!

As a student that went through the whole driving school experience with Big Johns I can say it was a very good experience the owner, Matt, and the other staff working. There are incredibly friendly and nice. It seems like they all truly do care about the people that they teach, and it shows,I had a great Experience with not only my testing, but my drives and my Final drive test. My final drive test was a great experience. Thanks to Matt the owner because he made it a very comfortable environment and helped me to make sure I was calm and not too nervous for the test. I think this is a great driving school and you should definitely go here!!!

They had a habit of changing times and then we were told we were incorrect. Argumentative. Incorrect information on their website and voicemail regarding testing times. When I went in to clarify they said, oh yea that’s our old information. What??? One of the male drive instructor is very rude & intimidating. Went to another place for both the written and final drive and was much happier. Would not go back.
